Very well equipped. Great accommodation for a baby. Parking spot available for a small car only but very nice to have so close to city center.

Communication for checkin could have been better. There isn't a good place to wait with a car before the owner shows you where to park. You also have to run the keys back up to the apartment after leaving parking garage on way out, which is not convenient.

The apartment is situated in the city center, so the location is amazing, everything is in walking distance! Other than the must see sights, many amazing cafes, restaurants, shops, supermarkets etc. The building has private parking which is a must if you plan to have a car in a busy city like Heraklion. We only contacted with the property owner via messages and telephone calls, but his partner Maria, who showed us around in the apartment was a pleasure to meet with. Our host organized the car rental for our whole one week trip, which was great and very much appreciated! His very own olive products are gifted to the guests, and are amazing quality! Also complimentary coffee and water (plus a small bottle of amazing raki) was waiting for us in the kitchen. We especially loved the terrace for breakfast and drinks in the evening. Everything was great, we will recommend this apartment to anybody who comes to Heraklion.

The location was excellent, very close to everything. The apartment was comfortable, and there were great amenities like a clothes washer and a parking space below the building

The apartment is central ans spacious. The street was quiet after 9-10 PM. There is parking inside the building which if you have rented a car in Crete is an absolute bonus. The facilities in the apartment are nice. There were items in kitchen like olive oil, raki, olives from host's grooves which a good touch from host. Despite an incidence it was a good stay.

1-Heraklion can be a confusing city to navigate for the first time visitors. What added to that was a street closure, the person who met at property was aware so it would have helped if it was informed in advance but once we found the person it became easier. 2- We found hair in the bed sheets in one bedroom at the time we were putting kids to sleep. This was an absolute put-off. I informed this to our host and he told me that the sheets was washed and it seemed right since the sheets were spotless so it could have been a miss on laundry. Still, it was not a good experience to see what we could see. The sheets were changed next day as committed. Other then that the apartment was clean and it might have been a freak incidence, yet we could not un-see the way it was.

The location is ideal , is an old well renovated apartment. Relatively good soundproof from the busy noise below

We were traveling with one child under 4 years old and one baby under one year old. The apartment was equipped with all the necessary amenities , except extra set of linen. So with one child and one baby , is really easy an accident to happen at any time. Unfortunately our child made a mess in the bed and we need fresh linen. We check the whole apartment in case there is any extra per of linen, but nothing. Per the apartment instructions left with us at check in , we called the owner to ask if we he can bring linen . The answer is that this hour calling 17:00 the mates he uses have finished their shift and there is no one at he building to assist us , since is not a hotel. My answer is ok we do understand that , and did not except any one to be at our service at any time , since is not a hotel of course, but please provide us instructions , of how to find a cabinet with fresh linen. The answer is that there is not any , no one is near by and he can not assist. He was going to look it up and call us but this never happen, Guess who slept in dirty linen , since the owner is stupid not to think to place an extra per of linen in the room and polite yes , but not wanting to assist you. So a nice apartment to visit but if you need any chance of linen because accidents might happen not reasonable hours, bring your own with you . Try to teach your children and babies not to mess up , unreasonable hours.

It's large, and in a convenient location for everything we wanted to see, and for good restaurants.

One has to remember to turn on the boiler to have hot water. And even doing that, there is no hot water in the kitchen. The beds and pillow are hard and uncomfortable.

As we are still in the middle of a pandemic, I have a special eye on the appliances, crockery and the Cutlery in the kitchen or remote controlers in the appartement and have to admit, that they were not very clean 😒

Friendly owner, well equipped kitchen, towels, etc. Great location. Plenty of room for numerous guests.
