This is a beautiful property! Two houses with all you could need, a refreshing pool, a beautiful yard, and great outdoor eating/hanging out space. The roof-top pool is great for sunsets. About a mile into downtown Bucerias. 4 stars since we did have maintenance issues, Erika was right on top of them. There were 13 adults and the wi-fi was pretty much non-existent. The listing says the Wi-Fi is good for 6 people but definitely needs stronger Wi-Fi for a property of this size. No hot water in Marilyn for the first three days, they ended up replacing the hot water tank. The BBQ outside the kitchen only ignites halfway, and the roof-top BBQ is completely rotted out. Neither of the safes worked. Erika did give us a key to use one. The air conditioning in the master bedroom was not working. Once the dirty filter was cleaned it worked perfectly. Another AC was leaking water on the floor. The upstairs bathroom for the twin bedroom in Marillyn is very hot with no AC. We would not have used that room if we were a smaller group. My BIL sat in an outdoor wood chair and he fell completely through the rotted chair. Luckily he wasn’t hurt. Cockroaches started coming out from under one of the toilets in Sylvia. We killed at least a dozen (and one centipede). The toilet was not sealed or bolted down. We duct-taped the door closed! The next morning the plumber put in a wax ring and bolted the toilet down and we never saw another cockroach. Maintenance issues aside we would stay again!

This property could be amazing but the property management company is letting it get far to run down.BBQ on the roof did not work, main BBQ igniter did not work and internal baffles are all rotting, main oven by pool did not work, kitchen light full of bugs, pool deck while tidy had not been swept in a very long time and weeds growing through the tiles. All of these could be easily fixed, biggest problem was no hot water in the main house, we reached out to the managers on 4 separate occasions but it was never fixed for the entire 10 days we were there. The manager had no idea we were coming and the property was not ready upon arrival, we had to go to a hotel for our first night. This along with other things took away from our vacation time.

This property is everything as advertised! Truly a wonderful experience!

Property was exactly as illustrated. We were very pleased with all aspects of the property. The house (Kitchen and bedrooms) were well equipped and actually exceeded our expectations. There were chairs and umbrellas for the beach, toys for the pool, lots of room for gathering as a group or even in small groups if you needed some quiet time. Everyone in our party had an excellent time and want to come back again. Erika, the property manager was fantastic and responded immediately (even no her birthday) to any request. Would highly recommend this property.

Lovely private villa with great indoor and outdoor spaces. Walkable to stores, restaurants and beach. Be sure to communicate expectations if you request meals to be prepared.

Just what the doctor ordered. Great property for our annual sibling vacation. Plenty of space for the 9 of us and had all we needed to be comfortable. Heated main pool was great, a little to cool to enjoy roof top pool but it was very nice. We rented three golf carts from Banderas Bay Carts and had plenty of room to securely park them in secured carport. Erika made check in/out very seemless. Will definitely look to rent again on our next trip to Bucerias.

Every aspect of our experience was terrific. Jack and Sylvia went out of their way to accommodate our requests. We had two chefs for 5 days and Monica and Sandy were incredible. They were flexible and very creative. The Chicken in Crema was fabulous. Highly recommend the chef services. Our grandchildren loved the two pools. There was plenty of room for our party of 15. Erika was very responsive and helped us answer all our questions. Thank you for providing us with a vacation full of wonderful family memories.

A fun place for friends to gather and reunite! The villa’s location is great. Close to groceries, bank, beach and restaurants and bars.

The houses were great separated by a pool. We had 14 people and there were plenty of spaces for people to go and find their own space to relax and hangout. The beach and supermarket were super close. There were a lot of issues with the water while we were there but the host was incredibly responsive and did their best to resolve them quickly.

Everything was perfect, except our grandson missed his dog! Lots of things available to do, good restaurants, good horseback riding, and kayaking, locals were very friendly, and our housekeeper Monica did a great job. Erika, our manager answered our calls, and addressed them promptly and efficiently. This was a great setting for our long awaited family get together.

