The house is big and very very comfortable. There is so much space for a family with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms incl ensuite. The balcony is huge and the views are wonderful. There are plenty of couches and chairs, which is great. We will definitely stay here when we visit the area again.

Close to the wedding we attended

No water in the morning. Messaged the owner multiple times and receiving a discount with no response.

Self catering with all the facilities and essentials for cooking. The oven is really big and takes a long while to get up to temperature. Bedrooms were of a good size with wardrobes and mattresses the most comfortable we had all holiday. Owner was very helpful with an early check in.

We were unlucky with unseasonal weather it rained a lot and the temperature was colder than normal. This meant a lot of use of the wall mounted fan heaters and the rooms got cold without them. Tap in main bathroom sink needs attention as it sprayed out of the sink.

Location was as expected. The driveway is quite steep and difficult to manoeuvre on. The view was beautiful, the beds were comfortable.

The bathroom was dirty. There was no milk for tea or coffee.

The view is my favourite part of the house that can be seen from all the windows. The master suite is also very spacious and we had a great sleep. The living room has a great size tv and is fun to hang out in and chat with friends.

Marvelous! We had a great relaxing night. Loved the terrace, generous toiletries, comfy beds and spacious living room. David is a great host!

Being picky but Would be nice if the shower in the main has the mouldy silicon and mould in tiles that re done given the rest of the place is very nice.

It really needed a thorough clean not just a surface clean. The heater ion the main bedroom didnt work. The oven was very dirty.

We were in the area for a wedding so didn’t get to experience much but the view was great, the worse was clean, the rooms were spacious. All the bedrooms are on the top level and the 3 main rooms all have a view. The lounge and kitchen are down stairs and both have exits onto the spacious balcony that over looks the gully. Definitely will keep it as an option for future trips.

he drive way was quite steep which you would expect for the area but the photos sent don’t show that and no real warning. First time in and out is very daunting but follow the owners instructions and the 2nd time you’ll be much more confident.It’s not really a dislike, just a warning for less confident drivers like me, as this is obviously not in the owners control. Not sure if it was an oversight or not, but there was no milk. There was coffee pods, coffee and tea provided. Luckily we are all coffee drinkers and my son drinks ice coffee. We just used his for our milk. but maybe buy some milk on your way just in case.

The owner of the property needs to consider removing his listing, or at the very least making the parking situation very clear on the ad prior to allowing bookings. 3 car spaces for a house that can sleep in excess of 8 people with no awareness of the parking constraints prior to payment was and will continue to be infuriating. we used this as a place to prepare for a wedding and required different people coming and going at all times, at one point we had 7 different cars with no off-road parking and multiple text messages from the owner about the parking limits, not to mention a message after we had just arrived correcting how we had parked when arriving. I understand the intent may have been good but to receive direct communication from the owner just after we arrived saying we parked wrong and should turn our cars around was very creepy, we then received multiple messages about there being a few people coming and going, and questioning it. we weren't loud, we weren't partying, we had dinner as a bridal party and the boys left. We were then abused by the neighbors as she didn't like the parking situation. Consider removing the house from the rental market because its not conducive to this kind of renting, and no one wants to be told to be quiet at all times because the neighbours have a baby
