Die Villa in den Hügeln von Lucca ist wunderschön. Die Zimmer sind grosszügig und stilvoll eingerichtet. Die Sommerküche ist grossartig, ebenso der Swimmingpool mit der grossartigen Gartenanlage. Das ganze Anwesen ist sehr gepflegt. Wir haben eine unvergessliche Woche mit Freunden in der Villa verbracht. Ein grosses Dankeschön an die sehr freundlichen und zuvorkommenden Gastgeber. Die Stühle in der Sommerküche sind zu niedrig für den Tisch. Es fehlt eine Anleitung für den Gebrauch des TV's und wie man die gewünschten Sender findet. Ein kleiner Tisch mit 2 Stühlen unter einem Olivenbaum - das wäre grossartig.

Villa Clara was for us, absolute perfection. The villa is decorated beautifully and perfectly clean. The stone walls, high ceilings and air conditioning kept the rooms very cool. The tall windows also gave lovely views of the grounds and countryside. Outside, the gardens were immaculately kept and very pretty. We spent most of our time by the pool and in the amazing outdoor kitchen. Snack, drink, swim, repeat. I would also mention the warm welcome from Luigi, who ensured we had a great time at Villa Clara.

The villa was luxurious and immaculately decorated to a high standard. The pool and outside kitchen area was fabulous. The owner Luigi was so friendly and welcoming and we would not hesitate to recommend this villa to our friends and family. The only thing I would suggest is to have a table and chairs situated outside in the pool area so guests can have coffee/drinks outside, whilst enjoying the beautiful surroundings.

The facilities, cleanliness, pool, furnishings and fixtures As mentioned to Luigi, the only thing we could really think of was something to play music outside (we carry a speaker normally).

Das Haus ist einfach ein Traum. Wir haben einen unvergesslichen Urlaub mit der Großfamilie erleben dürfen. Alles war perfekt vorbereitet. Die Kommunikation war super. Wir können dieses Haus und unsere Gastgeber einfach nur uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

Our party of 6 adults truly enjoyed the beauty of the Villa. The privacy was wonderful as well as the views to the hills with the church. The recommended chef was not available during our stay, however Luigi found another chef for us to use and he was wonderful. There is nothing better than the beauty of the Tuscan region along with the food and friendly Italian people we were able to meet. Thank you again for a great vacation in Tuscany!

A truly 5* villa. It exceeded our expectations in pretty much every way. Luigi, the owner rushed over when the hot water stopped working, nothing was too much trouble and we had the best week ever! We will definitely be going back again.

This was a gorgeous house but the outdoor dining area and pool made our stay! The house was very clean and the details like the tile floors and frescos on the ceiling were absolutely beautiful. The outdoor dining area was amazing for a large group and we spent 90% of our time outside. Although the location is about 20 minutes from downtown Lucca it was great to be in the countryside and there was a great market 8 minutes away. Our only complaint was that the pillows were very flat and hard which made sleeping uncomfortable. This seems to be common in Italy however! Out entire group loved their stay and we would definitely do it again.

Of all the places we visited in Italy, your city and home were the hardest for us to leave. Also want to thank you for the wonderful book you have put together and your suggestions for home cooking lessons and tours. When we come back for a longer stay, we want to do a cooking lesson, for sure!My sister is already talking about bringing her husband back (they live in Switzerland, so it's much closer to visit Italy from there, of course!) We did hire Isa and her husband for a day tour out in the countryside around Lucca. They paid attention to our interests and provided us with a very fun and interesting glimpse into something we never would have seen otherwise. They were wonderful!! The Villa is gorgeous and so well-appointed. We felt like royalty staying there, and loved hanging our was out like real Lucchesi! The city is enchanting...so much to see and do! I was privileged enough to visit Villa Clara not once, but twice in both 2017 and 2018. I must say each precious moment spent in this charming, luxurious villa was a moment I forever hold in my heart! From the delicious food prepared by Cristina and Alice, to the astounding scenery, to the garden, my experiences at Villa Clara were some of the most memorable of my life. Our gracious hosts Sonia and Elisa provided endless opportunities to revel in authentic Italian culture and experiences. If I could go nowhere else in all my travels, I would be quite content to lay around at Villa Clara and luxuriate in the Tuscan sun, food, wine, and culture! The interior of this villa is stunning and completely updated . We lived in the covered outdoor dining and kitchen. The view to the back of property very pretty. The owner is fantastic and made sure we had everything we needed. Only issue was with address and finding the villa. Confirm exact directions and/or meeting place.

Die Villa Clara ist ein Traum. Stilvolle Details und Ambiente, gute Raumaufteilung; waren 8 Personen aus 3 Generationen. Frühstück, Mittagessen und Abendessen wurden ausschließlich in der Outdoor Küche eingenommen. Bis aufs Schlafen und die Mittagsruhe hat sich die ganze Woche nur draußen abgespielt. Klimaanlage in allen Räumen ist so montiert, dass sie nicht direkt aufs Bett bläst. Werden sicher wieder einmal kommen.

Min familie på 10 personer tilbragte en uge i boligen, som virkelig levede op til vore forventninger. Med AC i hovedhuset med soveværelser og et flot udekøkken med et sofa arrangement ved siden af swimmingpoolen. Placeret i en lille by med restaurant midt i Toscana, ikke langt fra Lucca. Alt var i orden og en masse seværdigheder indenfor rækkevidde.. Hvis jeg skulle komme med forslag til forbedringer skulle det være at se på forholdene for håndtering af affald. Man sorterer affaldet, det må man lære at leve med, det gør man også derhjemme. Men med 10 personer skal der være nogle ordentlige containere, som kan rumme mængderne. Containere for plastik og organisk affald er utilstrækkelige!. Alt i alt en super ramme for ferie for en større familie. Tim Christensen

Villa Clara what a beautiful place it is! It far exceeds our expectations. It is an absolute paradise sitting high on a hillside in Tuscany. The vistas from its many terraces and poolside are spectacular! The site pics gave us only a hint of the beauty. We enjoyed the local restaurants, wine, most of all, the friendly people. Your GPS was so helpful and all we had to do after a long day was touch “home” on the screen and it brought us there safely. We saw and experienced Tuscany at its best. Just wanted to say thank-you again for a wonderful week at Villa Clara.
