Our experience at Barrel St was sensational! From the initial communication with Peta to the house itself, every detail has been thought of and well executed. The house is well equipped with everything you need, the pool was used everyday and we were blessed with great weather! Thank you so much for having us, the kids loved it too!

Our family of 8 had a wonderful 7 night stay at Barrels. The property exceeded expectations - great layout, multiple living areas, everything you need with regard to kitchen and towels, etc. Welcome basket on arrival was lovely too. Everyone enjoyed spending time in the pool and having BBQ dinners each night. Very short walk to beach and Salt. Would love to stay again.

Clean, tidy, well equipped and extremely spacious house just a few hundred meters from the beach and a short stroll to short beach shops. Upon arrival we were delighted to find a welcome pack with snacks and the a house more spacious and beautiful than what is represented in the photos. The house was spacious enough for two families (8 people in total) with three lounge/sitting areas indoors along with indoor and outdoor dining. We were pleasantly surprised by all the amenities and supplies in the kitchen, the house was supplied with EVERYTHING we needed to relax and enjoy our stay. It rained on and off which meant we didn’t utilise the outdoor space as much as we’d like but having a a spacious and well equipped still allowed us to have a terrific stay. The only negative we have is that the beds were Doubles not queen as described. This made is difficult for teens sharing a bed and isn’t ideal for tall adults.

We felt at home, relaxed and comfortable from the minute we walked in the door. The location to the beach and restaurants was absolutely perfect. A special hamper on arrival was lovely, especially with the coffee beans. Our hosts were fabulous to deal with. Thank you

We had a fantastic stay in this immaculate property. A last minute booking but so glad we found this place. 4 great bedrooms and two bathrooms upstairs and a delightful living space downstairs. 3 mins walk to the beach and 5 min walk to Salt Village. Great outdoor area and beautiful pool as well. Highly recommend this property for your Kingscliff stay.

Wonderful house. We took two rather large dogs plus various members of our family over the 4 weeks of rental. The house was large enough to accommodate all during some very wet periods and very easy to manage.

The open plan layout is designed so well to enjoy the pool area. Better than the photos. Convenient location and spacious for 4-5 people. We loved our stay.

We had a wonderful stay starting with a warm welcome from Peta. We were really impressed with the attention to detail and the many little conveniences which other property owners have not provided i.e. beach towels, basic kitchen condiments, laundry supplies to last the stay, food wraps etc. Little things but they make a big difference particularly when you are travelling/flying. Wonderful home for a family to share, close to beach and Salt Village. Pool was fantastic and well maintained. Even some pool toys! Supermarket & restaurants also quite close. The flowers and gift basket were a lovely touch. Thank you Tom and Peta - we will definitely love to visit again.

Very spacious house with a fully equipped kitchen. Excellent location, very short walk to salt village and restaurants. Also not too far to walk into Kingscliff which is a lovely town. Enjoyed our time relaxing by the pool and exploring local area

Loved our week over Easter with our family from England. Huge well equipped kitchen overlooking the garden and pool, perfect for family meals. Amazing coffee machine we put to work, saving us a fortune at the coffee shop each day!! Very easy walking distance to the beach and playground to keep the kids entertained. Fabulous margaritas at the local Mexican joint to top off a wonderful holiday. Thank you Tom and Peta!!

Great home for beachside escape or downtime in the pool. Centrally located to beach, restaurants, grocery stores etc. Spacious home, can accommodate up to two families comfortably. The downstairs living area will be well used, while the upstairs area can get warm given the lack of air conditioning. Proximity to Salt and the local facilities perfect for a week long stay. Great pool and outdoor space.
