This is our third stay at this property and we love it. We love the location, the property manager is responsive, it's clean, the kitchen is well stocked, and it has everything we look for in a home away from home. We always come and stay for a full week; so, that said, we also look for comfortable beds. Unfortunately, the mattresses in the master bedroom and the upstairs bedroom with the queen bed are in dire need of replacement. There's a deep divot in the middle of the mattress in the master bedroom where you roll to the middle; and a divot on the side of the mattress on the queen size bed so that if you sleep on the wall side, you will roll down to the other side. We will definitely return if the mattresses are replaced.

The house is great, very nice. Sits on a Main Street, currently, there was construction going on. Rooms were nice and spacious. Some of the mattresses were a bit uncomfortable. The Master shower fell a little short, considering how beautiful and big it is, one showerhead and low water pressure. We had to deal with a lot of knats in the house, it turned out there was a lot of dirty water sitting in the dishwasher. The pool was heated, but it was a little chilly for our liking, plus it was super windy outside. Walking distances to the pleasure pier was nice.

The house was great for our family. We were just a short walk to 25th Street to watch the Mardi Gra parades. In-between the parade times, our kids/grandkids swam in the heated pool.

Disappointed. There was street construction so getting into property was difficult. No hot water in shower upstairs ( that meant 7 showering downstairs). Toilet upstairs needed to be replaced (that’s what the manager told us) floors were like a fun house uneven and trip hazards. Doors had air leaks and did nothing to quiet the construction noise.

We had a fantastic long weekend with friends and family in the house. The pool was great. The neighborhood was quite, yet a close walk to restaurants, bars and the beach. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking and everything needed for coffee was stalked. The beds and couches were comfortable

The house was great! Perfect location convenient to the sea wall and the strand. The house was exactly what we needed… everyone had their own room, plenty of bathrooms and space overall. We really enjoyed spending the day in the pool and outdoor seating area! We will keep this one on the list for the future, for sure!

Great house for my best friend her husband and 3 kids and my husband and our 4 kids. Enough room for all of us. Down the street from the beach but we preferred our time at the house pool. We BBQ one night on the grill while relaxing on the deck. Boys were able to play video games on the Xbox. Our girls had their little slumber party in the front room. Something to do for everyone. We all had a great time. Definitely home away from home vibe with washer, dryer and fully equipped kitchen.

Wonderful stay with family. The property was big enough for everyone. The pool was wonderful. We rode our bicycles to the seawall. Very convenient to everything.

The house is set up perfectly for several people. The rooms are a nice size and the beds are comfortable. All the little details were nice. We noticed something new each time we looked. The location was also perfect since we went to the beach and to La Kings on the strand. Both of those as well as Shrimp n Stuff were very close and easy to get to. My only concern was the lack of lighting in the pool at night. There is a light in the pool but it either wasn’t working or we just never figured out how to turn it on. The water was warm but that’s to be expected with a small pool in this heat. Overall, we had a great time and will definitely consider this property in the future.

We had a terrific time hanging out with our grown children and their families. We came down to celebrate my niece who graduated a couple of weeks ago from TAMUG. She and her boyfriend drove over and joined us for a family bbq. We grilled, enjoyed the pool and played games at the large dining table. So much fun. The house was perfect and everyone really enjoyed it. Thank you,, thank you!!

The house was perfect for our family. We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen, watching movies in the living room, and hanging out on the back porch. Pool looked fantastic; the weather meant we couldn’t enjoy it, but it was a lovely view. Excellent communication with owner.

Loved tyelocation, close to the beach, 3 blocks from our favorite souvenir shop and on the same street as our favorite Oyster bar. Plenty of room for my family. The backyard was a amazing. We want to go back as soon as possible.

We had such a good time, this was our first "family" get together. We spent most the time outside on the patio and in the pool. The house was in a great location that we could walk to the beach or walk downtown. We wish we had a couple more days, it was hard to leave.

Our family loved the covered back porch, gas grill, and pool. We spent all of our time outside. There were plenty of beds for everyone to have a place to sleep. The master bedroom faces the street and the bright street lights. The room is lit up bright at night. Bring a sleeping mask. We would definitely stay here again.

Beach Fun
This home was perfect for our family of fourteen. It was very clean, spacious and perfectly located. The pool was an added bonus. We would definitely stay here again.

Family vacation
We've stayed here twice - cute house, great location. Upon our arrival, we found that one propane tank was almost empty and the spare was completely empty (disappointing since we had rented the house for 7 days during the July 4th holiday); the property manager responded quickly but asked us to refill the tanks and reimbursed us. Nice pool and short walk to the beach but bring your own beach/pool towels as the house didn't have any. We brought some beach towels last time but didn't bring any this time because we thought the house had some during our last stay. Overall, we had a great family vacation at Just Beachy.

Family Vacation
We loved staying at this house. The location was great and everyone had their own room. The property managers were very responsive to all questions and concerns that we had about the house. It was so nice having a pool too. My parents, who are elderly, enjoyed sitting on the porch. It was a spacious house and I would stay here again.

Always a Great Stay
We've stayed at this property in the past and it was just as great this year. The house has everything you need and the backyard feels like an oasis. It was the perfect getaway and felt like a real vacation. Would highly recommend for groups or families.

Great Family Vacation House
Excellent vacation house for a large family; plenty of space for the kids and adults; the large dining table easily accommodated the family; the house had all of the amenities required for our stay and we knew we were in a beach house; location in Galveston allowed us to walk to many venues and the beach; and off course the pool - it was great and offered many hours of entertainment for all of us.

Great Location
First impression was the property was that it was a little worn. However on the second morning the owners brought out new cushions, pillows and umbrellas for the deck chairs and pool. Sometimes the small things can make a difference in overall appearance. We really enjoyed our stay! The host as well as owners were very attentive to any concerns and you can't beat the location. You are within walking distance of the beach and Pleasure Pier!

Beautiful Home, Great Location!
I booked this home, for a long weekend, for my son’s wedding. I had relatives coming from Chicago so I had to get something large enough to accommodate 10-12 people. The house was larger than I thought and was just perfect for what we needed. The pool was an amazing bonus. We chilled out by the pool the day after the wedding and grilled hotdogs and hamburgers on the gas grill. The driveway fit a few cars perfectly, but there was ample parking along the wide street in front of the house if you need it. I would definitely book this house again. I reached out a couple of times to the owner and was promptly acknowledged. Great communication. Overall, great stay!

Great location & loved the pool
We loved staying in town instead of farther out on the island. It was a short walk to the beach and the Strand and other historical attractions. Great location and pool!!!!

This was a great place to stay. The location was just far enough away from the tourist area that it was quiet and easy to access. The outdoor space is amazing and we used that quite a bit. The house was clean and comfortable as well as beautifully decorated. Very relaxing!!

Great “Just Beachy” getaway
We had a wonderful time. The kids loved the pool! The extra pool towels were excellent. Pots and pans could be updated but we had everything we needed for a fun Galveston stay. The house is conveniently located and is just a couple minutes to The Strand, beach or Pleasure Pier.
