really close to the sea and to a good caffè place

at 5:30am the music in temple starts and it’s almost impossible to sleep

Location of the stay was nice, restaurants and beach was accessible easily.

Hot water and was not available. Drinking water didn't look good.

It is close to a temple because of that a lot of noise early in the morning. No Air conditioner.

The balcony, the hospitality, and the possibility to ask for anything. All round it was just very nice.

The temple (somewhere in the neighborhood) playing music at 5.30 in the morning. It was okay but it woke us all up every day. It's not way to loud though.

The rooms were clean. The host was cooperative.

Due to humidity Air conditioning is must which we missed.

Homestay run by lovely, friendly family. Abdul the son speaks very good English and will help wherever possible. Rooms a bit small and basic for price (800rps per night) but nice 1st floor veranda at front of Homestay to sit, chill, read a book and watch the world go by. Abdul helped book 4hr sunrise kayak trip which was amazing and definitely recommended. Also helped book overnight river boat trip.... Not so good and not recommended.

Don't do boat trip!!! One cabin (bedroom) boat is lovely with own chef and captain but that's about it. Literally hundreds (no lie) of other boats on river & lake all heading in same direction. Theres speedboats racing between all these boats too making it worse. You follow the masses of boats for 2hrs, which is like a boat motorway. No peaceful, relaxing backwater cruise, just hundreds upon hundreds of boats as far as the eye can see, all going the same direction. Many have drunk Indian men on boat trips blasting out music. You moor up for 2hrs for lunch next rice field (no good views) you then rejoin the hundred boat Highway back to where you started!! Got asked by chef if I wanted to buy my own tiger prawns for dinner at price of 1500rps!!! (already paid 9000rps for trip) Set off again for hour or so (following the masses again) and moored up for night in god awful spot next to building yard making houseboats!!! Woke up in the morning with mine & wife's bodies covered in bed bug bites. Gross. Back on river again at 7.30am (along with every other houseboat on river) for 9am finish. And to top it all off, the money we paid for boat trip didn't include tuk tuk back to Homestay where our bags were being kept. Truly was a waste of money. DON'T DO IT.

Peaceful and calm amongst small streets, property is not beach facing but it is one street behind and is walkable.

I liked the location, near the beach!

I didn’t like the beds because there was just the mattress cover and a tick sheets, uncomfortable pillows, and in the bathroom there was no toilet paper

clean rooms and friendly, helpful staff. 2 mins walk to beach :)
