The apartment is spectacular: recently renovated, beautiful architecture with a cathedral high wooden ceiling, large size rooms and easy-to-use appliances. The kitchen and bathroom are fully equipped. The living room has a great audio-video setup. The place is very clean and everything is in good working order. There is ample parking and a glorious garden equipped with an outdoor shower to get rid of the beach sand. There is a beautiful view from the living room and balcony of the beach and park. The host and their 2 dogs are amazingly welcoming. We greatly enjoyed our stay.

After a busy holiday, for our final three days we chose this area mainly for its proximity to the airport but the property offers perfect relaxation and a beautiful, quiet beach two minutes walk away. It is well equipped with extra touches that we would not necessarily have expected. Cheron was so welcoming and helpful, we would not hesitate to recommend Coconut Walk Apartment.

Our hosts were fantastic. Cheron and Walwen made themselves available for anything that we needed. They provided great recommendations on things to do and places to eat. Having such gracious host made this trip even better. The location was also very nice. We were on the more residential side of the island, but we loved it. You could see the beach from the balcony which was great to enjoy every morning with a cup of coffee or in the evenings with a glass of Cheron’s delicious rum punch. There is a bus right down the street that took us anywhere we could’ve wanted to go and it felt like we got a better experience than we would have at any type of resort on the other side of the island. My group will definitely be back and this is where we will stay!

We had a wonderful time at this apartment. We were four adults who enjoy cooking, and her kitchen was both pristine and quite well-stocked. A big plus was the air conditioners in all major rooms. We also appreciated the high-speed wi-fi, and the partial view and proximity of the ocean. There is also a very nice park adjacent to the beautiful beach. The occasional downpour of rain on the tin roof was a special treat! I want one!! Cheron made herself available for any needs--mainly we were missing baking dishes, and she brought us exactly what we needed. Said she would have cooked for us herself if we'd wanted! We tried to be very gentle on the place, as it was clear she is picky about cleanliness, which is great. The place is spotless, and the germ-averse need not worry, at all. Thanks, Cheron, for a remarkable stay, which turned out to be quite economical for four. Absolutely delightful in every way.

Beautiful accomodation with all the extra touches one would need to feel comfortable and at home. Cheron and Walwen were amazing hosts and responded immediately to all requests. I highly recommend the menu items as the food was amazing!!

We had a great stay and would highly recommend the apartment for anyone looking to stay in the Silver Sands area. Cheron is an excellent host and the flat itself is well appointed, super clean, spacious and unobstructed views of Silver Sands beach. I was looking for a peaceful paradise where I could forget all about work, bills and all the troubles of the world for a few weeks and I found it right here at the Coconut Walk Apartments. The location was perfect, off the beaten track but still close to beach, local store, buses and town. My host, Cheron, was simply wonderful. Her cooking was marvellous and her helpful advice greatly appreciated. Also, the chilled rum punch left in the fridge on my arrival was GREATLY appreciated. I am always a little worried when booking a holiday apartment online that the apartment might not live up to the pictures online. Not here! The apartment was better in real life than the pictures! It had everything you could wish for except a dish washer (I just used my hands). The apartment itself is fabulous with comfortable beds, a modern bathroom and a fridge stocked with enough food/drink to get a weary traveller throught the first day or two on arrival. The location was perfect for my morning and evening walks along the beach which was about a 2 minute walk from the apartment. The days were spent mostly on the balcony with views of the sea, beach and park listening to the waves crashing against the seashore. For 3 weeks I was truly in paradise. Big thank you's to my hosts (Cheron & Walwen) for making my stay unforgettable. Would I come back - hell yes. Will I come back - definitely.

Beautiful clean comfortable property with a view of the ocean and people kite surfing. We enjoyed having coffee on the balcony overlooking the ocean and the nearby park with birds and green monkeys. Cheron gave us a warm welcome and her rum punch was the best on the island!

This wasn't just about a place to stay, it was an experience from the time we arrived till we left. We loved this place and hosts. Cheron was fabulous: her place, her help, her meals she prepared for us but more importantly her personality and guidance and conversations, all while never intruding. The place was perfect: clean with all that visitors need. The location was so much: proximity to beach, bus, store, town. The fun we had will be remembered, the hosts will always be considered family.

We just finished 1 week at Coconut Walk Apartment and could not have asked for a better stay. From the time we landed in Barbados our hosts did everything possible to make our week a memorable one. The unit is spotless, the kitchen is well equipped and the balcony overlooking the beach and the kite surfers was our go to place throughout our stay. Cheron bent over backwards to respond to our every need. We enjoyed great meals at Surfers Bay, Ocean Blue, and of course Cheron’s home cooking, which was amazing. Cheron and Walden are both seasoned hospitality individuals and if there was a Host Hall of Fame they would certainly be in it ! We highly recommend this wonderful home away from home.

