All of our immediate family (children & grandchildren) attended our weekend celebration with the exception of one grandson who was out of the country. The property was perfect for us. There was plenty of room for everyone to have their own space and yet plenty of room to gather as a group. The group enjoyed the hot tub, the foosball table, the outdoor grill and the beautiful scenery. I don't think we could have chosen a better place for our celebration. The entire family was very pleased with all aspects of the property. Highly recommended!

My entire family (parents, siblings, children and dogs) spent the weekend at this wonderful family home in Galena. The space was so warm and welcoming and allowed for our large group to all eat, visit, and comfortably be together. Each bedroom having an en suite bathroom was such a game-changer in order for each family to have their own space and privacy. The weather was quite cold and snowy, so we were not able to enjoy the outside amenities, but a trip into town and also to the Owner's Club to swim made up for it. We would absolutely stay here again!

This property was a perfect fit for our family group of 9 adults and 1 toddler. The setting is beautiful and the home is spacious and welcoming. I was able to reach the owner easily and quickly with questions. Thank you for a lovely stay in rural Galena!

This house is beautiful and perfect for a larger family! We absolutely loved the rustic (very Galena) feel of the home. Everything was clean and organized- especially the hot tub! Property manager was very responsive and check in was simple, we were even able to get in early! We loved using the fireplace and the kitchen was smaller but was able to handle our cooking for 8 people! Hiking in the area was lovely. We had the SMALLEST of complaints. We wish that real soap dispensers were provided rather than just hotel mini bars of soap. We also had to go out and purchase dish washer detergent because none was provided. We also wish we had an extra roll of paper towels! The only other thing I would note is that you will want to be prepared if you’re bringing a toddler into this home. The stairs to get to the lower level in the house are very steep and the railing around it has wide openings at the bottom that a child could easily slip through. The basement is well furnished and you could certainly just hang out down there! This is no fault of the property owners and did not effect my rating of this home, this is just a note to any families traveling with small children. We absolutely loved staying here and would recommend it and would stay again.

This was perfect for our sibling reunion. Large dining table for us to enjoy meals together. Very peaceful and good communication with the host.

2nd weekend at this lovely home for my friends and me. Lovely house, the fireplace is the main attraction and you cannot beat private bathrooms for each bedroom. Will be back!

We were in Galena for an annual friends/family outing. A few of us have been to Galena before. However, it was a first for all of us to see the fun parade. Lots & lots of people. We wished we could have spent more time at the house. We choose a different destination each year, and everyone had a great weekend—very unique town to visit.

Good amount of open space. Plenty of room for our family. Surprised by steep driveway and steps down to front door. Overall nice property.

5 retired friends traveled to Galena to celebrate life Great accommodations, I did leave a note on the counter about coffee pots - both hardly worked. It took 2 hours to brew a 12 cup pot in the coffeemaker and something is wrong with the one cup brewer But EVERYONE had a great time and the accommodations and location were excellent!

The house was absolutely amazing. The owners were great and very responsive before our trip. The hot tub worked great. They left notes for how to work everything and made sure everything was ready for us upon arrival. It made for a perfect weekend with no stress from when we arrived.

This was the perfect place for our extended family (e.g. kids and grandchildren) to stay and experience all the nice sights and activities that the Galena territory has to offer.

My extended family - Grandparents, adults and kids and a dog - really enjoyed staying here. The house was in a lovely wooded area which felt very private. It was clean and had everything that we needed. Kitchen was well equipped. Hot tub was really nice. The host Tracey was quick to respond to any questions. I would recommended this house to anyone.

This house was the perfect size for our group. It's a bit far from the pool, but was easy to drive to. Drove to the paths by the Lake. Was able to buy extra day passes for the amenities for our guests with no problem.

This spacious house offered great spots for our group to gather - from the deck to the screened porch to the living room, we had comfortable spaces to hang out and catch up. Enjoyed the outdoor pool at the owners club too.

Wonderful home to reunite multiple state family members. Each bedroom with an ensuite was a wonderful plus. Entry stairs was a bit of an adventure for older relatives but once in the home, we enjoyed the open floor plan for visiting.

The location is perfect, quiet cul de sac (I don’t know if I spelled that right) There are things I don’t prefer, like I like a harder bed and the master king was soooooft. But the house is great. Every bedroom has a bathroom which is wonderful. The decks are nice, it’s a quiet location with nearly no traffic and plenty close to the owners club. I would totally stay again

This was a wonderful property for our family. Despite the chilly weather, we had a great experience. Clean home, convenient location, plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms, nicely stocked kitchen, beautiful fireplace, and plenty of privacy. We would love to return!

Wonderful house for an adult family gathering. Well laid out, stocked with cooking utensils, and very comfortable. The parking area could be tricky with large vehicles and the walkway/stairs down to the house can be tricky, but the owner was very upfront about that beforehand. Would book again!

We came in on a day after it snowed. The stairs from parking to the house were a little rough but they were cleaned of snow & salt was put down. The house inside was very bright and big. Beautiful fire place and our guests each had their own bathroom which was great! Really enjoyed our stay.

we traveled here to Galena with a group of 10. We were from several different states. We really enjoyed the home and found, especially that the bedroom arrangements were very fair and uniform. Each bedroom downstairs having its own bathroom was very pleasant and convenient. The upstairs master suite was very spacious. All of the rooms had a pretty decent view of the woods outback. The large dining room table was perfect for meals and for playing games. We particularly loved the fireplace and the tall ceilings with many windows that lead in a lot of light. Overall, this place is fantastic and we will definitely stay here again.

We had a great time during our stay. Everything was perfect for our family ski trip. Would return again.

Owner was appreciative of the information. But problem was not fixed before we left.
