This was our second time at Casa Perosa, lovely spacious house with level access for my son who uses a wheelchair. Kitchen full of gadgets and a small countertop oven which takes time to heat up, we also used the BBQ. This year we didn’t hire a car due to the rise in cost, Uba are plentiful and reasonably cheap although price goes up at busy times. We paid on average €6 euros to Albufeira. The beds are comfortable although only 6 pool loungers which have seen better days, that said I still managed quite a few afternoon naps under the orange tree! Throughly recommend this property and hope to return again one day.

Amazing house for holidays with family/friends with kids! Confortable outdoor area with a great pool. We enjoyed it very much!

The house was super clean and have an amaizing space ( inside and outside ) If you are looking for a place to get a great recharge, this is the spot! we were 8 and the house was more then enough for us!

Absolutely loved being here. The pool is fantastic. The property itself was really good for us. We were travelling with 5 children. 1 aged one. There were stairgates, highchair, travel cot, washing machine so it was easy. The kitchen was very well equipped and I enjoyed cooking there. So many pans ... ones big enough. There was a small oven and a microwave and we made use of the BBQ. There are a herd of sheeps and goats that passed the villa which was lovely. The horse riding was a hit and there were loads of things to do. The weather was better than I anticipated for October. Was sad to leave.

We were 8 friends staying in this villa for a week and our stay was just perfect ! The location is not that easy to find the first time, but if you put Villa Casinha in Google Map you will be 50m from the house. The villa is 10 min away by car from old town and new town (the best 2 places to enjoy a night out). The room were clean and tidy, the kitchen is fully equiped and the pool is beautiful ! Would definitely recomand that accommodation !

The villa itself is spacious & in a peaceful out of the way spot. The garden is large and private and the pool is lovely and plenty big enough. Lovely patios for eating out too. However, there were things that really let us down especially for the money paid.. We arrived in the early hours with 4 children under 7, however the directions we were emailed gave the wrong road name & so we spent 1 1/2 hours driving in circles before finally getting in touch with the caretaker who, thankfully answered at 3:30am and took us there. I'm sure this was simply a mistake but it serves to highlight the attention to detail the owners have. After 10 minutes of walking on the floors, the soles of the children's feet were filthy, so giving it a good mop was the first order of the next day. The villa comes as a shell, there was literally nothing in it, no welcome pack, no tea bags, coffee, sugar etc... only one of the bathrooms had hand soap in it, but only enough for a couple of days, no more. No beach towels, no cool bag for the beach. All things these things you'd expect in a holiday villa. The kitchen was equipped but things were old & pans were rusty. The toaster timer didn't work so toast burnt unless you remembered to manually pop it up. That was annoying if you forgot! I would not expect them to provide perishables but we had to shop as if we'd just moved home, foil, bin bags, salt washing up liquid, hand soap, etc... There is no entertainment other than the Portuguese t.v, no DVD player, no board games other than a connect 4 (with pieces missing) and a pack of cards. The other major issue was the place is infested with ants. You might expect them in the kitchen if you left food out but these were everywhere, in each bathroom, in the showers, in each bedroom, upstairs & down. These are rooms which no food even entered yet there was a constant trail of ants everywhere. They really need some form of pest control & even the powder we got only seemed to move them on. The cleaners came once, half way through first week to change the bedding, nothing for week 2. However, the actual villa is lovely & the garden & pool are perfect for a family. Location great but a car is a definite. We did enjoy our stay but the villa needs a serious update. The beds are old & creaky & uncomfortable. The pillows are too. Sorry for the negative comments but it is all constructive in order for you to improve for future customers & their experience.

Very nice house with a big kitchen and a beautiful Pool! Everything was great and we enjoyed our Holiday. We had some problems with the but and Arthur came suddenly and solved the problem - thanks to him again!

