We loved our stay at this neat cabin in the mountains.

This is a lovely property in a great location nestled in the trees. Though not far from great sites, the feel is secluded. The cabin is clean and well-appointed. The owners are extremely responsive. Good for solo travel or a group.

Stop over from Hilton Head Island. We wanted to have a half way stop to relax before heading home to Cincinnati. And my husband wanted to stay in Maggie Valley instead of Gatlinburg due to it being the weekend and we didn’t want to deal with the traffic and crowds. This cabin was just perfect for us very peaceful and quiet area. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. The back porch is beautiful with a swing and partial view of mountains. We saw 2 turkeys on our first night! And lots of birds and squirrels playing in the trees! My favorite was the lower outdoor bedroom where me and my husband stayed the whole day it was raining and just listening to the rain and spending time with my hubby on our 35th anniversary was just magical! Anna was so attentive to us answering our questions just wonderful! Thank you Anna for letting us enjoy your beautiful cabin!

The property was exactly like described. The morning sunrise was spectacular while sitting on the deck with a cup of coffee. We would stay there again if we ever choose Maggie Valley for our destination. I can't say enough how pleased we all were.

We enjoyed this cabin, very clean home with a view of the mountains in the winter! Would definitely recommend!

Had a great stay at this cabin! Had everything you could need! Loved that porch swing and the fire pit area!! Communication was very quick! We would love to come back!

We stayed at the cabin in July and very lucky to be able to take a short trip this month. Both stays have been amazing. The beds are comfortable, towels and linens are top notch. Very well stocked with everything we needed. I love the location! The swing is to die for!!

Our stay was amazing, nice covered decks to relax outside, firepit to enjoy as well. I read a few reviews before we decided to book and some stated the house had a damp. mildew smell. This was not the case and incorrect. It is a log, wood built home sitting in the woods on a mountain; therefore, it is not going to have the same atmosphere as a five star hotel up state. The home was very clean, showers had great water pressure and no odors other than the great outdoors. We rented the home for a 3 day weekend to attend a bike rally. It was close to town, but away from the traffic. The only issue we had, which was not the owners fault, previous renters decided to put parental locks on the tv and forgot to remove when they departed. Tv was still available to watch, just not certain channels. This was not a big deal for us as we went there to ride our motorcycles and were not in the home most of the time to watch. If your looking to get away, I would recommend this property and would rent again myself.

The cabin is nice, but the cleanliness was poor. I don’t think the cleaning crew is doing Anna a very good service. The baseboards in the restrooms were very dirty and had some mold. The downstairs bedroom has dead bugs all over the room. They also only left 1 roll of toilet paper in the master bedroom.

Everything was just as described! The bottled water in the fridge and the trail mix packages were great extras to take along on our hikes. 9 yo enjoyed her glamping experience. Didn’t get to try out the chimenea bc it rained every night but looked like a nice set up. Would recommend!

The cabin was semi clean lots of webs on porch and spiders in bathroom and down stairs very damp feeling.Mildew smell there was no were to hang your clothes in bath room would have loved to seen a few wall hooks...Drive way was very small then to top it off Grass bank had not been weed control.The drive way is very tight quarters .Beds not comfey will not be returning........

This was probably the cleanest house that I have ever stayed in. It is exactly as described. The neighborhood is very quiet yet very easy to get to local attractions. The only issue that we had was a musty downstairs, because of all of the rain and humidity. Had a great time!

This cabin is by far my favorite rental to date. Everything from Anna answering my questions to the actual cabin itself has been awesome. The towels and linens are top of the line. Beds are very comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped but by far my favorite thing was the swing/bed!! I spent so much time reading and listening to nature. The location is amazing. It is so close to Maggie Valley but feels a world away from everything! I will definitely rent this cabin again!!

There was a little waterfall down the street to see, and the enclosed fire pit was perfect for the weather and marshmallows.

Lower deck with screened in sleeping porch was a nice touch. Plenty of space for the whole family to enjoy the beautiful mountains of North Carolina. We would definitely stay here again!

We had an amazing time staying at Forget Me Not! We love mountain homes that are secluded but also have some luxury and this home absolutely checked those boxes for us. There is an incredible view of the forest and the distant mountains while relaxing on the hammock by the fire pit or on the porch while swinging on the comfy day bed swing. There were so many wonderful games to play and it was one of the most relaxing vacations we have had to the mountains. I highly recommend this home for families, friends, or a romantic getaway!

It was located perfectly to the activities we planned - fly fishing in Bryson City, Mountain biking in Pisgah Forest, and just far enough from Asheville so as to be away from the city but close enough to visit the Biltmore for a day. The beds were comfortable and the towels were plush. The back porch view was wonderful to enjoy each morning with a cup of coffee. We shall not forget and will return for another adventure.

Let me start by saying, even though the pictures depict a very lovely cozy looking cabin, they don’t do this beautiful place justice. The inside and out exceeded our expectations. Each room was decorated tastefully and wasn’t cluttered with oversized furniture or too many knickknacks. The bedrooms were beautiful and so spacious. Each room had its own “country charm” feel. And luckily, each room (including the bathrooms) had heaters. We’re from south Florida and not used to the cold. The kitchen came with basic essentials which was perfect for our 4 night stay. The towels, in the bathrooms, were incredibly soft, the bed linens were amazing, and the couches were very comfortable. There are two porches, with plenty of seating, overlooking the most beautiful mountainside view. Don’t sleep in! You won’t want to miss the sun rising over the neighboring mountain tops. Breathtaking!!! The driveway was a bit intimidating so just go slow. It snowed when we were on our way there then stopped before we got to the cabin. But the snow stayed on the mountain side for 3 days and totally made our trip even more magical. There’s wildlife all around and a few creeks on the way up to the cabin. Take a moment to enjoy them. The owners are fantastic!! Anna reached out to me right away to help make our trip even more amazing. She offered several suggestions on local things to do and go see as well as websites to visit that gave lists of what’s around. So insightful!! She also said they are going to be adding some more special things to the property but I don’t want to a spoil it. We took our 3 sons (21, 21, & 14) and they didn’t want to leave. Wish we could have stayed longer. Especially, since it’s rare for all 3 boys to enjoy the same things. We can’t wait to take another vacation here, enjoy the new features and take in the fresh mountain air.

This cabin is clean, spacious and adorably decorated with great instructions, easy check in/out, comfy beds and everything you need in the kitchen! They even had a cute table with snacks and creamer/coffee! In addition the location is amazing, just a short drive from delicious restaurants, Tube World and Cataloochi Ski! This was our first time snowboarding and we had a blast. Highly recommend going early to the ski resort and getting a group lesson (we recommend Kurt). Tubing is the safest most well organized we have been to. Also cute atmosphere/good food from Bear Brewery. pizza from Pavinos my husband is still talking about, and pancakes from Joey's the girls raved over (lemon poppyseed!). We can't wait to come back again and bring my mom and sister's family too!
