We and our friends thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lake front house. The neighborhood was very peaceful and quiet. The backyard lake front was amazing with numerous interesting birds visiting daily. The house is spacious and well designed with a big kitchen and lots of room to enjoy the scenery and entertain friends. The house managers were readily available and helpful. If we ever return, we will certainly consider this house again.

The property met our needs of having a lot of space. Loved having the pool and hot tub for the kids. Property was clean. Close to a lot of restaurants a short drive away. Easy drive to South Padre Island for a day trip.

5th Annual Cousin's Trip

This is the third home we have rented from the same owner. The house was a perfect fit for our big family! We used all seven bedrooms! I was a little worried about one bedroom being located on the third floor. I was afraid it might be hot, but it was actually the coolest room in the house! Everyone loved the pool and hot tub! Sylvia was amazing as usual! She took care of everything and was very easy to get a hold of when there was an issue. Thank you for making our family vacation so amazing!

This beautiful home was a perfect fit for us. We had some family from out of state visiting and this home was able to accommodate all of us. There was 3 families of 5 staying. The pool's temperature was set in advance for us before we checked in, so we were able to use it right away. The point of contact Sylvia did a great job helping us with all the necessary details. We will definitely be back, we loved this home.

It was a great time with family. The house had plenty of room for our group. We utilized the pool daily!

This house was spectacular from the first step through the front door. Lots of gathering spaces, bedrooms were well furnished, bedding was good quality, linen were good quality also. Nice size pool and hot tub. Location was very good, accessible to many things needed for a great vacation. Sylvia, Manager, was fantastic, easy to communicate as in the past when we have rented a house from Owners since 2016. I would recommend this house to rent as the Owner's have it stocked with all that you may need for your stay. The house is large and can accommodate many people comfortable and spaciously.

Property was appropriate size for large family needs. Pool was not clean and air conditioning did not work properly.

Took a short vacation to get away and relax with friends and absolutely have no regrets. The house was absolutely stunning actually even better than the pictures with great hospitality as far as greetings and check ins during the trip with COVID respectful rules👍. Our stay was beautiful. The house is very big and nothing is needed. The house is very clean. but above all, Mrs. Silvia who is in charge of the house, is very attentive and kind. We hope to stay in this house again. Thank you for everything.

Overall, great experience. We traveled to the Valley for my dad's funeral - they accommodated our last minute booking and made the check in process very easy. The property is as advertised - tons of great space - plenty of bedrooms/bathrooms - the pool table and spa/pool were an added bonus! My only "heads up" is that you will encounter some flies/bugs due to the proximity of the Resaca. The house has three levels, but really not an issue if you have someone in your group with mobility issues as there is a bedroom/bath on the first level.

The property is great. The rooms are nice and can be quite separate so you can be alone or join in with others. The kitchen layout is fun and very socially set up! The pool is a perfect hot tub pool, you get heated up and then swim from one end to the other steps on both ends of the pool and the deep part is in the middle; it makes a perfect cool dip! The towels are thick the hairdryers are quality! If the reverse osmosis water system worked it would be absolutely perfect. It was a fabulous stay.

I contacted Sylvia & she called me back right away. I let her know that we were going to have guests coming in from out of town. I got to the house & she gave us a tour. She answered all my questions. It was very spacious. My guests enjoyed fishing. We did forget my daughters quince dress & I let her know. She responded quickly. I totally recommend this house & would rent again.

This property was beautiful!!!! It was enough space to accommodate all my family. Everything was wonderful yhe property manager was very helpful & communicate with us well. I was happy to get to meet the owner of the property as well during our stay. Everyone was nice & friendly during our stay. While out visiting the area a lady asked where we were from because she knew we were visitors due to the town being 1% black. We didnt take offense but it did explain the stairs so dont get offened if natives looking at you unusually. If i had to suggest anything i would suggest to increase the # of pillows on the bed to 4 per bed instead of 2 for your guest, i would also tell the guest to bring DVD's or an Amazon Firestick if you plan to watch TV because channels were limited... other than that everything was great!!! If we come back that way this will be our home to stay in during our Harlingen visit.

The home was perfect for our group, it definitely had plenty of space and was lots of fun for our kids. This is the perfect house to spend quality time with the family!

If we ever need to stay in a big house this is where I will look to book first.

It was great place for our family. We enjoyed the pool area & pool table. I don't know if it was because it's mid July but it was really warm in the master bedroom and 2nd level. Overall is it was a GREAT experience

My family and I stayed there a couple of years ago and this year we were Back Again. It was good. Nice space and great neighborhood. Beautiful pool and jacuzzi. Looking to go Back Again next season.

This is a first class property in a beautiful location. It is quiet and peaceful yet close to everything you might enjoy. Our five senior couples have come back for four years while participating in a local golf tournament. The house provides privacy for each couple and wonderful group space to be together. This year there was a new hot tub to enjoy. The property manager Sylvia is very accommodating and quick to respond to you.

We and our guest enjoyed a great thanksgiving day at the home. The layout, size and accommodations were perfect for our family. We got in a little early but we’re able to meet Sylvia at the home. We were greeted by her and were informed the AC was not working. They worked tirelessly to get it done for us and we were very grateful. We had 9 adults and 5 kids who were more than comfortable. The kids were occupied the entire time; didn’t have to hear we are bored and/or watch kids on devices once! It was perfect! Would definitely recommend!

My family from California visited me in the end of March to celebrate a social event. 9 adults and 2 kids stay in the house. There was enough room for all of them. It's a beautiful home overlooking the arroyo in a peaceful neighborhood. My family took advantage of the swimming pool and the jacuzzi. The house was clean and ready upon arrival. The kitchen was full of plates, silverware, glasses and many cooking pots and pans, everything you need to prepare meals and the gas grill in the back patio was very useful. If you are coffee drinker, a regular coffee pot and a Keurig were available also. Overall, my family a great stay, I would recommend to stay in this place. My point of contact with any issues with the home was very professional and attentive to our needs. She always responded to my phone calls or txt messages. Minor issues are the following: Not enough towels to go around, but the home does have washer and dryer. Most of the bedrooms are upstairs. There were 2 bedrooms downstairs, 1 of the bedrooms has a pull out bed not very comfortable, and the other has a regular bed, comfortable for 1 person. I mention the downstairs area because if you have people that are elderly or have a hard time going up the stairs, they will have to remain downstairs and there is no elevator. The inside temperature of the home was comfortable throughout the stay in the end of March early April. I believe the thermostat was set at 76F degrees throughout their stay.I cannot rate of how the inside temperature would be in the summer in our Texas heat, maybe something to consider. Overall, I do recommend this house for large parties that want ample space.

We were met promptly and given our instructions without any confusion. When we had issues with the refrigerator, action was taken within a few hours. While we were gone, the caretakers brought in a dorm type refrig for our perishables and a cooler with 2 bags of ice. They met the repairman and actually had the refrig repaired by that evening. The heated pool was enjoyed by all since it was a little cooler than we expected. Thanks - we enjoyed our stay!

We really enjoyed the house and all the space it had. We really enjoyed the heated pool and hot tub. This house is in a very nice quiet neighborhood on a lake. The views were fabulous! It was a wonderful get away!

I had my entire family under one roof for Thanksgiving and it was just amazing. This home was the perfect setting. Everyone had their own room. The pool and hot tub were nice and warm upon our arrival and the kids loved it. The staff were very flexible with our schedule and kindly & promptly responded to text/email. Shopping and food is within minutes. Would recommend to every family out there wanting quality time together!!!
