Food at river cafe was not very tasty

When we booked the room through booking.com we were under the impression that the room included a bath, however once we arrived we were informed that there had been an error and that the room we had booked did not have a bath. This was not a major issue and we were happy enough to accept that an error had occurred in the information on booking.com website regarding room facilities. Whilst we were happy with the room supplied and eager to enjoy our stay regardless, unbeknown to us the hotel staff contacted booking.com to query the information on there website. Booking.com kindly authorised an upgraded room for us which was outstanding. We would like to thank both the hotel staff and booking.com for their kindness and for making our anniversary trip so stress free and enjoyable. The hotel is in a great location and is spotlessly clean, the staff are very attentive and professional, without doubt one of the best hotels we have stayed in. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone considering a trip to this area.

The hotel has great views over the mekong river to Laos. You can watch the sunset over the western end of the lake and mountains in the evening. There are loads of areas set up for picture taking at the hotel along the front of the property.

The hotel lacks a decent facility for meals during the day. The breakfast selection was minimal which may not cater for a lot of peoples appetites. The main restaurant does not do meals besides breakfast and there is only a cafe shop which offers a small selection of meals. There was also no swimming pool which I found surprising given the size of the hotel.

Really nice size room with good view from balcony. Staff is excellent and the breakfast was good with enough choices. Need vehicle or tuk tuk to reach walking street.

Cafe closed at 7PM.

The staff are amazing in welcoming guests and very attentive to our request. The room is in great position and the highlight will have to be the view of Mekhong River. There’s a cute cafe overlooking the river, beautiful flower gardens and organic vegetable grown there. The rooms are very spacious, comfy bed. A very memorable stay :)

Small problem with one unhelpful staff at the cafe and surpirisng how just one person can affect the overall imprssion of the place. But great staff otherwise.
