Found instructions key box location confusing as depends whether you are in the car park or by the entrance when you read them ! 5 adults took a good 15 mins and a message for further support to find them 🤣 Easy to see in daylight but we arrived at 10.30pm so completely missed them ...and there are key boxes by the door which totally confused us all. Never mind we got there in the end !

Comfy beds, spacious and modern. Wifi good, nice decor and great value for money.

Sofa bed was really uncomfortable, the mattress is so thin. A few more essential items would make it perfect.

The general location was ok, Lolly was really good to deal with and had several maintenance issues fixed very promptly (broken internal door handles, broken shower in en-suite)

The property is very worn and in need of a good makeover ,broken door handles, broken shower in en-suite, curtain pole falls off, stained carpets, stained and scuffed walls. Lack of equipment in kitchen. Booked for 3 people and initially only towels for 2. Some of the issues were fixed promptly but whole apartment needs work. I expected a much higher standard of accommodation for the cost and the photos on the internet are not a true reflection of the apartment. The door into the apartment block has been damaged at some stage and needs to be slammed to close it and as a result is regularly left open by other residents The car park space was almost impossible to park in unless you drive a very small car. The door to the car park is broken and has obviously been like this for a long time which has given rise to the local drug dealers and drug users taking up residence which means running the gauntlet through drug users, syringes and other drug use implements every day as well as human excrement and urine. My wife and her sister felt VERY unsafe and had she had been staying there without me she would have had to seek alternative accommodation. We stayed for two weeks and the bins were not emptied during the whole stay which meant the rubbish just piled up which again gave rise to the drug users going through the bins in the car park leaving rubbish strewn everywhere. In fairness to the host she did offer alternative accommodation after my wife expressed how unsafe she felt but were advised by family members not to accept the alternative apartment as that too was located in a very high crime rate area. All in all it was a very unpleasant stay. I would Not recommend this apartment at any price!!!!

The en-suite bathroom absolutely stank of stale cigarette smoke and so did the bedroom. It smelt that bad we couldn’t even open the door to the bathroom but we had to sleep in the bedroom

The apartment was well-located, fairly centrally in Derby and there was private parking at the back. The communal stairs up to the property could have been better cared for, but once inside the apartment it was good. The apartment itself was very spacious, with a large sofa and proper dining table and a massive kitchen area leading off the lounge through an arch. Weirdly, despite the size of the kitchen, there was only a tiny fridge, which struck us as odd. The bedrooms were also very large with big wardrobes and comfortable beds and both ensuites were fine.

There were a couple of issues with this property. The main one was a terrible banging from the pipes when you flushed the toilet and another was the constant dripping of the kitchen tap. We brought both of these to the attention of the manager of the property who had to come round with some batteries for the TV remote. He said that he would get workmen in to fix them the next day if we wished, but as we were only there for a couple of days we declined. However, they should have been fixed by now. We also pointed out that the light had gone in the cooker hood (why do these never work?) so that should also be fixed.

During the stay, experienced washing machine break down and no gas supply. The washing machine is found not work on Friday night. Staff arranged to change another after inspection on Saturday morning. On the other Sunday night at around 2130, we found no hot water supplier. Checked with the boiler, an error code was indicated. We also found the gas cooker can't work too. The staff was informed and fixed the problem on Monday morning

The staff are helpful and friendly. Hence, facilities in the apartment should be enhanced to bring better living experience.

The rooms were very nice, the location is perfect if wanting to go to a bar on the night.

the kitchen had a smell of something rotting which is very intense. we could smell it when entering the apartment but when we opened the kitchen door it was horrendous. we looked around to see if they’re was something left over from another customer but we couldn’t find anything. We ended up throwing out our food we brought to cook as we couldn’t cook in that environment which was a shame. the heating was very mediocre with only some radiators working. the room I stayed in the radiator didn’t work at which isn’t up to standard.

The location of the property is very central in Derby. Apartment 13 was a very large apartment and is on the top floor so there is no one above you. The hosts were very helpful and kind, especially the kind person working at the weekend.

As the hosts had a very busy day, someone had forgotten to leave bedding for the sofa bed after we'd requested when booking. We made do for one night using some blankets and pillows off the other beds... though worth mentioning to avoid this happening for future guests. It did seem like a one off though and they were apolegetic for this. One thing that could be improved in the property is the TV. It's quite old now and I think a new smart TV would make the whole experience a little better. Especially if guests would like to stay in for the day and watch streaming services.

It was noisy. The kitchen tap dripped, the one bathroom had not been cleaned and the mirror was rusty and cracked, the bedroom door handle of the double room did not open from the inside.

Location was ok for our trip

We stayed at flat 6 (George street derby) on Friday and Saturday night just gone and please find details Although part of the sale, we had no parking space and a car was parked in our space the entire weekend and didn't move. I called your helpline and was advised to park in any other bay ant this will be fine. I did so and the next morning I had 5 printed notices placed all over my car from an angry flat owner. They even put traffic cones on the car in their protest. The following day I had to park elsewhere (bay 6 still not available) at my own expense and inconvenience . There was smashed glass in main stairwell and all up the stairs of the apartments. Look like someone had chucked beer bottles. This meant we had to navigate 2 children and luggage around this just to get in and out the flat. I can send photos if required. General cleanliness of the flat was poor, with dirty surfaces, dirty carpets and kitchen ware. The apartment smelt of fish too. The TV wouldn't work properly and also kept turning volume down on its own (even if did this manually and held the up volume). the remote control was held together by some very dirty tape and batteries not covered too The noise levels on an evening from the pub across the road were incredibly loud, even with all the windows firmly shut. I accept we were in the city, but the windows may as well not have been there. In my opinion a very dissatisfying stay and the apartment and was not as expected or promoted. Over priced and left us feeling very underwhelmed and spoilt what should have been a great family weekend away.

Fantastic location. Amazingly spacious. Comfortable and v clean. We absolutely loved our stay.

A cloth for wiping down the sides and some egg cups would have been good! It didn’t bother us but the tsp in the kitchen drips and the shelf in the fridge door was broken.

The check in was simple and straight forward. One of the best things about the apartment is its location. It is right in the City Centre, but on a nice side street out of the main traffic flow.

Ideally situated for Derby city centre

Very noisy at night as surrounded by pubs and clubs. However, we were there over Friday and Saturday, may be quieter in the week. I guess it should be expected with such a central apartment.
