We wanted to be in close proximity to our son and daughter-in-law and the location was perfect. The owner was easy to reach and available to answer questions. The house was very comfortable. I would stay there again!

This gorgeous home is comfortable, convenient to downtown and walkable spots to eat, and it’s much bigger than it appears in photos. Elizabeth is warm and friendly, and she is a delightful host. High ceilings, polished and intricate hardwood floors, and comfortable furnishings add to this feeling like home. I will definitely stay here again!

Beautiful bungalow in Virginia highlands. Great communication with owner. House was way bigger than the pictures make it look. The street it is on is pretty busy, but we had no problems parking or walking around. We loved the house and proximity to restaurants and piedmont park. We would definitely stay there again.

I loved this house when I first entered. I noticed the closed in damp smell and I believed that it would go away with opening the doors and turning on the fans. It never did. I think the smell is trapped in the heavy fabric on the upholstered furniture, the thick rugs, and the stale air due to poor ventilation. When I returned home, my clothes smelled of the "dank" (traditional definition) house odor. Once this is fixed, I'd be excited to give this accommodation 5 stars!

Our 2 grown sons and spouses, my husband and I loved this property. Elizabeth was a great host. In town for a family reunion, we got in late/early and check-in was smooth. Had a quick question about the Wi-Fi and she was quick to reply. There was nearby shopping. We had no issues with the home and enjoyed our visit to Atlanta. Thank you.

The house was perfect - very large and comfortable. The location was perfect - close to everything, but in a beautiful residential neighborhood. We loved it!

This house was wonderful. Just has Described. We were here for work and need a house close to great places to eat. And this house was close to some great restaurants. The house was well laid out and was very clean. The neighborhood was safe and walkable. Would definitely stay here again.

It is a nice home, very spacious. Attractive, charming. However, the guest bathroom had mold and the toilet in that room was not bolted to the floor properly, which made it wobbly, and was an issue for my pregnant daughter. A fire alarm chirped all night during our second night. But we still would have considered staying there again because it’s a convenient location. But then after we left and my daughter realized her husband had left his suit, the owner was rude to my daughter about the fact that we left our dog’s poop in the backyard — which, we had paid a $150 pet fee for her to stay, and there was no mention of picking up your dog’s poop. (At our home we don’t; we let it fertilize the ground.) When we texted to say we were disappointed at how she treated my daughter, she let me know that “people with manners know to pick up their dog’s poop.” All of this after working hard to follow all of her rules — start the load of towels in the washer; start the dishwasher, etc. It was a real disappointing experience.

My husband and I and our two adult children and their spouses were in Atlanta for a wedding and enjoyed staying in this home. It is in a fun walkable neighborhood with several restaurants and a grocery store nearby. The home is well-equipped and very spacious.

We had. A good time 4 friends out to see a concert and have a ladies weekend. The house was beautiful and spacious. Will return again!

Can’t say enough good things about this home- highly recommend to anyone staying in Atlanta. Beautiful, clean and comfortable home with all the necessary amenities. The location is the best draw- it’s in the most adorable neighborhood with lots of great bars and restaurants in the area that are walkable. Elizabeth was very quick to respond to any questions and very accommodating. I would absolutely stay here again if I come back to Atlanta for a vacation!

We stayed here while visiting ATL for a family party. Had everything we needed! Great location too.

We traveled to Atlanta to participate in a friend's wedding. After a long day of travel, we arrived at the home shortly after 7 pm to find that it had not been cleaned. The 3 bedrooms had unmade beds, the kitchen had full trash bags that had likely been out since the previous weekend in a warm house creating a very unpleasant smell. I contacted the owner who assured me her cleaning lady had been there. I assured her she had not. In a series of phone exchanges she told me that the cleaning lady had not been there due to a family emergency, but would come now. When I asked if there were extra sets of sheets for the three queen beds she said that there were not. I told her that I didn't think three sets of sheets and the towels could be washed and dried before we would be ready to go to bed. She offered to refund me, but I still needed to find another place to stay. When I did find a hotel, but it cost me significantly more than the VRBO. I also now had over $100 worth of groceries and no refrigerator. When I took a look at my refund I saw that it was not in full. When I contacted the owner she said she could not refund it because it was the fee that VRBO took. I found this terribly unfair and the owner was no help with this. Fortunately, VRBO was helpful. They explained that this fee was there because the reservation had not been canceled. I do not know why the owner did not cancel this nor tell me to cancel it. When I relayed this to VRBO they kindly removed the fee. I

The location was great, the house was clean, and we had the best experience. Plenty of room for a small group of people, and the house had great character!

