Yogi is a great host, the location is great and there are great restaurants nearby (we loved street food and vegan soulfood!), you need a scooter but you need it anyway on the island. During the day there is some traffic in the street but at night it's super quiet, we slept great and would definitely come again

The family owning the place is so kind and helpful! We really enjoyed our short stay here. For us the location was great but please be aware that it’s a bit out of town (and not really many restaurants within walking distance) so we would recommend renting a scooter to go around. Also, the road is not really suitable for walking as it can be quite busy!

Yogi is an unbelievable friendly host and the Toro Cottage is a place where you can simply relax and enjoy your Nusa Penida stay. The rooms are clean and comfortable and feature a nice bathroom, at TV and AC. The pool is a great way to cool down in during hot afternoons. Breakfast was delicious.

Wonderful place to stay. Very kind and helpful for anything we asked about, super friendly! Beautiful pool and garden - we had a lovely swim - and big room and comfy bed! It's a relaxing spot and if you're looking for a more chilled out spot a bit away from hustle and bustle this is the perfect place. Very close to an amazing sunset viewpoint at a vegan restaurant. We loved our stay

The room is lovely, the pool is nice, the breakfast is good and the host is lovely. You can hire a motorbike there and explore the island and you can also organise more for your trip with the host. The one thing to keep in mind is that there is construction work going on next door which starts early in the morning. The host was most apologetic about it and that didn't ruin our stay, just something to keep in mind.

My friend and i stayed here for two nights and didn’t want to leave. The host/manger was absolutely amazing, so welcoming and helpful for anything we needed, she taught my 18 year old friend and i how to ride the scooters and trusted us to take them for the whole day with no previous experience. The rooms were spacious and very clean, pool was great and overall really enjoyed our stay here.

This place will need some maintenence. Still can provide comfortable basic accommodation, but there are several issues need to be done. The floor in my bathroom is probably leaking watter, so in my room you can see wet spoldges on the walls. The other room has not this problem.

Perfect place for holiday. The owner is very helpful and nice person. We got the delicious breakfast! Recommended for foreigner or local tourist.

Very cosy guesthouse. The pool is really nice. The room is spacious. The bed comfortable. The staff is the best. Very flexible, helpful and accomodating. They represent well the warm Indonesian hospitality, and even above and beyond. The guesthouse is inland. About 15 min to the main village by scooter. However it's very convenient to go around, being central. A few delicious Warung down the street. Warung Street Food and Warung DJ.

Fantastic pool area. Everything was very clean. Good breakfast. Hot water, good pressure. Good, central location giving you the opportunity to visit different beaches on the island.

We didn't book a pick-up before we arrived, but they organized us a transfer very quick, which was already a big plus. Then a friendly welcome and a clean and spacious room waited for us. You can also rent a scooter which is very important to get around on the island. If I would come to Nusa Penida again I would stay here, it really is a lovely place with friendly hosts, I recommend.

The hosts are very friendly and can help you with everything you want to do on the island ( scooter, tours, boat tickets, taxis). The room was very clean and big. The location was perfect if you have a scooter to get around. Short 10 min drive to see the beautiful sunset at crystal bay.

TORO cottage is a beautiful, small property in a good location in Nusa Penida. Unfortunately during our stay, we had a motorcycle accident and the staff at TORO went the extra mile in every way to ensure we were comfortable, and fed etc, even going to the effort of going and collecting food and delivering for us! It’s a small, beautiful family run retreat with the staff, Yogi and his sister being unbelievably helpful and accomodating. Due to our accident, we shall have to return to Nusa Penida to explore properly, however there is no where else we will stay other than TORO Cottage! 😁

Everyone here was so welcoming and helpful, from the start they picked us up from the port and helped us plan everything we needed for our stay - helping to organise day trips, scooter hire, lunch - everything! thank you Yogi and all the team for a great stay.
