Overall, very enjoyable stay. The property is 12 miles away from Helen, GA, no closer. The cottage is “rustic” and seems smaller than the photos indicated - the value of a good photographer using angles! It would have been a more comfortable stay if there were one or two comfortable chairs in living room area, perhaps a recliner or two. It was a good-sized cottage for two people. Even with two bedrooms, four people would be running into each other. Don’t see how six people could sleep and stay there! Owner was helpful when called upon. A clearer description of getting to the location would be helpful.

Spent the weekend here for a workshop. Easy access to Helen. Nice to have activities at the home to entertain so you could just be there cs having to go out.

The cottage was great. Had everthing we needed and the location was good. We enjoyed listening to the river in the evenings after returning from a day of hiking to see the sights in the area. We did manage to get in a game of horseshoes and kayaking. Just didn’t have enough time to do everything we wanted to do.

We had an amazing time at Nana’s cottage. We floated on the Chattahoochee and then caught some fish. The property is very quiet and secluded however, very convenient to everything. The host was great and we definitely will be staying again! A++

Used this location for a sibling trip. Beautiful house quiet location. We enjoyed the screened in porch and hot tub in the evenings. Several things to do and see not far from the house. Spent a day tubing on the river. Enjoyed our stay.

House was great! Very clean and well stocked. It was cold so the fireplace was a great asset. We also really enjoyed the hot tub. We saw a lot of wildlife at least 20 deer on the road to the house. The owners were very responsive when we had an issue with the TV. We inadvertently left behind an item and owners have been great working with us to get it returned to us. Will definitely be coming back in the summer to enjoy all the outside activities and the all the fun on the river

Nice, quiet cabin in the woods. If you are older, beware of the steps leading into the house, there is no handrail, a little scary.

Everything was wonderful! This is a great place for a family to reconnect and enjoy the outdoors and one another.

from the deck, we sat among the treetops listening to the sound of the river below. we picked the perfect spot. set in secluded sautee nacoochee was our very clean and comfortable rental house. owners were quick to respond to all inquiries. nice soft beds and sofa to relax on when indoors but most of our time was outdoors with lots of options for activities. many signs with "house rules" with financial consequencies didn't give me a very welcoming vibe.

We loved the location! Very private and quiet. Photos really don’t do the place justice. We saw deer almost every day and fished even though it was cold. Would love to come back in spring when everything is green and in bloom!

We had a wonderful, relaxing stay at Nana's Cottage--we only wish it could've been longer! The cottage is easy to find and close to many amenities, but we didn't feel the need to leave the house--there was plenty to do right there. We spent the days going back and forth between playing in the cool, refreshing river (the slide was so much fun for all ages, adults included!) and warming up in the hot tub (sparkling clean). We played cards and board games on the deck and picnic table and worked a puzzle by night while watching movies. And s'mores! Don't forget your s'mores supplies, because the fire pit is awesome. The cottage itself is super clean, well appointed, and cozy--it feels like you're visiting your favorite aunt and she's just popped out for groceries or something. Our kids (ages 9, 9, and 14) didn't want to leave, and I can't think of a better compliment than that. We are looking forward to our next visit! Thank you!

This location was perfect ! We enjoyed the surrounding sights and the peace and quiet . Hosts were great we had everything needed to relax and enjoy our stay. Beautiful views and nice people everywhere we went.

Ive never had to leave a vacation spot that I truly connected wit until today. So peaceful and private. I cannot wait to return.
