Wonderful home- excellent property manager

Stayed for 3 nights. 6 adults comfortable home close to walking distance to castle and easy access to Hop on hop off transportation. Great local pub next door. Accommodation had everything we needed to prepare breakfast each morning. Loaded hamper of goodies greater us with basics such as coffee and tea and nice sweet treats. Great welcome to Scotland.

We are mixed age friends group and loved staying in this house . It is in a fantastic location with short walk to all attractions. The house is spotless with lovely interior and they have thought of everything you might need to enjoy your stay. We will be back and will recommended.

This property suited us very well for what we wanted. Good sized bedrooms and plenty living accommodation in a central venue. It was easy walking to the various events we had planned. Beds were comfy, nice fluffy towels and good seating areas. The welcome hamper was very nice. Communication with the manager was also good. There was some street noise to be aware of though.

Great location, great facilities however disappointed regards no bathroom on middle bedroom floor and exceptionally small bedroom, felt bathroom could have gone in wasted space on the landing or upstairs sitting room made into twin and small bedroom becomes bathroom

We had a great stay here. The property was as advertised and is a fantastic location. It had many spaces to visit with one another, a great welcome basket and plenty of room. Christine had good communication throughout our stay.

Perfect stay for our son’s wedding in central Edinburgh. Easy to find. Garage for the car nearby-very handy. Enough room for us to have our separate space but come together in the communal areas. Tasteful decoration. Well equipped kitchen. Spotless & comfortable.

We were only able to stay two days, but the location is fabulous close to grocery, restaurants, and our favorite pub “The Oxford”, just a few doors down. Very quiet at night and peaceful for a large city. Royal Mile is a simple 30 min walk. Stay was made even better with a wonderful basket of treats and wine. Showers and Bedrooms were fantastic as well!!! Only great things to say and hope to visit again very soon!!!

Beautiful property - every detail taken care of! Spread out over 3 floors - plenty of room for everyone! We had 6 of us and we all had our own space and plenty of areas to congregate together to talk over plans or play a game with a glass or two of wine! Beds - all comfortable! Showers - wonderful! So many little details throughout the home. Located so conveniently to the heart of Edinburgh - easy for exploring with numerous restaurants, pubs and shopping nearby. Communication with our host was easy and all instructions were clear and concise. Our family so appreciated the welcome basket with goodies, wine and coffee!! Thank you so much for your kindness!!! This home is lovely - beware of the stairs if you have mobility guests - but otherwise everything (and I mean everything) was perfect!!! Hope to visit again one day!

Our family of 5 adults and a teenager all agreed this place was spectacular! The location was perfect, right around the corner from what became our favorite coffee shop, it had easy access to all the things we wanted to see. The home was very comfortable and spacious, there was a room for everyone. The hosts had a welcome basket and stocked the fridge with water, milk and orange juice! Everything was clean, the beds were comfortable, the showers were hot and relaxing. We also loved the washer and dryer! We would absolutely come back if we're ever in town again!

We were a group of 7 and this exquisite town house was perfect. Awaiting us was a lovely welcome basket of goodies. The information they left for groceries stores, appliance use etc. was great. However, it was the town house itself that was just so lovely. It was ideal for morning planning and evening debriefing (with a wee dram or some wine). It is perfectly located with shopping and sites (Dean's Village, Royal Mile ) near by. We had a least one stop at he Oxford (for Ian Rankin fans). We would highly recommend this vrbo and should we find ourselves in Edinburgh again would be delighted to stay here again. Thank you Christine for your excellent communication when we found ourselves in a bit of limbo hiking in the highlands.

If only every property rental could be like this one!! We enjoyed our Edinburgh stay so much that the rest of trip just could not measure up! This home is perfect from top to bottom. The welcome basket of treats and basics stocked in the refrigerator is not only an excellent touch, it also helped to make us feel immediately at home. It’s hard to be away from your comforts but this house enhanced our stay to give us a proper holiday. Edinburgh is a gem, the people are fantastic and if you get a chance to stay at this property, you will definitely want to come back. We can’t wait to visit Scotland again and will only stay here when we return! All bedrooms and bathrooms were spotless, comfortable and spacious. A million thanks for a superb stay!!

It was clean, spacious and extremely comfortable. There was a sumptuous gift basket of local treats which we thoroughly enjoyed. It was the height of luxury: loads of room, the newest of electronics (a blue tooth speaker, large display screens, wireless charging pads) many items of comfort such as dressing tables, top-of-the- line furnishings and accessories that were comfortable and stylish. Thankyou for designing such a lovely place to stay.

This property is the best! Location is perfect - close enough to everything you'd want for the old town Edinburgh experience but far enough away that you don't hear all the noise. The property by far is the most beautiful and well equipped we've stayed in thus far. Be prepared to be wowed. Not enough words to write about how beautiful it was. Don't look at any other properties - this is the PERFECT one.

Extremely roomy and comfortable home in a great location for exploring Edinburgh. Access was simple and communication with the hosts was very good. They also left a very thoughtful gift basket with high quality snacks and drinks. The two rooms with king size beds and nice en-suite bathrooms made the stay a joy for the four adults while the two other bedrooms were perfect for the kids. The kitchen/dining area and the two living rooms were also spacious, nicely decorated, and well appointed. We loved our stay here. It should be noted that the home is spread over three floors which was a plus for us, but could be a slight issue if you have mobility issues. We would not hesitate to stay here again and appreciate the hosts hospitality. Thanks!

I know you probably can do nothing about this however the sea gull’s squawked off & on all night!! Everything else was great!!

The property was in an excellent location for Edinburgh with ample shopping and dining. The Edinburgh Castle and sites are not far away. The rooms and accommodations are on a luxury level. The cleanliness and preparation of the owners and property manager is clear. We would love to come back and stay here again.

This property was just what we needed for our group of 7, ages ranging from 11 to 84. It was very comfortable and convenient. Communication with the property manager was excellent, her response to any of my questions and communications was very prompt. It was a very pleasant experience all the way around.

We had 3 adult couples in our group and selected Mitchell's Townhouse based on the location and excellent reviews. Booking was very easy, the property manager was great to work with, and the house was extremely clean and well stocked. We really appreciated the welcome basket which included wine, chips, chocolate, coffee, etc. Two of the couples were able to use the top floor bedrooms (which were essentially dual master/primary bedrooms). One thing to note is that the ground floor bed was smaller than expected, so the 3rd couple in our group had one spouse sleep in the ground floor bedroom and one spouse sleep in the twin bedroom on the main level. There is not a bathroom on the main level, so the person sleeping in the twin room needed to walk up/down the spiral staircase to access a toilet/shower. The house was lovely and the location was ideal, so it was not a major issue, but I just wanted to share since we were envisioning the Townhouse to be able to easily sleep 3 adult couples. Thank you for hosting us and for a wonderful stay! We would definitely recommend this property to others.
