Breakfast available for long time in morning. Since water not potable in Heraklion, once you buy one big bottle of water when you finish the little supplied bottles on checking in, the hotel refills your big bottle as needed. All of staff were super friendly and helpful with everything, whether it was hotel questions or needs or sightseeing info, or calling a taxi, or directions to anywhere. And all with a smile. They all far exceeded what I expected as did the location. The hop on and off bus, Fort and harbor is a block away as is the taxi rank. Bus station is 15 minutes max walk away. Seaview balcony room was wonderful. Marveled at the view.

Great location, basic hotel but good value for money. Breakfast was included and more than enough. Staff were super friendly and always helpful. Has a fridge. Good restaurants across the road.

The only thing I can complain about is the wifi the first day, really slow, but it worked the rest of my stay.

the owners are very friendly, the room is clean and well equipped (hair dryer, towels, slippers etc) the WiFi connection was good and the breakfast was more than satisfactory. the location is the best. in front of the sea and 5 min walk from the city center. would totally recommend!!

Location is nice with views over the old harbour. Breakfast is plentiful. Rooms and bathrooms are modern and in good shape.

Room rates are a bit high for a 2 star hotel, but I suppose you pay extra for the view. Traffic noises are pretty bad around the hotel.

. A very nice hotel, perfectly located overlooking the old Venetian harbor of Heraklion. The hotel is simple but very pleasant, Kostas the proprietor was a truly perfect host and went out of his way to assist us with information, the room was clean and had a fantastic view of the ocean and the harbor. Breakfast was very good as well. All in all - a very positive experience.

Everything was perfect! Very welcoming staff. Very helpful, helped us with bus schedules and adviced really good restaurant and taverna. Very good breakfast-especially greek yogurt with honey! Will stay there again if necessary. Highly advice!

From the moment we entered the hotel we was greeted with a smile. We stayed 2 nights which was ideal to look at the sights of Heraklion. The hotel is close to everything, rooms are large and spacious. I would use this hotel again if I was to return to this city.

Friendly staff who tried our best to accommodate our needs. The hotel is beautiful facing the sea and with a nice sunset. I am sure if we booked the right room category we would have a different experience. So don't make the mistake we made and get a room facing the sea.

This hotel is a little worn down. We booked the city view room with twin/double bed. Unfortunately the first room they gave us was dark and dreary with city view is facing an inner courtyard of other peoples balcony. And since we didn't leave a comment that we wanted a double bed, we got a twin bed instead. I went down to speak to the reception and they explained why we need to put our preference in the comments and then gave us another room facing the sea for one night. We appreciate all the effort the staff did to make our stay enjoyable. thank you!

Very disappointed I didn't have a double bed, just two singles pushed together

The location was perfect, right beside the harbour and old port/Koules fortress. The view from the balcony was beautiful. Although basic, the room was clean and had everything I needed.

I asked to take breakfast to my room as I had an early tour I needed to get to and the man working was upset and said that would be a problem even though there were signs saying you could bring it to have breakfast on the patio. Besides this one incident everything else about my stay was great and staff was friendly.
