The place was spotless and looked much better in real life! Host and receptionist, Ilias, was very accommodating. He was very responsive on WhatsApp and is fluent in English as well, which made communications easy.

Camara Residence is a trustworthy and brilliant place to stay, outside the commotion of the Chania old city but into the picturesque Chalepa area, still inhabited by locals. The place is beautiful, the staff brilliant and the small garden in the front a special treat.

This is a great residence to spend a few days. It might not be a good fit for people loving the busy life of the city centre (c.25' walking distance) but for all the rest of us, it definitely worths the try.

It’s a bit difficult to reach by car but just because Google maps is not updated to the streets that are close. However, it’s just 5 min from the city center by car so very convenient as location

This was a beautiful property close to town, stores and beach. The hosts were fabulous and went out of their way to help us with anything we needed, including sending laundry out to be done.

The ONLY thing that we wished our room had was some storage space in the bathroom.

Quiet place, all clean and new, nice terrace. They clean everyday wich is nice.

30 min walkaway to old town, 20-30 mins to nearest beach. It is best to hire a car. No toothbrush, showergel and shampoo last for 1 day with no replacement, no slippers or bathrobe. Also, tv with channels mainly in greek. If you stay on first level, its disturbing at night when you try to sleep and hear pretty loud other people steps.

Eleni was very helpful and attentive with everything. The villa is nicely restored and it feels great spending some nights in a historic building. Location is very good as you can easily go to Old Town Chania.

The room was clean, with the room cleaning service every day. The place is 10 min by car from The center of Chania.

Just be careful what you book and double check the details of your reservation with Irene. We booked a room with balcony and a kitchen service, but there was neither of them.

This is a stylish residence in the heart of Halepa. Super clean with modern facilities housed in a traditional mansion with nice gardens. The beds are comfortable and the bedding and toiletries are top quality Irini the host is very friendly and helpful and full of local knowledge. There are a number of nice bars and tavernas close by and it's an easy 20 minute walk in to the old town of Hania. Good takeaways too if you want to just chill on the terrace. We would definitely recommend that you to stay here for a chilled place to stay but very close to the hussle and bussle of Hania. Chris & Bev

Creta is an amazing place, but I think our trip was complemented by staying in Camara Residence. After a long day in the beach, the great shower and comfortable bed in our room were a dream come true. Irene made us feel at home and gave us very useful tips! There was always a free parking place, super important in Chania! This was the cleverest decision of our trip!

You could hear the neighbouring rooms a lot. And the room was a little dark.

The apartment as well as the entire building were great. Clean, modern, quite spacious, comfortable all in all it was good value for money.

The only problem was that we had a hard time finding the location by car. The nearby streets are narrow and google maps wasn't helpful at all.

Our arrival at the property was very smooth and so was the collection of our rooms keys. The host and her family were very friendly with us. I would recommend it for a quiet stay as it is not very close to the city center (on foot).

The owner, Irene, was super friendly! The rooms are very nice and modern! It's a little remote but not to far, perfect to escape the hustle and bustle of the city!

It‘s a little noisy if you have loud neighbours. But for sure I would book it again!

We had the best stay in Camara residence. Irene welcomed us with open arms and gave us many really good Insider recommendations. The rooms are beautiful and are cleaned every day! I would highly recommend to stay at Camara and have a nice Holiday around Chania and the Island. We even got a really good Wine from Irenes Father, that he made from his own Geapes! Thanks again!