We really enjoyed the villa with swimming pool & BBQ. If you are looking for a villa for a holiday in Albufeira, please look no further. The house is situated in a quite place. A car is a must for at this location, but with a car you can visit all the nice beaches and places - which are all 20 minutes driving distance!

We really enjoyed our stay at the casa perosa villa it was more than we expected, the place was spacious, clean and the outdoor pool is a great size, all in all we had a great stay with our family of 4.

The villa was clean and well equipped, we managed without a full size oven as there is a small table top rotisserie oven and a bbq. My son who is a wheelchair user found it easy to get around as it’s so spacious and level although he had some trouble getting in the shower as it’s quite small with corner doors. The beds were comfortable with soft pillows and thank God for the air conditioning! We hired a car due to the location but ended up using Uber when eating out as we both like our wine. So sad to leave today and will hopefully return one day.

It was a relaxing holiday, perfect location and all amenities are within a five minutes drive .

My 3 year old twin granddaughters adored the pool and spent a lot of the day in it! As other visitors have commented the villa is dated. The beds were very uncomfortable and noisy. However I understand that will be remedied soon. We found the micowave and dishwasher broken but this was immediately remedied when we phoned the people who look after the villa. Arthur and Marguerite were available to help us sort out the ants although this problem was due to the hot weather. We really enjoyed the peace and quiet and were always glad to get back to the villa after our short trips to the supermarket. The Aldi and Lidl in Albufeira are excellent.

Lovely villa, well thought out and perfect for families/groups. We are a family of 6, with 4 kids ages ranging from 18 months to 14. The owners were extremely helpful and have a great housekeeping team on hand. The location is perfect, with beaches, towns & nightlife 5 mins by car, as well as a great local restaurant in walking distance. This is the first place that we would all happily return to. I would definitely recommend you stay here.

We stayed here for 2 weeks in August. The villa is a lovely building set in lovely large grounds with plenty of shaded areas and an amazing size pool. We found the inside of the villa a great size and accommodated 7 of us really well, enabling us to all have our own space. There is also a roof terrace! However we did find the inside quite dated and the beds were uncomfortable and very creaky. The sand track to the beach is also a good 30 min walk which is not pleasant in 30 plus degree heat. It isn't very easy to follow either as it branches off into several directions. We also felt if there was a welcome book with information in for guests this would be great. The overall villa though is lovely in a quiet spot, the pool man is lovely and checked the pool regularly and the house keeping staff were great too.

We spent a week here at end of July. Villa is in a peaceful and quiet area of Vale Navio. The villa was spacious indoors and had large gardens. The pool was great and externally everything was on one level which was great for my 12 year old son who is a wheelchair user. Unfortunately when we arrived there were some issues :- Firstly the villa was not as clean as we would have expected so we had to contact the management team. The villa had to be cleaned again. Secondly there were some wooden chairs at the dining table that had broken and missing spindles. This meant that they were quite wobbly and unsafe.We didn't use the dining table inside the villa because of the chairs. Thirdly the settee which had a throw over it was torn and ripped. Lastly the mattress, mattress cover and sheets in the downstairs bedroom were stained. Sheets and mattress cover were changed during additional cleaning. The issues above were dealt with quickly once we had reported them, apart from the chairs, but we were not expecting to have to deal with such things on arrival. A previous reviewer had stated that the villa is 'dated' and may require a bit of a re-vamp. This is also our view but irrespective of whether a property is somewhat dated or not you would expect it to be clean and not have broken furniture.

We were a family of 7 including 4 adults and 3 children. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The property had lots of space both inside and outside. The pool is bigger than most rental villas and was positioned excellently for the summer sunshine. The secure walls and gateway made the villa feel very private and secure. Shops, restaurants and the beach are all in close proximity to the property. We would recommend this property and most likely will stay here again. Shay Fitzpatrick Ireland

The villa is brilliant and has an amazing pool. We loved staying here. For feedback, it would be great for the owners to leave a visitors guide of how to use certain things in the villa, light positions and areas that are out of bounds etc. We found that the villa does not have a very recognisable address, so details of taxi companies who know the area really well would have saved us lots of time giving directions to uber drivers until we did! The main downside that we all felt was the beds, really uncomfortable and all of them had a squeak, so if the owners could look at doing something about that, I think the stay would have been perfect! To end on a good point, the owners and housekeepers were really responsive and very friendly, so any issues we had were solved quickly. Really recommend this villa for a chilled and enjoyable holiday!

