Stayed here for my sister’s hen party. Lovely spacious clean villa. There were 26 of us and we had plenty of space. Jim was so helpful throughout with the planning. Villa very close to new town. We used uber and would range from €5-8 to new and old town. Large supermarket less than a 5minute walk and loads small restaurants near by. Highly recommend.

The Villa was lovely, great location near shops and the town. Jim was fantastic - very helpful and great at communicating, the check in/out process was easy and were very lucky to be able to check in early and check out late which suited our flight times. Would definitely be back!

We had an excellent stay and the House is perfect for bigger groups. We as a family enjoyed every evening at the fireplace to heat our environment. The outdoor experience, such as BBQ and the Pool were the perfect match for our intention.

We had a good holiday here but the villa really put a damper on it. Excuse the pun! We had planned our rooms so that everyone would have their own space either as couples or singles and that wasn’t to be or even addressed. ✅ Jim was superb throughout the booking process over a few years due to covid! He was efficient and answered all questions quickly and cohesively. Booking through him was easy and we would definitely use him and VRBO again. ✅ the location was great. The beach is a short walk away. There’s a lovely cafe / restaurant on the beach and there’s water sport options too. ✅ supermarket facilities and options are plentiful all a short dusyance away - Aldi, Intermarche and Apolonia. Some walkable, mostly short car ride. ✅ Bin facilities were a 10 minute walk or quick drive away. ✅ the bed rooms were all good in size with excellent wardrobe spaces, good furniture and comfortable beds. ✅ The bathrooms were lovely. Large showers and a lovely finish to them. ✅ The inside living area was great - spacious, sofas were comfy and the table was big. ✅ the outside eating area was good. The BBQ was big and easy to use. (However the table only just fit us - a party of 19 - so if the house was full I’d question where everyone could sit) ✅ getting Ubers was super easy. Cons. ❌ the four en-suite bedrooms in the basement could not be slept in / used. There was evidence of a flood and the smell of damp was very pronounced and unpleasant. It made the rooms uninh

Fantastic villa, which accommodated 36 in our group for the family holiday. (4 months to 50's yrs). Jim was exceptional with his communication and organisation leading up to the trip. He made sure everything was in place and we were well informed with the local amenities. The villa was huge and provided everything we required from cots, high chairs to extra fold out beds and bath towels. The air conditioning in the bedrooms was great and well needed. All ages loved the pool and games room which kept the fun going all week. Location is great as there are plenty of restaurants and bars, beaches and supermarkets within walking distance. Both the old town and new strip were a short taxi ride away - uber or tuc tuc highly recommended. I would certainly recommend Qunita do Carmo for families and hope to return again.

The property was perfect for our group of 22 people aged 6 months to 70 years. Plenty of bedroms and bathrooms with high standard, and fantastic swimming pool and outdoor area. A short walk to a nice beach gave nice opportuneties for everyone. All meals were talen on the terrace.

Had my stag do here with 23 of us and still plenty of space but have to say was unbelievable. Villa was even better than the photo's. Had to get taxi to strip and old town because of distance but only 5/10 mins away so no big deal. Jim was absolutely brilliant from booking up to when we arrived he sorted all our transfers. Second time gone through Jim for a villa after last year for a stag do and will be going through him again next year when we are back.

Cannot fault the whole experience with Jim, from booking to helping with a private chef, dj and transfers no question asked was always responded to immediately. The villa itself is amazing! Clean, today, modern and alot bigger in real life then it looks in the pictures. There was a group of 23 of us and there was plenty of space and left over beds could of easily had more in our group. Overall my whole experience is 10/10 thank you so much from all of the group at Sophie’s hen do

Was an amazing stay, brilliant communication, electric tripped in the kitchen & they were there to help within 15 minutes. Only downside is that there is quite a lot of mould in the basement rooms. Other than that was an amazing villa. Great location & great communication. Would stay again.