We loved staying here. There was plenty of space for our large family including married kids and grandkids. The proximity to the beach was great and the beach was amazing. Beautiful, soft sand and fun surf to play in. Clean and uncrowned within easy walking distance. Then after tiring at the beach, the pools at the house were a perfect way to relax. We loved staying here and had an amazing time during our stay. The house was very comfortable with both privacy and areas to be together. We give it very high recommendations.

We rented this home for a week in May. I’d almost like to NOT write a review and keep this as our secret spot! From start to finish, everything was perfect! The property and house manager, Susan and Erika, the Chef, Monica, all simply fantastic! We had 6 adults and 4 kids- everyone had the perfect room of their choice and not once did we feel like we couldn’t spread out amongst the property and have our own space. The pool area is large and has all the lounge chairs, table seating etc. that you’d need. They have an abundance of towels, pool floaties and boogie boards too! The house is so spacious that we actually never even used the kitchen/living room area in Casa Sylvia! The location is perfect to walk to the main grocery store, Chedraui, as well as super close to the taxi stand. We became acquainted with a driver who took us to Salyulita one day, exchanged numbers and he arranged our return to the airport when we were ready. We are definitely coming back to this property- thank you for an amazing stay!!

Susan and team were a dream to rent from. Any questions or needs were answered promptly and met. We had an amazing authentic dinner made for us while we enjoyed visiting. The grocery service was added bonus. The Casas were stocked with everything you may need or want. Plenty of room for all us to spread out. Beach access was within a short walking distance. We can’t wait to visit again!

This was the perfect place to celebrate finishing school with a group of friends. It has many spacious rooms that have attached bathrooms which was great for couples. Erika and Susan were both very responsive and accommodating to all of our needs. We were able to have a private chef come to the house on the first night. The kitchen was well stocked and had many amenities. I would definitely recommend staying here for a large group of people and families.

We absolutely loved loved loved this villa! It’s beautiful and the service we received was excellent!!! Anytime we needed something done it was taken care of immediately. Erika provided excellent service but keep in mind you will pay for the service on top of everything else you have already paid for. Monika and Sandy are 2 of the most beautiful people we have ever met. And we have been all over the world! The food was spectacular!!! We told Monika she should bottle and sell her guacamole, it’s the best 😊We were all very comfortable and safe in these beautiful Casas. Our group of 10 had a fantastic time at this villa. Thanks to the amazing team of Susan, Monika and Erika we were able to have a delicious meal prepared for us when we arrived our first night. The rest of the week was full of relaxing in many of the gathering spaces through the property and enjoying the local neighborhood and beach. If you are looking for a quiet and refreshing stay with a large group, this house is perfect!

Our family had a fantastic vacation staying at the Villa Escapar del Frio! The location and the villas were perfect! It is a 7'ish minutes walk to the beach, approximately 25 minutes walk to the main square / market in Bucerias, 5 minutes walk to a local "super" grocery store that has everything you need from food, alcohol, toiletries, clothes, etc. as well as restaurants being nearby. We can't say enough about how fantastic the host team was. Susan promptly answered every question we had prior to our trip, She organized chefs to cook us phenomenal meals two of the nights during our holiday. Monica and Sandy arrived mid afternoon each time and prepared all of the food they had purchased, served the meal (including dessert) and cleaned everything up before they left. We would highly recommend taking advantage of this amazing service. Lorena met us at the villas when we arrived to show us where everything was and how things worked. We had a hiccup with the dishwasher and plumbing in the ground level kitchen and Lorena was there to take care of everything!! The layout of the main area is perfect. The pool, large eating area and the open kitchen is where we spent most of our time. Having said that, the rooftop deck with another pool was also a fantastic place to soak up some sunshine, play games or watch the beautiful sunset. Each bedroom has their own full bathroom whether it's attached to the room or just outside the door so even if you're vacationing with a large group of people everyone has their privacy. We loved everything about this private "resort" and hope to go back again soon.

