Was supposed to be a big walking weekend but circumstances changed so had dog walks, eating and Netflix. We loved the property and area very handy having Sainsburys so close! No car required all weekend. Thank you!

This was our third stay at this property, it is a lovely flat, with nice walks "from the door" also near shops, with train and bus close by for trips further afield. If it was not ideal we would not keep going there.

Interesting and comfortable property rather let down by steep access and narrow drive. Approach is via one way street and narrow entrance to steep drive to front door and small parking space. Need some manouvering to get longer car into space(skoda superb estate). Windows smaller than expected in kitchen and second bedroom. Both bedroom windows opaque and no Windows were openable. Odd furniture with big grooves in top of tables drawers etc. Main bedroom has finger holes for drawer handles! Suspect apartment is chilly most of year as required heating May/June period. Bathroom radiator rusting. Pretty little garden with small pond; stream at back of garden down very steep bank. Kitchen needs some microwaveable dishes. Entry from front door is into kitchen with bathroom next door then from tiled hall to second bedroom. Down hall to lounge on right and main bedroom on left. Sofas you sink into rather than sit on. Nest thermometer in lounge. Usb hub in main bedroom was excellent. Smart TV with Amazon and Netflix available. Steps from back door gives garden access or via drive from front door. Not wheelchair friendly. Odd hairline cracks in floor tiles throughout.

Beautifully decorated , furnished and immaculately clean,. everything you could possibly need and more is provided for your stay. super comfy beds. fab location close to the high street and small supermarket. i was there for a family wedding , so did not get the chance to use the lovely garden or explore much of the area . will definitely would return the accomation was good for my elderly mother with mobility issues , my 21yr old son was even impressed ! .

This was the perfect home from home stay, travelling with 2 dogs to meet with family. Andy was most helpful from the pre-booking stage to the end, even notifying me that I had left something behind post our trip. The cottage is very well equipped and beautifully clean. We hope to return.

as advertised, good location, reasonably clean and very comfortable, good and detailed instruction prior to arrival, particularly like the fact that face flannel for each person was provided as well as hand towel and bath towels, bed sheet was not iron but it is not a problem for our group but it may bother other groups. Rug in living room could do with freshen up/good cleaning as well as all raditors/doors etc. the place generally feel clean enough for our short stay, we would have gone around and clean where we feel requiring touching up but for short stay, we were ok with it and hence we only give four star for cleaniness.. We have stayed in cleaner places and dirtier places and so we do not want to single this one out. I would say it is 75% in cleaniness. We are a family of 4 adults and one 3 year old toddler and we will come to this accommodation again but probably will allow time for some top up cleaning as I said.

This is a beautiful cottage with lots of room for a family. The garden is stunning and the cottage well furnished. We had a lovely stay. Andy is a great host. He always answered our questions promptly and helpfully. We can highly recommend this property and the hosts!

Really large property that is very close to a beautiful river. Great pub about a mile away and a Sainsbury's nearly next door

Everything you could need was in the house, lovely space, comfortable beds and close to everything you might need in the village.

We have just returned from a fantastic week in Torr Top. The house was immaculately clean and very well equipped. Beds were comfy and we enjoyed spending our evenings in the lounge area. There is lots to do in the area, and we received excellent information from the host on restaurants in the town which we enjoyed visiting. We will definitely book again when next in the area.

Very comfortable apartment

Easy to find ~ key box simple enough. Peaceful and pretty garden. Inside was spotless ! With a home from home feeling . Well equipped kitchen. Cosy lounge with some nice touches. King size comfortable bed. The information folder was helpful. Host Andrew is very quick to respond to any questions via email. House is very close to river with lovely walks. Shrub hub is fab, over looking the Millennium walkway. We would happily stay here again & recommend to family and friends :-)

Very comfortable apartment

First break post lockdown and this couldn’t have been better. A very high standard of accommodation in beautiful setting and peaceful surroundings. We were easily able to access family in Manchester for out door catch-ups. Thank you to the hosts. We really appreciated our stay.

When we arrived, everything was super clean and cozy. A great space for a couple or family. The apartment had everything we needed. Would highly recommend if looking for a place to stay to be close to great walks and views. Andrew was able to accommodate us when we required a last minute place to stay. Fantastic property located a very short walk from the town centre. Lots of great hikes nearby in the peak district.

rented the little cottage at new mills. myself husdand daughter her partner and dog had a great wee stay went on plenty of walks. cottage was well equipped with everything you needed lovely n quite just what we all needed will definitely be returning for longer next time 😊�

Brilliant property and very clean. Communication and information provided was excellent, I would’ve liked to stay longer but booked to late but owner tried to arrange other dates so went above and beyond. Great cottage
