We had s Great stay at the House. The pool was Great and refreshing all Day. Self-cleaning and 150 cm ,With Sun all Day. The garden has automatik watering, so all was fresh Every morning. Real Aircon in 1. Floor bedroom. Didnt really need the propelled ‘aircon’. The owner was very kind to show us How things worked. A broken sunchair was replaced when we asked, so Great serviceminded host. Only bad thing would be the trafic, But Thats the Price If you Want the supermarked etc to be close. We would gladly visit again another time.

Das Haus entspricht genau der Beschreibungen. Die Einrichtung ist zweckmäßig. Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber und geräumig. Der Vermieter ist sehr nett. Er war immer zu erreichen und sehr hilfsbereit. Eine Bäckerei und eine Konditorei sind fußläufig gut zu erreichen. In Florenz und Pisa ist man mit dem Auto schnell. Auch in direkter Umgebungen gibt es einige Dinge, die man sich ansehen sollte. Im Haus liegt eine Mappe mit guten Empfehlungen. Der Pool zur Alleinbenutzung ist natürlich super. Wenn man mit sechs Personen reist, wäre etwas mehr an Geschirr und Gläsern gut. Vacanza all'insegna del relax e del mangiar bene

We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday in Tuscany. The property was a perfect location to explore the area. We flew into Pisa and hired a car for the week. Giacomo has prepared an excellent guide with day trip itineraries which we used to visit the delights of Lucca, Pisa, Florence, the coast and surrounding hillside. The villa gave my family - wife, two teenage sons and 11 year old daughter - ideal surroundings to relax in between trips out. Lovely pool, nice garden, table tennis and good local amenities. Would highly recommend, thank you!

Einfaches aber sehr sauberes Objekt. Zu jedem Schlafzimmer gibt es ein Badezimmer. Der Pool ist mit 12 m wirklich sehr groß und ist von allen Seiten sichtgeschützt. Der Vermieter wohnt nebenan, war aber sehr diskret. Wir können das Haus auf alle Fälle weiter empfehlen.

La proprietà rispecchia quanto descritto nell'annuncio., molto pulita e confortevole, un bel giardino fresco, barbecue e piscina privata. Cercavamo un posto dove poter rilassarci, far divertire nostro figlio di 8 anni e poter visitare qualche città d'arte. Tutto perfetto! Ringrazio Giacomo e la sua famiglia per l'accoglienza superba!

De vakantie woning is echt Toscaans, weinig luxe maar prima. Giacomo is een nette gastheer die goed te bereiken is via telefoon of app. We kregen vers fruit en groenten uit eigen tuin wat erg attent was. Toch een aantal aandachtpunten; Er zijn veel muggen aanwezig waardoor we vaak binnen hebben gezeten er is geen airconditioning, alleen maar in 1 slaapkamer boven dus het was best wel warm binnen. De keuken is erg summier ingedeeld, geen vaatwasser, geen koffieapparaat , geen schaaltjes voor soep of yoghurt deze hebben wij zelf aangeschaft en maar 3 wijnglazen voor een 8 persoonshuis. De tuin is prachtig, maar wel erg lang dus het terras om te eten is 30 meter verderop bij het zwembad, aan het huis zelf is wel een terras, maar geen tafel met stoelen om te kunnen eten. De eigenaren wonen naast de accommodatie dus deze en gasten zoals werklui gebruiken wel de tuin om doorheen te lopen. Een tip voor de verhuurder, probeer de werkzaamheden aan de tuin op een ander moment in te plannen want wij hebben wel wat overlast ervaren van het snoeien in de tuin er waren veel mensen in de tuin aanwezig voor het plukken van de vruchten en het bijhouden van de tuin. De elektrische en gemotoriseerd heggenscharen en dergelijken maakten veel geluid. De omgeving is mooi met Lucca en pisa, maar het strand is zeker 45-50 minuten rijden.

Wat hebben we genoten van ons verblijf in Toscane! We hadden een mooi huis tot onze beschikking; groot genoeg voor ons gezin met 3 tieners en opa en oma erbij. De megatuin met het grote zwembad maakt het helemaal af. Heerlijk om te BBQ, zelf bramen te plukken, tafeltennissen, lezen, zonnen, relaxen en vooral genieten met elkaar. Het enige wat iets minder was, waren de vele muggen in de tuin. We zijn behoorlijk lek gestoken. Gelukkig zitten er voor alle ramen wel horren dus in huis hadden we nergens last van. En dan de zeer uitgebreide reisgids van Giacomo. Wat hebben we daar veel aan gehad en wat een leuke uitjes heeft het ons opgeleverd! De tips geven een hele goede leidraad wat er allemaal mogelijk is in de omgeving. We zijn naar o.a. Pisa, Lucca en Cinque Terre geweest. Alles op prima afstand van Cappanori. Door de tip van Giacomo ook bij Canyon Park geweest; klimmen, ziplijnen, suppen en zwemmen. Adembenemend mooi daar! Ook een dagje strand mocht niet ontbreken. Kortom een mooie centrale plek om te verblijven. In de buurt is ook een hele grote supermarkt waar je werkelijk alles kunt kopen. Wij hebben genoten en raden een verblijf in het huis van Giacomo zeker aan!

Hat alles gepasst. Vermieter stand für Fragen immer, aber auch sehr diskret zur Verfügung.

