Beautiful property, very comfortable.

This place was fantastic!

This is the second year in a row that I and my friends have stayed in this property and it continues to be everything we could want and need- and more! From the ease of booking- to the detailed communication with the owners- it could not have been simpler. This is a "HOME"- as opposed to a rental property. It is well appointed and has literally everything you could need in one place. It is extremely spacious- amazing views and so many amenities! Every guest was very comfortable in each bedroom- the kitchen has all that you could need and there was plenty of space for folks to gather together- or meet in small groups around the house. It's a wonderful home and we are grateful every year when we can return!

Breathtaking views and excellently appointed home in the mountains. Remote, peaceful, quiet, accessible and surprisingly close to both Highlands, NC and Dillard, GA for restaurants and shopping. Our family and friend were very impressed with the home and the grounds. The online pictures do not do justice to the quality of this home. It was far more luxurious and appealing than the pictures showed. We would strongly recommend this home to anyone that wants peace, quiet, amazing views and a well appointed kitchen and outdoor space.

The house is fabulous and the views even better! Claudia is a wonderful hostess! We have rented this house 5 times and never been disappointed. We will be back next year!

We absolutely loved our time in your beautiful home! Everything was better than we could imagine. Very clean and organized. View was spectacular. Hot tub was perfectly clean and ready for use with an amazing view while relaxing. Beds and bedding were so comfortable and cozy, slept great! Fabulous water pressure in the showers. Kitchen was so well stocked with all equipment needed for a feast, and there was an extra fridge in the laundry room. Property and grounds very well maintained. Incredible hiking just down the street. Centrally located in between Highlands NC and Clayton GA. Spent a day on beautiful Lake Burton, and toured the Cashiers designer show house. It really is one of my favorite homes that we have ever stayed at in the area. Thank you so much for sharing with us!!!

This was the most beautiful home with an incredible 180 degree view. Spent almost all of our time on the back deck! The interior was perfectly laid out, privacy for everyone. My husband especially enjoyed the steam shower. Highly recommend!

I can’t say enough about this beautiful home just 20 mins from Highland, NC.! Seeing the pics online I could tell it was going to be a great place but pictures can’t convey how incredible it really is. 10 Stars!!!! To use every adjective I can think of; Beautiful decor, wonderful beds, gorgeous huge living spaces, fantastic kitchen, all the bathrooms so beautiful clean and modern, fabulous dining, well supplied and very organized! ….. then there are the Unbelievable views from the porches! My kids loved the game room, the closet with games and puzzles, and the very clean hot tub. I’ve stayed in a lot of VRBOs that have been a bit deceiving from photos online, but pictures can’t begin to show how perfectly Wonderful this home is inside and out! I hope to visit there again soon!

We were attending a friend's birthday celebration and wanted to be walking distance from their house. This is no small feat. This property fit the bill perfectly. The view from the porch is fantastic. The beds are comfortable and the property is very well-maintained. It's really close to beautiful hiking as well. Great stay!

Everything was wonderful Great location and property

We had the most wonderful time staying at this property for spring break. Plenty of space for 3 families with children and dogs. The most well equipped rental we have stayed in, with literally nothing missing as far as kitchen appliances/utensils, linens, games, etc. Claudia was very responsive with any questions that came up. The home is beautiful and you cannot beat the view! We will return to this property in the future.

The home literally has everything you need. It was absolutely beautiful and the landscaping could not have been nicer. We brought our dogs who fit in nicely and we really felt at home. The fireplace was wonderful and we were able to cook fantastic meals in the awesome kitchen. the beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms were so nice. All the blankets and lenins were as good as a 5 star hotel. We definetly will be making a return visit

We had a terrific time celebrating my 70th birthday. Jim and Claudia were wonderful and their house is amazing. It has anything and everything anyone could want. The view is outstanding with a beautiful sunrise. We loved snow tubing and hiking and we were close to it all. We will definitely be back!!

We had a wonderful time staying at this location. The house was perfect and so clean. The owners were very sweet and so kind. Claudia responded quickly to any text that I might have and gave some tips about the area including hiking locations. We have deemed this our favorite mountain location and look forward to coming again.

The pictures are accurate, but they don't do this property justice! It's beautiful; the sunrises are fantastic; very spacious for our 10 people (ages 15 - 77) and 2 dogs; the kitchen is stocked better than any house we have rented; the location and neighborhood are great; the game closet has a great selection; the game room was enjoyed by all; I just can't say enough about this amazing place! There was a beautiful Christmas tree that topped off this perfect Christmas Mountain House! A huge thank you to the sweetest owners, they are wonderful to work with! Thank you for sharing this amazing home with us! We also enjoyed Highlands Outpost - definitely plan to take the kids (even the grown ones)! Check out their website - there's something to do there year around!

When you find a home on the internet- you still have questions and hope it lives up to your expectations. But how often does a property exceed every expectation and delight you at every turn? This one does!!! From start to finish- the home owner was incredibly helpful and responsive to every question- making us feel at ease. The property is as beautiful as pictured - with incredible views and luxurious finishes and comfortable appointments at every turn. What we all found most impressive is that everything you might every need was included in the home. From extra pillows and linens- to a fully appointed kitchen- to games - technology and on and on. You want it- chances are- it's there. You worry that you might need to pack extra or bring things the host might not have thought of? FORGET IT! They have it all taken care of for you! My friends and I were blown away by our stay and are already planning to return - but for more days- just to enjoy all this home has to offer. THANK YOU!

This is by far the nicest and most well appointed house we have ever stayed in and the view from the gorgeous decks is breathtaking! This is our second stay for our family of 6 adults, 2 children and 2 dogs and it is absolutely perfect for all our needs! The area surrounding this home is beautiful with places to hike and go on lovely walks with a short drive to the Highlands for a fun day trip! However just being at this property is a vacation in itself. Beautiful stone fireplace, multiple decks with comfy furniture, a hot tub and outdoor heaters when it’s chilly, a gas grill, BGE, a lovely fire pit area and a ping pong table for added family fun! The owners are wonderful to work with, responding promptly to every question and concern. You will not regret renting this home for your stay and we look forward to our next vacation here! Second time to stay here and absolutely loved it! We had three families (6 adults and 4 kids) and everyone had their own space and privacy. Every room is large and has views so there is no resentment over someone getting the best room. So many essentials provided that it made cooking for a crowd easy and pleasant. View off the decks is just incredible. Could not recommend more highly!

This house is exceptional. The views are simply amazing. Communications with the owner were fantastic. The grounds are beautiful. We have used vrbo many times to rent mountain homes and this is the best we have seen! The kitchen has everything you could ask for and the beds are super comfortable.

We enjoyed our second visit to this well appointed, comfortable, beautifully sited house. There was room for everyone. The owners are particularly nice to deal with, very attentive.

Claudia and Jim's home is absolutely stunning and overdelivered in almost every possible way. The views were amazing at all times of the day. The home somehow felt completely isolated even though it was part of a beautiful neighborhood. The house itself was spacious, comfortable, and incredibly well stocked and up to date. We vacationed with 2 families including 5 kids and everyone had a blast. It's just a relatively short 20 minute drive to the Highlands, but plenty of hikes even closer than that. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend staying here.
