Great place to stay. Close to the village and the lake. Clean and quiet. Lovely welcome sign and wine for us to enjoy. It was 90 degrees outside and their fans were fantastic. Attentive hosts!

This Tree Top cottage was the perfect, romantic place to celebrate my birthday!
From the minute we opened the door, we knew we had chosen the perfect place!
From the welcome sign that greeted us upon our entry… To the doggy bowl and treat for our pup… To the complementary bottle of wine, we felt right at home.
We loved the gas fireplace… It kept us warm and cozy our whole trip. The bed was so comfortable, the towels were plentiful, and so plush! The Jacuzzi was the perfect way to end our busy day, and It was a special treat to sit in the jacuzzi and watch it snow.
All of the amenities supplied by Connie and Greg were very classy, they definitely made every effort to pay attention to small details.
Greg and Connie were perfect hosts. Communication with them was always easy to understand and quick.
My husband and I would highly recommend this cottage for anyone wanting to have a peaceful and romantic getaway.

We loved staying there, and with some with a larger dog there was plenty of room for our dog to still be able to relax, stretch her legs and be comfortable. We loved having a little fence that gave us privacy from the neighbors but I think the best part was the hot tub. If I had to nitpick the Wi-Fi wasn’t the best, the router must be in the main house because my partner had issues with be kicked on and off the Wi-Fi and was a bit slow. But overall would rebook again

Great little cabin. Very basic but has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Very close to the ski resorts. I love that it is dog friendly.

My husband and I had such a lovely stay at the cottage. It was very clean and cozy. Greg and Connie were very attentive and left a bottle wine with a lovely note for us as it was my birthday. The cottage has gorgeous windows and skylights that give it so much light and space. It was also very quiet which we loved. Thank you so much for everything! We will be back.

Stopped over on a road trip and had a great stay at the tree top cottage. Owners were very communicative and we had a nice time. Place is well appointed and comfortable.

Steps were a little unsafe. Cottage was not air conditioned and it was HOT until wee hours of the morning. Not conducive to good sleep. We were not comfortable in the cottage for 85% of the time due to heat. Cobwebs all over the front door area and steps. For receiving paying guests we feel this should have been cleaner. Inside the cottage was very clean.

We enjoyed Big Bear and the location was okay, however the apartment was upstairs over a garage and very hot. We had two fans and windows open but it was uncomfortable to sit and chill and sleep. With the windows open we could hear the road noise and the neighbor’s conversations. The jacuzzi lid, deck and patio furniture were on a lower level and not rinsed off or ready for use. The power went out and the owners were very responsive. Unfortunately, just not the couples getaway we were hoping for.

Our stay at the Tree Top Cottage was perfect for the weekend. We were close to town to get groceries and were able to cook a few things in the kitchenette. We had a comfortable stay.

Treetop Cottage was the perfect getaway. It had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The cottage is in a quiet area, it's very clean well kept and beautifully decorated. You can tell the owners really care about the cottage and their guests. They even had a bottle of our favorite wine ready for us upon arrival :-) It's also close to town and hiking trails and after a long day the jacuzzi felt fantastic! We definitely enjoyed our stay at the Treetop Cottage

I like that they left a cute personal welcome note and a bottle of wine for us. It was very cozy and comfortable. It was the perfect little getaway place for my husband and I. The hot tub was very relaxing.

My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon and came back a year later! We love Tree Top and will definitely come back again. The property is clean, spacious, and comfortable. Highly recommended!

I was unimpressed - it had a lot of carpeting that looked dirty and as far as being pet friendly, there wasn't a truly fenced area - all picket fence that existed was low and open. it was up 18 steps above a garage, there wasn't any lawn as shown in the pics just all dirt. Cameras to watch your every move. They were super strict about 1 car - when my partner was driving amd meeting me so they had to risk parking at the nearby grocery store. They left a "cleaning tip envelope". To me it ffelt very little money was put into the place.Oh and the bed sagged in the center so it literally sloped into the center with 2 people trying to sleep. The hot tub is shared and fenced on 3 sides and on the downstairs level totally seperate from the unit.

