staff were so so lovely and genuinely lovely! the place was spotless clean and has a really great style. the whole place was always cool with air conditioning which was nice and they location was so close to the center

The staff, specially the owner, helped during all our stay in every need we had. Very nice people and very attentive.

All was perfect. Modern, very clean, new and very tasty designed place. Marije is an excellent host, giving us great tips where to go and what to see. Typical italian breakfast served on the terrace. We strongly recommend this place when visiting Tropea and also the wine tasting at Cantina Masicei with a beautiful view of the sea and sunset.

The photos of the Hibiscus on the balcony (which bloomed every day) and the ocean view from that same balcony, pretty much sum up our experience at B&B Maestrale... beautiful & awesome. Marije is the perfect hostess and does everything possible to ensure that you have a wonderful stay in Tropea. Her restaurant (including personal reservations if you want) and sightseeing recommendations were all perfect and spot-on. Their breakfast offers a wide-variety of local specialities, and the fresh baked breads, croissants, and pastries were all delicious... and Alberta greeted us each morning with a warm and heartfelt "Buongiorno" ...before serving us our espresso and cappuccino ( exactly as we liked them) and prepared us eggs any way we wanted them. Marije and her husband Fran also have a fantastic Bar/Restaurant/Beach at "Lido Tropical" which you should not miss... great beach, wonderful swimming/snorkelling, and outstanding food and drinks for both lunch and dinner (we ate there 3 times and it was excellent each time - ) The 10 minute walk to Centro and 15+ minutes to the beach is a very doable and the location makes it very quiet and restful in the night. Thank you again Marije (and Alberta) for making our wonderful week in Tropea, so special... we're looking forward to coming back soon.

Maraje was very friendly, available and gave us many tips. B&B is new, clean, comfortable and close to the center. Breakfast with a lot of options (salty and sweet). I strongly recommend and I would return for sure.