Amazing villa, great location !

I booked this villa for my friend's hen do and it absolutely blew us away. Great location, amazing space, each of the bedrooms are pretty equal in size. If you have people that want to be further from the communal areas, this is easily done. It was amazing, couldn't fault it. Jim was incredibly helpful with our pre-arrival arragements, organised our drivers for us (and we were a group of 22 so it was a lot!) Loved it, would absolutely book it again!

Brilliant stay in the villa for the weekend. Spacious, clean and well maintained. Great location! Everything’s we booked at the recommendation of the owner was 10/10 Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their stay here.

Considering the process took just short of 3yrs due to covid everything went pretty smoothly. Communication was excellent and nothing too much trouble

We loved our stay in the house in Albufeira ! Big house with many rooms, able to fit all of us in different rooms (23 people). Clean house and nice swimming pool with nice seats around the pool. Great location, 15min from a beach, 35min to one of the most beautiful beach of algarve. Amazing venues no complaints from neighbors. We all had a great time, Thank you very much

We had 14 of us for a friends stag do and we all had a great time! Villa was great with pool, pool table, table tennis! The communication with Jim was great and he organised the airport transfer and a huge shop so we had everything we needed on arrival! Would definitely recommend this place!

The Villa is in a great location, walking distance to local restaurants, the market and the beach. There were 18 of us and plenty of room to all sit and have a great meal together or lounge around the pool. The Villa is decorated nicely, and I had great communication with the owner Jim prior to our arrival. We had read the reviews about break-ins and were extremely cautious about lowering all the shutters when no one was home and every night. The first night we caught a male looking over the fence that appeared to be recording but he was chased off quickly and never seen again. Possibly just a drunk passing by. It is true not all of the sliding doors lock which was a concern, especially for our older family members. The only problem wasn’t so much the cleanliness but the upkeep in the villa. Several things were broken. There was mold on the wall of the downstairs bedroom all the way to the left, as well as a musty or sewer smell in that room and the one next to it. One of the guest opened a window in the living room above my moms chair and the whole window fell out almost hitting her. Two of the bedroom’s downstairs didn’t have power so we called the property caretaker who quickly answered and said maintenance would be by in the morning but no one ever showed. We did some switching around so the guest with a sleep apnea machine would have power in their room. The others had to charge their devices up stairs for the remainder of their stay. It was a shame to see such a beautiful home in need of a list of repairs but it didn’t truly lesson our experience and the time spent with family. Don’t forget like we did and request the pool be heated. It’s a daily rate but worth it, to some it was too cold to swim in June. The house really is ideal for large groups and would return to this area again.

Leading up to the stay, communication with Jim was excellent. When we arrived an employee of theirs met us to let us into the villa and showed us the basics (except how to set the alarm, hmm). Our second night, we got robbed. It was obvious the people had done it before as they knew exactly how to get in, which doors didn’t lock and how to exit as if nothing had happened. When messaging Jim that night, I received not reply. And even 2 weeks later, still no reply. Sounds suspicious doesn’t it. Speaking to a group renting the villa next door, they also had an attempted break in, however a few of them were still in the house and as soon as they were spotted they ran off. The only other issue was that the hot water lasted for just over 3 showers. Not ideal when you have 30 people. Overall the villa was great for a group of 30, however the break in and how effortless it seemed to be for them would prevent me from booking this villa again.

