Small townhouse, well stocked with everything you need. Nice walking distance to historic Annapolis and city dock. Front stairs are steep and narrow, so not good for carrying heavy bags or anything bulky. It would have been nice to have end tables in the living room for coffee cups.

Parking was challenging. The description of where to park to avoid residents spots was left blank on the checkin message from owner.

Rented the place for Commissioning Week. It's a very functional space and the price is reflective of the accommodations. Convenience to the Yard and DTA is a huge plus whether walking or driving. Communication from the owner was less than ideal beginning with finding no notes on the place when we arrived. The email we received giving us the code to access the front door had all phone numbers for the owners blacked out. An email inquiring what day garbage pick up was took two days to receive reply. Had we experienced an issue with the place, having no phone numbers to call would have been problematic. Despite the way it's described, the back patio/BBQ area is not a usable area in terms of cleanliness and the dismal quality of the chairs/table. Parking was a bit of a challenge each day. Overall, the place worked well for us despite some of the challenges.

This is our second stay. It's a really nice apartment as long as you can negotiate steps.

Rhonda was responsive and helpful. The place was clean and met all our needs for I Day at USNA.

Our family of six spent three nights at Jode's Retreat in December 2018, and very much enjoyed our stay. The house is comfortable and thoughtfully furnished, and the kitchen was well equipped enough for us to make dinner in the house. We walked to the Marina for the Eastport Yacht Club boat lights show and were able to avoid having to deal with parking in historic Annapolis, which was a huge benefit.

We really enjoyed our stay at Jode's retreat! The townhouse was lovely and perfect for our family. It was a nice 20 minute walk to the Naval Academy campus and 10 minutes to the stadium. Parking is on the street, but we didn't have any trouble finding a spot. Rhonda was very responsive and easy to work with. I would highly recommend Jode's retreat!

This was such an enjoyable rental! The owners went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. There was even a thank you note and beautiful cookies on the table to greet us. The house was very clean and cheerfully decorated. The downstairs was open and made a nice gathering space. The home is a 20 minute walk to the USNA and practically right around the corner from the stadium. I would highly recommend it on a visit to Annapolis!
