Over all the house was clean and nicely furnished. A few steps to the beach. The area is dog friendly. Beach is pet friendly and well maintained. Would book again wellaintained. I rs resp away

The Leaping Doodle was fabulous! So quaint and cozy; has everything you need for a relaxing beach week. Extra dog friendly too - dog bowls provided. Our son was stateside for a few weeks and got to stay with us due to proximity to the base. Highly recommend and we’lll be back!

We enjoyed the quiet restfulness, the charming decor with cheerful beach colors, the cool air conditioning during summer heat; the 5-minute walk to the ocean, and being a short drive to restaurants, shops and a dolphin cruise! We were thrilled we could bring our dear family dog with us to this pet-friendly rental with fenced yards in the front and back. We would definitely love to stay as guests again.

The interior is cheerful and well organized. The location is amazing — on the beachside, an easy walk to a beautiful, uncrowded, wide beach; across the street, a pristine forest with cedar-lined walks. Ideal for dogs.

The backyard was disgusting and full of flies. We were unable to enjoy it at all. The outdoor shower was rotted and the floor was about to break so we never used it. If the owners perhaps used some rent money to reinvest in a backyard, it would be better. We found a cockroach crawling up the wall where our daughter was sleeping. She ran out of her room screaming. We contact the property owners and they gave us a partial return of our money but acted like we were being unreasonable. I am sorry. I draw the line at disgusting bugs like cockroaches.

Really enjoyed the fenced in area for pets. Easy & quick walk to the beach. Convenient location to a variety of restaurants.

The property is by an extremely busy highway type road. You can not leave your dogs out in the fenced in areas due to 1) HUGE multiple poison plants growing all over front of house (unless you are ok with poison oil on their fur and you petting or sleeping with them and you get poison and 2) "backyard" is full of dirt and sand so we walked our dog for bathroom. Did not want to be in the "backyard" as it is dirt and sand all over with multiple ants everywhere climbing all over the table and chairs. Beds were so so & "furniture" in living area is wicker sunporch type decor, not comfortable after long days walking, etc. The owner had the audacity to send a bill on check out day to try to charge us $300 for after check out saying garbage left "all over" and "pizza & marshmallow" in microwave. A maid fee is added into the total cost to stay at this place along with other made up fees so trying to charge me an extra $300 is 100% absurd. Nowhere in the listing does it state about "a mess" or "place should look exactly as it did when you checked in." There is a maid fee and maids for a reason. However, I had 2 loads of wash in of their towels, towels put in front of wash and dishes run in dishwasher and yet it wasn't mandatory. Anyone looking to rent this place, beware, owner is Sheisty and tries to make up things to charge you for after the fact that is indeed not listed in the details of this listing or warranted, but just greed trying to take advantage of others. Beware