We've rented this (and the nearby) villa for a business trip last week. It was amazing! Both villas are very modern and clean. Everything was as described and both villas were very spacious. In particular, I'd like to point out that contact with Jim is very good and he is 100% trying to accommodate as much as possible. For instance, he was able to arrange airport transfers for us and had a lot of suggestions for things in the area. I've read something here in the reviews about vermins, but that must have been some time ago as all areas (including the ones in the basement) were very clean. Only tips / feedback I have: - The wifi is fine (coverage is good) but its not very fast. This was discussed ahead but it would still be a tip to improve. If you rely on internet, you can get some 4G - Wifi modules from portugalinternet, which helped us out a lot! - Water pressure is limited, if you are showering all together there won't be alot of pressure. Probably spread out over the day :)

We went on a workation for 9 days with our company and really enjoyed our time. Even with 24 people colleagues in the house, we felt there was enough space to work the whole day through. The wifi connection wasn't stable/strong enough for us (we're all digital marketers), but this is something we discussed up front and they were very transparent about this so we made sure we had enough data on our smartphones. Lots of storage space, well-equiped bedrooms and bathrooms, nice and large swimming pool. Extra nice-to-haves for the villa would be: beach towels (next to the already offered bathroom towel and hand towel per person), a small bin in each bedroom, a shower mat/towel to keep the floor dry in the bathroom. Also some bottled water on arrival day would be great! Little touches as you can see, so everything was already quite good :) Overall a very positive experience!

We were a group of 25 people, and had sooo much room for all of us. Great living room, with sound system, barbecue area, enough outside space to do group workouts. Spacious kitchen, enough chairs for everyone, comfy beds and sunbeds too. Super close to beaches, restaurants, cafes, supermarket. Only points to take into account is that the downstairs floor is a bit more humid and there is a road on the back of the house with cars circulating during the day (so a bit noisy sometimes) - but really that’s just being picky! Had a great time at Quinta de Carmo, Jim was very responsive, and looking forward to return next year.

We are just back from three days away in the villa and we couldn't have asked for more. 17 ladies had almost one bedroom each. There was so much space for everyone. The way everything is set up, was perfect. We had taxis arranged for us whenever we needed. The villa was completely spotless and almost brand new. So much storage and very well equipped. We have just come home from our October 2019 holiday. This is an amazing villa, plenty of space for the very large family. Weather was good. I paid extra for the pool to be heated which was a god send. Children and adults got their Monies Worth of fun . We did have a problem with everyone's eyes becoming ver y red and sore. The manager came promptly when I rang him. Nice quiet area, restaurants whitin a few minutes walk as is the supermarket.,beach good 10/15 minute walk , access a bit tricky with a pram as a lot of steps but I managed to go down using only the back wheels in the pram carried it on the way back. Stunning rugged landscape around the beach. Transfers people were very accommodating with the complexaties of multiple different airport runs. A brilliant break away. Our 9 days went too quickly. X

17 of us stayed here for 6 nights for a celebration. The place is so well kitted out clean and spacious. Pool area got a lot of use. Tv and music equipment excellent and there is even a pool table and table tennis in the basement. Jim the property manager was a pleasure to deal with and made sure our trip went very smoothly. Will definitely come back here very soon. Book it you will not be disappointed. Restaurants and shops 5 mins walk so easy and handy if you need supplies

A lovely villa perfect for a girlie group away. Jim was so helpful with the booking from beginning to end. His recommendations really made our trip especially the chefs we hired the first evening. You don’t need to hire a car as bars/restaurants and the beach in walking distance. We hope to return!

From the beginning the communication was excellent with Jim, who answered all my questions and queries. The villa itself was excellent, we were a group of 19 with ages range 3-75. We did not feel like we were on top of each other. With plenty of seating and space. The rooms were all of similar sizes and bathrooms/en suites were in excellent condition. The outside area and pool was excellent and we arranged for the pool to be heated which was to a perfect temperature. We contacted several times Miguel at the location for a travel cot and buggy and hear were brought promptly to the property. They also arranged taxis each day to take us to different locations again through Miguel which was done swiftly. The only slight negative was there was a slight damp smell on the basement. Would highly recommend this villa. We all had a great time.

Our stay at this beautiful villa was all we hoped it would be. Everyone in our family group of 28 from the very youngest to the eldest had a great time. The pool and the villa were of a very high standard. I would recommend this villa for any large group we just had an amazing time.
