The hosts were very kind and helpful, welcoming. They had a useful tip for eveything we needed to know. The place was quite and peaceful, so close to nature. We could see from our window several animals, something that the whole family liked. A unique experience!

Very pleasant and quiet accommodation on the edge of the town of Edam, very pleasant owner, close to the sea and the canal, very good restaurant within reach. Ideal accommodation for a stay for two.

The location was wonderful - quiet, easy to walk into Edam or to the nearby restaurant near the beach (camping ground near by) Our host met us as we pulled up and was very pleasant. He provided a lot of good information about sites/activities in the area and even had bikes to rent if the weather was more accomodating. The apartment was clean and well appointed. The bed was comfortable and had easy access to sockets to charge phones/devices. The kitchen area had a full stove/oven and was stocked with necessary cooking tools/utensils. There is a private outdoor patio for your use and it was SO pleasant and pretty. We had a view of a grassy knoll and constant stream of geese, pheasant, ducks and the occasional cow! We would gladly stay here again. Owner speaks Dutch, English and German. Very responsive to texts and message on Booking.com

The bathroom was very clean but a bit tight for my tall husband. Bath towels were provided and clean but oddly, no hand towels were found. Really there was nothing not to like about the place and I'd highly recommend it.

The room is clean and very comfortable. There is everything you need for a perfect stay (kitchen, terrace, TV). The sorroundings of the property are very picturesque, the Ijsselmeer is only a few steps away. The hosts are helpful, kind and discreet. They have bicycles for rent. The place is really nice and quiet. You will not regret to stay there!

The only drawback, if any, it's the distance to the center of the village. It's about 2 kilometers away. It's a nice walk anyway, but you can't count too much on going there more than once a day! If you have a car there's no problem. You can also hire bicycles from the hosts. But if you don't mind walking, it's simply perfect.

Beautiful, comfortable and modern apartment, just as on the pictures, very well furbished with everything you need. The friendly owners live in the same house, Henk picked me up from the bus station and could always be reached for any questions or advice. Vielen herzlichen Dank! Small outside seating place. The location is at the edge of pretty Edam, very quiet, with nature at your doorstep , close to the „Strandbad“ and a campsite. Edam is a small and rather quiet historic town, well worth visiting, far less touristic than Volendam, which was very crowded when I was there. 25km from Amsterdam. Also an ideal base if you want to visit Amsterdam, but stay in a quieter place. Many more nice towns/villages and places of interest in Noord Holland are close, also ideal for biking of course with many bike trails. 15min walking distance from the centre of Edam, bus stop 25 min walking distance or 10 min by bike. I can fully recommend the apartment! :)

Quiet, pleasant and practical accommodation in a beautiful and well-located town of Edam, with nice views. Clean, modern and fully equipped apartment with outdoor seating. Excellent location for walking, cycling or car trips. Only 40 minutes by bus to Amsterdam. Pleasant hosts are always willing to advise or help. Definitely recommended for travelers and lovers of exploring the picturesque Netherlands.

Quiet place in Edam, not too far away from A'dam, the room is super clean, and most important is, the bed is really comfortble. The houseowner is friedly n helpfull, if i ever visit the area again, i'll def stay at this place again.