My husband and I really enjoyed this little place! It was cute and cozy and was a warm welcome after the big storms. We didn’t use the hot tub because it was raining during the times we would have liked to use it, but it was a nice option to have. If you’re looking for a little romantic getaway, this is your place!

We wanted to be away from the lake and town, this is quiet, in a residential neighborhood, but easy drive to all. As others have mentioned it is super for a couple, very comfortable & cozy. Often holiday rentals are for family groups (& good they exist) but a couple kind of rattles around. This was perfect. We ate dinners out, it was an anniversary celebration. It has 2 burner stove top, toaster oven & microwave so full cooking possible but not aimed at master chefs.

Absolutely lovely home, perfect for the two people. Warm fireplace and comfortable soft bed. Was the perfect get away and would definitely stay again given the chance.
I would say the highlight of the stay was watching the vibrant birds and squirrels that came to visit!

This is a perfect place for two. It is very romantic! Greg and Connie, the owners were very accessable. We picked a bad weekend for skiing (sleet, freezing rain, and icy roads) We were so pleased with this property though that we had a great weekend! Would love to stay again!

Very clean, quiet and comfortable cabin. It was perfect for our ski vacation, especially coming back at the end of the day to soak in the hot tub.

Great accommodation! Very well equipped with everything you need to enjoy your stay. Very clear instructions for using the hot tub and entertainment center. Well maintained and clean property. The private hot tub was a huge plus. Communication with host the host was excellent. I would recommend this spot to anyone.

It was a great space for a wintery getaway. The stove in the living room is the only heat source, though--so it does get chilly in the bedroom. Bring extra blankets in the winter. Also, we struggled to get up the last little 1/2 block hill while it was snowy/icy and spent a very long time in our Volvo trying to get to the driveway. Just know that strip can get tricky and there was even a couple car crashes outside that night due to how slippery it was. If you have a good car for that kind of driving, you should be okay. Hot tub was great but the temperature seemed to max out around 105. Our dog was welcome and that made the trip a lot more fun and easier. I'd stay here again!

I am so lucky I found this property. We went to Big Bear for our wedding anniversary. I had great communication with the owners. The cottage was perfectly located close to the resort and everything we did in Big Bear. They had a nice gift waiting for us since it was a special occasion. I would highly recommend staying here and we will book here again when in Big Bear. Thank you for a wonderful weekend!

This was our first time staying in a place other than a hotel. Place was just perfect for our 18th Wedding Anniversary. Clean, comfy, and cozy. Nice fireplace beautiful decorations around the home, bathroom had all the amenities that you need. Owners were in touch in with us in case we had any problems entering, as we entered, they had a welcome sign with our names on it (cute). This cute and modern home is near the main road and close to everything, we did not need to drive far at all to explore which was good.

This cozy cabin was exactly as described. We were not disappointed in anyway. it was quiet and private, and in a beautiful, friendly neighborhood. we did have to take our trash with us when we left and not knowing where to take it we just brought it back home with us. That was a little inconvenient but overall we absolutely loved our stay and would definitely recommend a return trip. The owners left a nice birthday card and a bottle of wine as this was a surprise birthday trip for my husband. A very classy touch.!

This cute cozy little cottage was perfect! Everything about it was just delightful and much more than we expected. Located close to grocery stores, restaurants and anything that we could possibly need but tucked away just enough to provide a nice relaxing almost country feel. And I must mention how clean it was, it was pretty much immaculate! This was just what the doctor ordered, in fact I loved it so much that I already booked our second stay here!

Very cozy, clean cottage. Pet friendly too! Although I was by myself, it would be perfect for two. The owners have specific rules that need to be followed regarding cars, guests/visitors and check out to avoid additional charges. Basically, you need to leave the place as you found it, with the exception of towels and bedding.