Staying at Giacomo’s was everything we had hoped for. Perfect family home with lots of space, quiet, close to amenities, easy to navigate around area. Giacomo was an incredible host, bringing by fresh fruit from the garden, checking-in to see if everything was going alright, responded quickly to any questions. He even went out of his way to pay a parking ticket we got, very friendly and would highly recommend staying in his home!

My husband, two grown up children and partners went away for a long week. The criteria was three bedrooms, three bathrooms, a swimming pool and to have peace, relaxation and fun! This villa was perfect in every way. Our Host Giacomo could not have been more helpful. He met us when we got to the Villa, showed us around, was at the other end of the phone if we needed him. Organised a wine tour that was fabulous and provided us with fresh lemons, some home made liquer and biscotti biscuits to accompany them. We would highly recommend this villa. It is a short walk away from restaurants, Osterias and bars yet remaining in a quiet relaxing area of Marlia. Everyone enjoyed it and we would love to come again at some point in the future. Veldig rent og pen leilighet/hus med romslige soverom. Deilig med basseng i en flott have. Deilig med en liten spasertur til bakeren for å kjøpe ferskt brød til frokost og morgenbad i det innbydende bassenget. Eier er alltid tilgjengelig for spørsmål og har gode forslag til fine opplevelser. Dette er et sted vi håper vi kan reise tilbake til.

Our host, Giacomo was incredibly helpful - arranging vineyard visits, taxis and recommending events on in the local area in case we fancied them. His list of things to do/see was great too, we visited several of the places mentioned and suggested parking spots etc were useful. He also left us some lovely homegrown tomatoes and wine from near Florence which were much appreciated (and swiftly devoured!). The villa is almost exactly much as pictured, though I think the kitchen has been updated slightly since the photos were taken. The location is great for visiting surrounding areas, we made it to Lucca, Cinque Terre, Pisa and Florence in our short stay. It's also within walking distance of a few restaurants and shops if you don't feel like cooking/driving. There can be a bit of noise from the surrounding roads, but largely it's very peaceful. The villa is well equipped, minus a few basics that we overlooked during our shop (eg bits for doing the washing up). The only thing we would change is maybe having air con in all of the bedrooms as the August heat is something else! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to stay in this area.

Giocomo is a gracious and very considerate host. The house has spacious rooms and the garden & pool are wonderful. A perfect place to stay and discover Tuscany through various day trips.

Villa Cortinella was perfect for my family of five. We loved its traditional Truscan decor and were very impressed by the standard of cleanliness. The large pool, surrounded by a beautiful garden of lemon trees and grapevines was a bonus. But above all, Giacomo, as host, was so attentive to all our needs that we felt Villa Cortinella to be a home from home. Our memories of beautiful Tuscany will be treasured for many years.

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la maison et la cours. Les chambres sont spacieuses, une salle de bain par chambre. Un superbe cours. Après une journée de marche en montagne ou de visite dans les superbes villes de Lucques et Florence, c'était fort relaxant de s'asseoir dans le jardin et se rafraîchir dans la piscine. Tous les jours des légumes frais de leur jardin étaient déposés sur la table. Un vrai bonheur. Toutefois il faudrait que la cuisine soit mieux équipée. À 8 c'était un peu la galère lorsque venait le temps de cuisiner les repas. Giacomo nous a bien renseignés sur les activités à faire dans son coin de pays. Il nous avait donné toutes les informations pour le train de Florence, que je recommande chaudement. La gare est situé en plein centre de la ville, pas de souci de stationnement pour seulement 15€ l'aller- retour ça vaut la peine. Sans hésitation je vous recommande cette location. Isabelle

Our family of 7 had a lovely holiday at Giacomo's house. Each room is very big and there are some facilities for a baby, such as: baby cot, high chair and baby bath tube. Giacomo is very friendly and helpful. We can definitely recommend this place.

We had a truly amazing time at Giacomo's house in Capannori and feel really lucky to have found such a great place to stay at such short notice. We love a lot of space so the house suited us perfectly, the house is spotlessly clean and comfortable and decorated in traditional Tuscan style. We all enjoyed having our own independent suite, it was like having a small hotel to ourselves! The garden is simply beautiful, we were blessed with a week of blue skies so spent lots of time relaxing in and out of the pool amongst the vines, olive and lemon trees and playing “ Boules” under the shade of the trees, it was heavenly ! There's lots of useful touring information and maps available but what we appreciated most of all was Giacomo's help with our excursions, he loves his world and has a wealth of local knowledge, thanks to him we got to see the best places in Tuscany. We explored the Capannori hilltop villages, dined at a great restaurant in the medieval city of Lucca, visited the famous Uffizi art gallery in Florence and went on a day trip to the pretty Cinque Terra villages on the coast. During our week's stay (which was not long enough) Giacomo and his family were so kind to us, bringing us small treasures from their fruit and vegetable garden, we were totally spoilt. We feel we had a taste of the true spirit of Italy here at Villa Cortina, it is quintessentially Italian. A truly great place to stay with the added bonus of making a great friend too, we do hope to see Giacomo again soon and have the opportunity of hosting his trip to the Arcachon Bay in France in the near future. Giacomo is a great host, he helped us in every possible way without being intrusive. We loved the garden overflowing with plants and trees, and the nice view over the mountains, from the huge swimming pool. The house is big, super clean and well equipped, the only thing missing is a TV screen. We will sure come back in the future, thank you!

We had a nice couple of days in this house. Swimming pool was nice and cleaned every day. Friendly housekeeper. We would have appreciated some nice seats to relax in the living room . Kitchen clean. Wifi was not really effective during our stay
