The house and property are spectacular. The view from the upstairs living room is stunning! And the plantings in front and back are impressive. There was plenty of room in the house for our group of six, and the open space was perfect for our group of, at times, ten family members for a reunion and memorial for our sister. The kitchen is fully equipped, and the kitchen and dining area are perfect for people to gather. Loved the house as did everyone!

We had a wonderful stay at Riviera Canyon between Christmas and New Years. The house is on a spectacular site with views over Santa Barbara and the coast, and it accommodated a couple and our two adult children very well. The house is very well equipped and comfortable. We had a couple of glitches with an electrical issue and ceiling leak (during a big rainstorm) but the management company and the owners were very responsive and neither issue cause significant problems. The downside (if there is one) of the spectacular views is that the road to and from the house is very steep and winding, which is a little nerve-wracking at times, but it's a quick 10 minute drive downtown, which is great. My husband also went on some fabulous hikes in the hills above the house, and we took an easy day trip for Santa Ynez wine tasting. All in all it's a lovely, comfortable house.

We stayed for a few days with family in this beautiful home with a lovely view. The furniture and bedrooms were quite comfortable, nice kitchen layout, and the outdoor deck was wonderful and shaded in the morning with nice evening views overlooking the lights of Santa Barbara. My husband and I both had to work from the house, and the internet connectivity was fast and reliable. We had a few things go wrong during our stay that were out of the owner's control, like having no water for about 20 hours because a main broke elsewhere in the neighborhood, but the property management company was quick to respond and they had someone deliver four gallon bottles of water immediately so we had water for drinking and flushing toilets (and the person who delivered the water was very friendly!). Everyone we spoke with at the property management company was responsive and helpful. The drought conditions also brought little black ants into the kitchen, but that's another issue tough for the owner to manage. Even with our little hiccups, we were very happy with our stay. The home was clean, cozy, and comfortable, in a fabulous neighborhood, with wonderful views. We will stay here again!

We absolutely loved this place, the house is cosy and beautiful and has all the amenities one might need. The view is stunning and so peaceful. We felt like we were at a resort. We had every breakfast on the deck. The beds were really comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed… we highly recommend this lovely home!!! We would gladly rent it again!

We very much enjoyed the house! Very convenient location, close to downtown and a short drive to the beach. Plenty space inside and outside for group meals, we absolutely loved the deck and enjoyed the landscape and sittings of deer + coyotes. Thank you for hosting our group!

We enjoyed our stay so much! Everything is neat and clean and operational, far beyond the online description. One excellent example (and all other aspects of the home follow this general concept) are its facilities for cooking.

Our Riveria Canyon visit was comfortable and relaxing, yet only a short drive from State St. The house is very well equipped and has many thoughtful touches … outdoor seating areas, plenty of kitchen amenities as well as beach items, books and games. I highly recommend this property and hope to return again soon.