Fourteen Grandparents, adult children and grandkids stayed in their very, very large home., it was more space than what we could use. A/c in every room. The sf. was unbelievable, home came extremely well stocked. I’m a retired carpenter and expected that things would be broke or poorly maintained, but that was not the case. We came with no car but for a rented golf cart to shuttle the families to the ocean (3blks.) and to the hospital for our Covid test. Pool guy and yard guy was gone before we got up. The crown jewel was Monica who came in the evenings to make my family authentic Mexican meals. I’ll return just for her meals.

The communication with Susan and Lorena was absolutly amazing. Any issues that we had was taken care of directly and they went out of their way to help organize a fantastic birthday celebreation for my wife. The property is exactly what is stated and amazing layout. We enjoyed the local sports bar (2 min walk), the italina restaurant (1 min walk), the beach (5 min walk), and the grocery store (5 min walk)! I would stay here again with my family, freinds, and children (3 years and 4 months). Thank you for an amazing experience!

Awesome property with great amenities

The house was perfect for a family of 13! It had everything we needed just to stay and unwind. A few minor hiccups with some appliances but was quickly resolved by the house manager. Grocery store was up the street so it made for quick grocery store runs. Everything you need is around the area, no need to go and pay high prices in the tourist areas. We would recommend this house for large groups or family. One that we will visit again, I'm sure.

It was very easy communicating with Susan from the beginning of the trip and throughout. This is a well kept Villa with lots of space to accommodate our big family. The kids loved both pools and the closeness to the beach. Lorena was very helpful during our stay and responded quickly to our calls! We enjoyed our week stay at the Villa!

I was so excited for this trip, the property looks beautiful in the photos, but this home exceeded my expectations. It is beautiful, so spacious, and a wonderful spot to spend time. Communication with the host was super responsive, Susan answered all my questions very quickly and even gave us great recommendations. The house is right by a taxi stand and a grocery store which is so convenient. It is close to the beach, a few restaurants close by and many more are walkable. The wifi was also strong enough for our group to be able to work remotely from the home. I highly recommend staying here for an incredible vacation.

Our party was extremely pleased with property! Lorena, our host for the trip, was available, efficient and welcoming. Monica, the housekeeper, came and cooked for us twice. Her cooking was amazing! The kids loved the pool and the house’s location in Bucerias was great. We were walking distance to beach and many restaurants. We would use this property again!

Perfect place for 11 of us all ages Everyone had privacy as needed, neighborhood is safe , Taxi stand across the street that we used almost everyday. Also have a grocery store end Bank a few blocks up the toad. Had a great experience. Would certainly rebook in the future. Thank you all!

Great location for two families with all adults to come together and celebrate a recent college graduation as well as an on site wedding at the villa. Wonderful time!

The property is a paradise in itself. The houses were very spacious and well set up. Our group felt comfortable in the space that provided everyone with their own privacy and at the same time common areas perfect for socializing. The indoor/outdoor kitchen by the pool is where we spent the most time. It was a wonderful space for our group to gather for meals. The house is conveniently located next to a supermarket walking distance and another great grocery store, La Comer, a short 5-10min drive away. Gabriel and Susan are very communicative and very helpful preparing for the trip and during the stay. Monica cooks amazing enchiladas! We highly recommend booking her for meals during your stay. We wish we would have booked her for more meals! The town of Bucerias is beautiful and clean. The street that runs parallel to the beach has a lot of local shops and businesses that are fun to explore. Overall, our group had a great time and would certainly book this house again.

Susan was an amazing property manager and made sure every thing was perfect for our stay. The houses are beautiful pictures do not so it justice. We had a group of 14 stay for two weeks and could not have asked for anything more for our family. Monica our maid was meticulous and made the best Guacamole I have ever had. We look forward to many years of vacationing at this casa.

We stayed at the property for 10 days, we had 7 adults and two small children. It was great that everyone had their own room and bathroom- the pools were wonderful and location was a 5 minute walk to the beach. No complaints about our stay. Susan was always available if we had a question. We enjoyed our stay!