When we arrived we were welcomed by the lovely Cheron, the apartment was beautifully furnished with everything we needed for our short stay, the kitchen was a pleasure with excellent fixtures which we used every night as we had eaten out a lot on the west coast. We appreciated the chilled Rum Punch left in the fridge. The location was perfect, nice and quiet with a view of the sea and beach from the lounge and balcony. Cheron was always available to answer any questions we had and nothing was a problem. We would love to return for a longer stay next time.

We spent 2 nights at Cheron and Walwen's suite with a beautiful view of the ocean. We love Silver Sands - it's quiet, with plenty of areas to walk along the coast and walking distance to one of our favourite restaurants - Surfer's Bay Beach Bar. The suite itself is beautifully appointed with comfortable beds, a fully stocked kitchen and a modern bathroom. Most of all - Cheron is wonderful. So friendly and helpful. We highly recommend this spot for your next stay in beautiful Barbados.

Cheron is a wonderful host and the property was perfect and a really nice change from staying in a hotel. The property was clean with all the amenities you could need. I stayed there with my partner and our 8 month old baby and everything was flawless. Cheron let us check in early as it was hot and we had our child. She also cooked us a wonderful meal and was truly the warmest host I’ve experienced. Definitely would stay here again if we came back to Barbados.

We had an amazing experience staying with Cheron and Walwen. From the moment we arrived we were looked after by two of the kindest, caring, and lovely people we could have asked for. Home cooked meals upon request, offers to get anything we needed on hand before arrival, etc. The unit we stayed in was perfectly suited for myself and my Mother. Spacious, extremely clean and very well looked after. I would rate this stay even higher if I could, and would definitely stay there again.

We love staying at the Silver Sands apartment. Cheron and Walren are wonderful hosts! The apartment is the perfect size for 2 bedrooms; the kitchen and bathroom are new and modern, as is the rest of the apartment. The balcony is a bonus that overlooks the beach. It is close to Oistens and the airport. Nothing is more than 30- 40 min. drive. This is the perfect location if you like to surf or kite surf. Cheron is a wonderful cook and has a full menu of options to choose from. The grocery is 10 mins. away and easy to get to.. There is a parking space for your rental car right on the property. This is a place I will come back to again and again in the future.

Just came back from a fantastic 12 day stay at Coconut Walk Apartment. Sheron met us on arrival and quickly made us feel welcome and at home. The apartment was spotless as expected, and well appointed with modern appliances and everything we needed. We always felt safe and security was never an issue. We can confirm that Sheron's fish cakes were the best and we sampled around many the island (still thinking about how tasty they were as I write). Her rum punch was also excellent. There's so much we could say. Suffice to say Walwen and Sheron were the most accommodating hosts who went out of their way to make our stay memorable - thank you! We will be back! Highly recommended!

I enjoyed my stay. The host was wonderful. The property was magnificent. The only issue was the beach. Couldn’t swim because of the seaweed. I would stay again.

We are very fortunate to have spent 6 weeks in beautiful Barbados in this great apartment and location that we felt was home away from home. Walwen and Cheron are the perfect hosts, from arrival to departure they made our stay extra special. We cannot believe our good fortune in not only finding such a beautiful home to live in but to share our time in Barbados with two amazing people. They were both there to meet our every needs. During our stay we ordered food from Cheron which didn't disappoint! it was truly amazing and we would thoroughly recommend ordering food from her during your stay. Silver Sands is a quiet location but it was perfect, it was very easy to travel to the rest of the island even on local transport which we loved. We did hire a car for a few weeks but enjoyed the days we travelled on the local transport. When we return to Barbados we will definately chose to stay here again. Both Walwen and Cheron work tirelessly and go above and beyond to ensure their guests have the best service and experience. Thank you both for making our trip extra special! We will return! Just returned from a three week stay at Cheron and Walwen’s apartment. From the moment we arrived we were treated as honored guests (almost like family members). The property is extremely well maintained, and the apartment is clean, spacious, and very well equipped with everything we needed and then some (special treats left for us by our hosts). The balcony is wonderful and overlooks the beach and Silver Sands Park. We spent every morning and evening there enjoying our meals, drinks and just soaking in the view and warm breezes off the ocean while we planned our days. The Charon is attentive and available if anything additional is required. The Silver Sands beach is beautiful and active with many kite and windsurfers. We have travelled throughout the Caribbean and have never come across a property and hosts we’ve enjoyed more. We'd recommend renting a car to explore the many aspects of the island and there is no better place than Cheron and Walwen’s apartment to use as your home base!
