We have stayed here many times! The property is well maintained and the owners are responsive! It’s a great place to stay!

The property was very clean and had everything you need to have a comfortable stay. The kitchen was sufficiently stocked and included some spices. The property is in walking distance to downtown Bar Harbor and you can walk to the grocery store. The bed was comfortable and the seating on the front porch was great for reading, knitting, and enjoying a drink of wine or ice tea. There was a nice selection of games.

We enjoyed our 2-week stay in this spacious one-bedroom apartment! Clean, well-outfitted, a short walk to everything Bar Harbor has to offer (ex: <1 block to grocery store) and a few minutes drive away from 4 ways to enter Acadia (important depending upon where one wants to go in the Park to avoid traffic). Having a second 'living room' was very handy - allowed for Zoom calls and working in privacy. We had 1 question upon arrival and Doug answered within minutes - question resolved! We would definitely stay there again!!!

Could not be a more convenient location. Minutes walk from restaurants, shopping, as well as the walk to Bar Island. Wonderful apartment to rent. Love this place!

The location could not be better and the amenities were fantastic. Worked great to explore all of Acadia and shop/eat our way through Bar Harbor. Excellent.

The best VRBO site I have rented. I recommend more TVs. Toiletries would also help. Two thumbs up to our hosts.

This house was way more than I expected! Everything was so cute! Many games offered and my husband beat me twice at scrabble! We were able to walk to almost everything we wanted to do! Amazing how close to Acadia national park, yet in the heart of bar harbor! I most definitely recommend this get away house to anyone visiting the area!! Thank you so much!

Convenient to everything

We have stayed so many times at this lovely property it has become our home away from home. It’s close to everything and only a few miles to Acadia National Park .

The house was very clean and well stocked with all essentials. The owner was so nice and easy to chat with when needed. The best location in Bar Harbor with easy walking access to all downtown has to offer - restaurants and shops, the grocery store, Bar Island and the harbor. Very convenient to drive to Acadia trailheads. Absolutely can’t beat having the dedicated driveway spot as it seemed like it would be pretty difficult to find street parking. We hope to come back soon, what an amazing vacation!

Lovely place with great amenities, very clean, and stylish decor. It was a great location for walking downtown Bar Harbor.. Owners were quick to respond to messages and requests….We’ll be back for sure!

Very comfortable apartment, well stocked kitchen (including a much appreciated bag of Starbuck's Coffee) and bathroom (plenty of towels and t.p., bug spray, first aid kit). Quiet neighborhood only a few blocks from Main St and the harbor, grocery store just around the corner.

Great location just done the street from the sand bar and main street.

This apartment is located just off Cottage Street which is part of the Bar Harbor shopping and dining area, and just a few blocks from the wharf. It is 5 minutes from the entrance to the park. The kitchen is well stocked and the furnishings are comfortable. There are 3 units in the house and our friends stayed in an adjoining unit. That gave us both plenty of privacy while making joint ventures convenient. We would stay here again.

The location can’t be beat! It is literally steps to downtown…and to the grocery store, which is highly convenient. The apartment is gorgeous and squeaky clean! We especially appreciated the grill, the lobster pot and the washer/dryer. Each late afternoon we enjoyed a cocktail and people watching on the front porch. I miss the cool breezes already!

Beautiful location in the center of Bar Harbor. Near store and short walk to stores/restaurants. Hosts very responsive to questions or issues. Hope to return!

Kim and Doug's apartment was perfect for our needs - centrally located, immaculate, well stocked, and spacious. The pictures do not do the unit justice. I suffered a leg injury and was relegated to a knee scooter, making getting around problematic but the house's location made it easy - only 1/2 mile from virtually all of downtown BH. We were convenient to Acadia as well. Check in was a breeze, communication was almost immediate, and they were very flexible and accommodating to our changing needs pre-trip. We highly recommend this unit and its hosts. We would definitely stay here again!

This apartment was ideal for my wife and I for our week in Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. The place is very clean and spacious, with furniture and appliances that are virtually all new. Access to the apartment is easy, with a dedicated parking space in the back that is off the street, and the hosts, Kim & Doug, were available and responsive. There is a temperature-controlled thermostat for warmth as well as ceiling fans, air conditioners, and easy-open windows to stay cool. Guests are provided with everything they need to prepare meals, including spices. The apartment's location also made it easy to enjoy hiking, biking, and restaurants throughout Acadia -- near Bar Harbor, Southwest Harbor, and Northeast Harbor. What a wonderful place to stay!

This property is perfect! My wife and I spent seven nights in late May. The apartment was spacious, updated and very clean. The hosts have the apartment very well stocked with cooking utensils, spices and coffee. The full size washer and dryer were very helpful, as we were spending two weeks traveling in Maine. The apartment is within walking distance to grocery shopping, gift shops and restaurants. The location is very important, as parking in Bar Harbor can be a challenge. Had a wonderful time in Bar Harbor staying at this location. Apartment was a perfect size for two of us. Worked out perfect as a two bedroom when you use the room with the couch bed as a separate bedroom. Place was clean, stocked well, and any communication with the owners was answered quickly. Location is just blocks from Main Street making everything easy to walk to. My only complaint was the TV/internet situation. The TV was a Roku streaming TV only. If you wanted cable you would have had to use an app to sign in on your own cable TV account. I had my account hacked from doing this while on vacation elsewhere so didnt like this only option for cable. Also, the internet was incredibly slow and therefore streaming Netflix etc did not always go well. Most apps you watched froze - making it difficult to use the TV or internet. If streaming TV is the only option, the internet speed needs to be better. Maybe it was just an issue the week we were there and not normal? We were staying during beginning of November when lots of things closed down for the season, so this means we were at the apartment most early evenings and having no good TV made it a little challenging. But overall, we enjoyed our stay here and would happily return to stay at this great apartment again.

This beautiful little home is perfect for two and is hidden enough where there is privacy but you are steps always from everything. We cooked ourselves dinner 2 nights of the 4 we stayed in town. The kitchen was stocked with everything you would need. And if not the supermarket was directly across the street. We hope to comeback and have this beautiful home to be available when we do. Great hosts and great property and location!

This place was the cleanest rental we’ve stayed in! That alone stood out to us. The location is PERFECT! Acadia NP Visitors Center was only 2 miles from the house...downtown was a short walking distance. I would definitely stay here again! This was the best vacation we’ve had. If you haven’t been to Maine...GO and stay at this place! You will not regret it! I❤️ME

This was our second stay at Doug and Kim's beautiful apartment. The location is ideal, right in town--a short walk to restaurants, shops and the grocery store. The apartment was spotless with more than enough space for the two of us. It was so nice to have spices, oil, tea etc provided in the fully stocked kitchen. We had a great week and definitely plan to return.

I wanna be selfish with this one, you never want to lose out on the good ones when they seem to always get booked!!! Seriously, this place had it all for a perfect time in Bar Harbor. Everything was there and more. We will definitely put this one the list of places to return to…..
