I got injured during my stay and the staff were incredibly helpful making things comfortable for the remainder of my stay and bringing me food to my bed. I needed help coordinating with the hospital and booking a private taxi to the airport and the owner of the lodge was able to make those calls for me.

The staff are super friendly and drives you from/to the train station when you arrive/leave. Every morning they offer a ski shuttle to the nearest lift base. The water pressure/temperature is amazing. Great value.

The breakfast is the same every day. The location in general is a bit troublesome (but this is mainly due to the poor public transportation in the area and how spread out everything is).

I had a great time staying 7 nights at Black Diamond Lodge. The staffs were really friendly and helpful to making sure you get everything you need. The room was clean and comfortable as shown and expected. The location is within walking distance to ski lift which you can ski to the gondola. The accommodation also provides shuttle to/from Niseko train station, 711 and onsen which was very essential if you did not rent a car.

Location was a little remote and there were not much going on around the area as compared to Hirafu. To get to Hirafu you would need to rely on the buses which has not been punctual, be prepared to wait at the bus stop for at least 20 mins. However the peace and quiet of the area certainly outweighs the inconvenience. Renting a car should solve these problems.

Great place for a short stay for solo travellers. Friendly staff and great value for money. Have all the facilities you need for a no frills stay.
