The house, the beach, the city, the weather…everything was perfect.

While it would be very helpful to remove some of the extra/unnecessary furniture in this house, it is quirky and is great for families. Location is wonderful, management staff is highly organized and communicative.

Enjoyed the quiet neighborhood and proximity to the beach. Just what we were looking for.

Nothing fancy but a nice little beach bungalow. Great location, great price. Provided all of the beach necessities. Owner was great. The only draw back is that the air conditioner had a hard time keeping up with the heat, but it was managable.

We really enjoyed our stay. To our surprise there were beach chairs, umbrellas, body boards and lots of other beach stuff to use. Walk to the beach was easy. Volleyball courts were a plus as you walked onto the beach. House met all our needs as a family of 6. Would recommend.

Great property right next to the beach. Only thing I would recommend they change is adding keypad lock instead of a physical key, that would make beach trips easier

Had a wonderful time at this spacious property. Much closer to the beach than I originally thought. More than enough towels for showers and the beach (we had a group of 8 so I was worried). Tons of beach gear for fun. Nothing bad to say and definitely would recommend.

Everything was as advertised, only recommendation is to possibly have some beach stuff (beach cart with umbrellas, beach chairs, boogie boards, cooler) and some beach bicycles. Other than that we loved the house and location to the beach. Thank you

My family and I felt completely relaxed and at home in this very comfortable house. The walkability to the beach couldn’t be beat, and my grandchildren we so happy with their own bunk apartment!

Property accommodated all of us very well. It was located close to attractions. Though the property was dated it was clean. It was within walking distance to the beach, making it quite convenient.

Nice location and cozy house. Very well appointed, they have everything you will need.

Location and communication with property manager were great. Beds comfy! Only suggestion, the house could use a thorough, deep cleaning and some walls a paint refresh. Otherwise, it was very good.

Dolphin Cottage was the perfect spot for our Vero Beach stay! Close to everything and convenient to the Jackie Robinson facility for our son’s baseball games. The South Beach area was quaint and peaceful. The property had everything you could think of in a home away from home. We absolutely loved our stay!

We loved the location. The beach is one of the nicest in the area.

South beach is just one block away and a very short walk. The beach itself is one of the widest and very family-friendly. The house itself is well stocked with anything you might need and communication with the owners is very quick and easy. One of the great things about the house is it has two separate living areas with complete kitchens and bathrooms. This was very helpful since our daughter had to work remote. And the patio in the back had shade most of the day, which is also a great help during hot weather. In general, the area is very quiet and peaceful. We had a great stay!

the cottage was great for us. we did not realize that it included a separate space (converted garage) which included a bed, full bath, kitchen, and laundry. We love being within walking distance of South Beach.

I can't say enough good things about this property and the rental company. It is about 100 yards to the beach which is gorgeous! The house has 2 separate areas which worked out great for our adult kids. It has bicycles, beach chairs, umbrellas and more. And Angelas respoded quickly to any questions I had. We will be back!

There was a little problem with the cleaning person not coming before we got there but the manager responded right away and got someone to come immediately,than refunded our fee we definitely would stay again.. love being able to communicate our needs and have them taken care of, would definitely stay agy

Have stayed in Vero many times. House was excellent, a little tired but very clean and homely. All facilities.

There are only two things I would fix/work on which would be the ovens and maybe a way to screen the outdoor faucet so you can strip down and get all the sand and seaweed off the body :) Otherwise, house was very comfortable, beds comfortable and plenty of room for family of five with two large dogs. Fenced in yard was great for the dogs!

This property is located very close walking distance to the beach. The property is comfortable and very well stocked. We were a party of five friends and we had plenty to keep us busy and really enjoyed the beautiful beach. The property is close to great shopping and restaurants too. The only problem was the main fridge didn’t close all the way.

This cottage which was very convenient to the beach was very cozy and offered everything that we needed. Highly recommend!

The Property is as described, and well appointed with items you would have at home. All you need to bring are groceries, though I did find a container in the fridge with leftover chicken wings when we arrived. ;) The very short walk to the beach and several restaurants was a bonus. A 10 minute bike ride through lovely neighborhoods gave us more access to shops and eateries. Our only concern was the air-conditioning, which would not drop below 81 degrees during the hottest part of the day. Both living spaces were comfortable and added to the experience. Not all in our group are early risers, so the space made that a non-issue. In all, we really enjoyed our stay, and would visit again!

Cons: This home is dated, built in the 1950's, with an addition added on. It has a smell to it, like someone smoked in it for many years, and it was covered up in paint. I'm allergic to cigarette smoke, so I left FL with a sinus infection. The AC struggled to keep up with the heat, but it was 97 degrees outside. The Pros: This house has lots of comfortable beds, nice beach towels, and everything in the kitchen you need to cook with. We were not having to search for an item, or run to the store to be able to open a can. We appreciated the gas grill in the fenced in back patio area actually had propane so we could use it. It has an outdoor shower for when you get back from the beach, and is SO close to the beach. The beach was is gorgeous and has staffed lifeguards. It is close, about a 3 minute drive, to a cute little strip of stores to shop at and local restaurants. We enjoyed our stay.

I would highly recommend this property. The location was amazing being so close to the beach. Vero was a really nice town as well. It felt like it wasn't a tourist city. The house was set up nice. Even had items we could use at the beach. We usually stay in hotels. After staying here, it felt more like home. You could really relax at this place.

We really enjoyed the quick access to the beach and beach toys in the storage area. Inside had a very old musty smell. We felt it could have been cleaner too, specifically the floors , rugs and bathrooms. It’s the little things that make a big difference. There wasn’t fresh soap for washing hands and one bathroom smelled of urine and had a dirty toilet brush behind it with no holder, just laying there. The outside of the house needs some fixing up too. It just seemed like it was very dated and needed some attention. Overall rating not bad.

The property was clean and all amenities worked. Location was perfect and the side kitchen worked well for the hidden room/cove of the house.

We have stayed in this neighborhood several times and love the location - close to beach and with several restaurants within walking distance. First time at Dolphin Cottage - perfect for 2 couples and our dog, space-wise. We love that it's an established, quiet neighborhood. The backyard is fenced-in with nice shaded patio area.

This was an excellent rental located very close to the beautiful South Beach. The house was nicely decorated, sparkling clean, well-appointed with everything we needed, and very comfortable (beds, sitting areas, etc.). We’ll definitely book again.

The property location is great! Just a few houses from public beach access. It is also in a quiet area with good streets for walks. The kitchen is stocked with a variety of cooking supplies. The beds were comfortable, there were plenty of pillows, bath towels & beach towels. It was nice to have a wagon to pull the kids to the beach. The patio was great for dinner! The house itself is a bit dated & worn down. It could use a really deep clean, fresh coat of paint & bathroom upgrade. The tub was chipped in a few spots & caulk peeling / molded. This wouldn't normally be a big deal but with young kids bathing it was a bit offputting. Most of the lighting is lamps, which isn't a huge deal, it would have just been helpful to be able to flip a switch for overhead lighting with the fans when coming in at night. Overall, for the location, # of beds & cost, this is good value. We would consider renting again solely for the ease of beach access & $$$.