We will definitely be back. The villa is fully equipped. The pool is in fantastic. In the sun all day. Great family and friends location. Roll on next year 😎😎😎😎🌴🌴🌴

Gorgeous outside space and a fantastic pool, great barbeque area. Inside its needs a bit of an update, a little dated. A really well equiped villa with everything you need. location is very private but accessible when you learn how to get there. Fanvihna restaurant is a five minute walk away, great value, very rustic and Portugese. Cataplana was brill!

Casa Perosa. 30th April to 12th May 2017 – 13 memorable days spent at Casa Perosa a very spacious villa sent in lovely countryside between Villamura and Albufuira. Peace and tranquillity sitting around the pool and no noise from traffic or other villas, yet the beach is only 5 minutes in the car. This was our second visit to Casa Perosa and just consolidated our impressions from last October. Thanks Andi and Jay Van den Hoek for renting us your villa. Peter and Gail Suddaby.

We had a lovely family holiday. The Villa is situated 10 minutes from a local cove. If you don't want to be in a concrete jungle of apartments this Villa and pool will fit the bill. The outside space is stunning with a lovely pool and BBQ area. Do not use Sixt car hire they rip you off. Two couples in front of us had trouble with problems - rip in tyre (280€) or alloy wheel trims are marked (100€) or for us bumper marked, my son would not accept this and they did not charge us. Do print out your own directions to find the place it's rather tricky and the hire company has no maps. We had to ask the caretaker to meet us because we were ill prepared and regretted not printing out directions. The owners are friendly and helpful. It's a stunning place with a good layout.

Absolutely amazing fortnight at casa Perosa. A bit of trouble finding the villa at first (taxi driver took wrong turn!!) but no problems after!!! The photos of the villa made us question whether it was too good to be true, what's the catch we thought?! Well there isn't one!! It truly is amazing!!! 4 fantastic sized bedrooms with ample wardrobe and drawer space, highchair and cot if needed. 3 large bathrooms, all 3 balconies were sun traps. The shutters were a fantastic feature for making us feel secure but also keeping the villa dark through the night! The air-con was a godsend, available in every room, lovely and cool at all times!! The house is well equipped, lots of use gained out of the juicer!!! There's a dishwasher and washing machine available if needed, along with iron and board!! We used the bbq loads!! Plenty of pots, pans and plates available. Large corner sofa and second sofa in the lounge, two outdoor seating areas, one in the sun and the other shaded. Poolside was fantastic, 8 sun loungers, the pool is huge, and nicely warmed (by the sun) by 2pm. Outdoor shower is icy cold though!! There's loads of free space for children to run around, we had hours of fun playing hide and seek with our little boy. Housekeeping service was fantastic and andi (owner) was in easy contact if any problems arose. Our kettle broke and was replaced within the hour!! Olhos de agua as a town is lovely, it's only a short walk via sand track to the main town (20 minutes) but be warned, this is not a buggy friendly route, the quickest buggy route w found took 40 minutes. Worth having car hire definitely. O favinha's is a 5 minute walk away and we absolutely loved going there at night, there's no menus, just ask the owner what food he's bought in that day!! We loved the mixed grills. Portions are massive and very cheap, if you give him 24 hours warning he will buy in whatever you request!! Overall and amazing villa, lovely location and fantastic two weeks!!! Can't wait to return.

Lovely pool and gardens, but villa dirty and in need off some attention. Location good and walking distance to local amenities in Olha D Agua. Not good location if you have walking difficulties.
