Comfort, good AC, good beds, nice hosts and cosy breakfast!

Marita and Alfredo are very nice people and we felt completely comfortable. The room was simple but very clean and the beds comfortable. We enjoyed the breakfast with a view of the beautiful garden, especially for birdwatchers there is a lot to see. If we are again in the area we will definitely stay there again.

Nueva Arenal is a great place to stay - in close proximity to La Fortuna Waterfalls/Arenal Volcano and Tenario Volcano/Celeste falls; great restaurants-Tenajas on Lake Arenal for sunsets; Casa Italia for homemade pasta; Moyas for vibe and pizza. Marita and Alberto are a lovely couple - Alberto from the US speaks English and Spanish/Marita spanish. Room is quaint and comfortable; their back deck is a slice of paradise with orchids and gardenias growing. That's where the traditional Costa Rican Gallo Pinto breakfast is served. They are both a wealth of information! Loved our stay!

Great stay! Clean and comfortable room, lovely breakfast area overlooking a beautifully landscaped property that is enjoyed by so many birds! Our breakfast was delicious, too. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

On the main road, but you would never know what you go to the back patio so many flowers, plants and birds. Marita and Albert are very nice and helpful. breakfast was great too!

Alberto & Marita are wonderful hosts! Food is always great. My sister was with this time & she had excellent gluten-free breakfasts. They are always willing to help & go the extra mile to make sure your stay is wonderful! 👏 😊

Everything was fine.

Marita's place was perfect. She and Alberto are the perfect hosts and made me feel like family. They were welcoming, helpful and genuinely friendly. Their place is walking distance from the beautiful lake and the little town. It is also conveniently located next to a German bakery which has delicious pastries! The highlight is definitely their stunning garden which attracts vibrant coloured birds including hummingbirds and a baby toucan while I was there. It's a tranquil setting and having breakfast watching the birds is an unforgettable experience. I would highly recommend staying here for a peaceful stay.

beautiful garden, wonderful hosts, great street with restaurants along the road and German bakery next door! Marita was so helpful and even did a family wash and dry for me with a very quick turnaround!

We had a 1 night stay at Marita's and it was a good stop off point on our way to Monteverde. Albert and Marita were very friendly and breakfast in the morning was delicious.

Location is good parking was a bit challenging upon arrival.

Excellent breakfast with an amazing vieuw on the garden. Very helpfull and friendly host Marita and Alberto. So helpfull to show and give information about possibillitys in the area. It's a very nice place to stay!!

3 room b&B could be noisy, but worth to stay and really nice

I stayed here the 2nd time, because Marita’s B&B is marvellous, Marita and Albert are very obliging and lovely host. They took care of me like parents. Breakfast is yummy. Their garden with all the colourful birds splendid. From here you can explore Arenal and Monteverde easily.

Albert, the host, was very welcoming. The view from the breakfast balcony was stunning, their garden was beautiful, with a lot of different kinds of birds. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, breakfast was very good. I recommend highly.

Albert and Marita are welcoming and kind. The room, including bathroom, was clean,. modern and comfortable as was the bed. The patio area overlooked a beautiful Parklike setting. Breakfast was simple, fresh fruit plate, breakfast burrito, juice, pastry but fresh and tasty.

The access off the street and parking was a bit challenging but manageable.

We were served a homemade authentic breakfast promptly at the time we requested. Dining tables were on an outdoor semi enclosed patio surrounded by a beautiful garden. The property is located in area where you can easily find stores/restaurants but still quiet enough to enjoy your stay.

Wonderful stay, very clean, tidy and lovely hosts. Most comfortable bed we have slept in! Great location. Highly recommended!

Very welcoming hosts, who made us feel at home. The room is functional with some nice touches and a homely feel. The breakfast was incredible with brilliant views of the garden, we saw many birds. Was a great stop for us on our first night from heading to Arenal from the airport. Hosts and breakfast really made our first night special.

AMAZING! Marita and Alberto are lovely hosts. The house and the room were absolutely clean. The garden of the house is beautiful and very nice to take a breakfast (which was SO TASTEFUL) and take pictures of birds. The location is perfect as it is in the middle between Tenorio and Arenal (if you wish to do both) and everything is available by foot (supermarket, bank, restaurants, etc). the room was smaller than billed on your site and felt like you are in somebodies home,which in effect you were.there was a continous drip outside the window all night long,so poor nights sleep