This VaHi house was perfect for the three of us. The house is even more spacious than the photos and very comfortable for us friends to catch up. Lovely front porch for morning coffee or a late afternoon glass of wine, watching families, couples, dog owners, runners -- this is a safe and walkable neighborhood. Restaurants, shops, and services are a 10 minute walk way. Ponce Market and the Highline 15 minutes. We loved the house and the location. Very easy check in and check out. Previous visitors had kindly left pantry basics. (A note for anyone with mobility issues: both bathrooms requiring stepping up into a tub.)

Well maintained and nicely decorated home. Plenty of room for 5 adults. Walking distance to local restaurants and bars that were great new spots to check out.

We absolutely loved staying here! The front porch was great, making me considering adding on to ours! The house was perfect, and really well put together.

This property is cute and well situated. We actually scrapped our plans for one day and just hung out on the front porch. Easy check in and out. Very large and comfortable.

I stayed in this home with for a work trip with our CPO and CEO from a non-profit in Birmingham, AL. The house was very spacious, clean, and the host was incredibly easy to communicate with. It was the perfect place to relax after our exhausting work days and we will definitely stay again.

Wonderful home is a very active setting. No shortage of restaurants and convent to everything in Atlanta.

We enjoyed staying at the house. Spacious rooms with plenty of room to spread out. Added plus to be able to walk to restaurants and shops on Highland. Great location overall.

The property is lovely and it was very clean. Unfortunately it just did not appear that it was checked before our arrival to see that it was ready for us. The TV in the living room was not connected to the cable and since it is high on the wall it was difficult to see that this was one of the issues. There were batteries missing from the remote controls and a parental lock so viewing was very limited. Under usual circumstances a faulty television may not seem like a big deal, but with the limitations on activity due to COVID, it was more important. I also would have expected coffee for at least the first morning but there was none. Parking was not an issue but we were expecting off street parking which would have been available if the garage door opener worked. I’m sure that if the owner had checked to see that everything was working I would have easily rated this a 5.

This was a spacious, clean home that more than met our expectations for a get-away weekend to the Atlanta area. The best thing was the location - within walking distance to so many shops and restaurants. We had a great stay!

Cool area. Felt safe enough. Cool house. It was spacious, with great character. Very old, which always has a way of feeling a little dirty and fragile. Street parking only. All beds are small, not overly accommodating for grown adults. The real issue was the host though. Extremely rude and unaccommodating. As soon as we got there, a bedroom door handle fell off, when shutting the door behind us. It locked all of our stuff in that room. When we called the host for help she was rude, just wanting to point fingers and even said we were welcome to find another place to stay… It was super weird, as we were only trying to get into the bedroom! She acted inconvenienced and annoyed, as if we wanted to be dealing with that on our vacation. She eventually got a maintenance man out to help. I would revisit that area, but I won’t be revisiting any of this host’s properties!

Everything was great - look no further and book this vrbo. We have stayed in 50 over last many years, and have been a vrbo owner too. The house is big, comfortable, tall ceilings, great charm, comfortable beds, huge kitchen, front porch with seating, and the location is just outside of the crazy downtown.

In the popular Virginia Highlands neighborhood. Very spacious and clean home. Property owners communicated very well and check in was very easy. Will definitely try to book the house again in the future!

We had two dogs and having the back yard space was so nice, although we spent more time walking through the Virginia Highlands neighborhood. Thank you Elizabeth, we will be back!
