I took shower around 11pm. It was warm water then suddenly became cold water. I was told later the 3 units 10, 11 and 12 share same hot water tank. The extendable table cannot be extended because the bar underneath is missing. I saw a mouse trap in the room and was told it is preventive. I had to put food in the car. hairdryer is available upon request. We didn’t know that. by the time we knew this, the office is closed.

Lovely place. Basic but very clean and a wonderful place to spend a week!

Nothing. But need to put a sign on the dryer for people NOT TO PUT wet dirty towels and swimming costumes in the dryer!

We rented the executive cottage and I would highly recommend renting them. They were the newest on the grounds of the facility and far from the road also you parked right beside your cottage. Their was a giant field out front with 1 fire pit. The pool was great. Our cottage was huge and clean and had 2 bedrooms each with a queen and twin bed. It was a perfect place to stay for family . The cottage even had laundry in the bathroom and we remembered to bring our own detergent. The cottage was great and large for all 5 of us and we were stuck in the cottage on day due to rain. The next option I would recommend is the deluxe cottages they were a little older but looked large. Lakeview lodge is on the Main Street of cavendish and restaurants and entertainment are very close by.

Would have preferred 11 am check out over 10am.

The location.

The cottage door jammed and wouldn’t close. Had to push it hard. Was hoping that front desk would offer something for the inconvenience but nothing was offered when I suggested the door isn’t closing. No iron in the room. When I asked they refused to get me one and told me to use a community one since they only had 1. When I get there, there were 5 irons and they could have easily get me to use one and bring it back. Not enough dishes. The BBQ didn’t have proper utensils. Overall I wouldn’t be booking this cottage again.
