Perfect location! Everything was great!

Very central close to Googe street station, Oxford street and eateries. Everything we needed for a short stay available. Host reply fast and helpful!

Hot water initially stopped working but host sorted it out very quickly. Missunderstanding re where to collect key - also sorted immediately!

Garbage trucks working in the Mall in early hours of morning. The system of key collection at other location was severely challenging. Had to incur a taxi bill of over 200 pounds while we located collection point while leaving luggage in a waiting taxi. This was an expensive and unpleasant introduction.

Great location, everything was super close, and the neighborhood full of nice bars, flat definitely worth the price.

The only small downside was that the fifth bed (sofa) was not that comfortable to sleep on but other than that everything was great :)

it is very spacious and comfortable. We fit perfectly, the sofa bed is very comfortable and easy to set.

it was winter and some of the radiators didn’t work.

- Complicated checkin process via external link with attachments and re-entry of booking information. - Building accessibility is not easy for kids with strollers. We had to carry the strollers up the entrance stairs. - Elevator is too small - Key collection was not good experience. We had to walk to a shop and collect the key. It should be the same as other apartments where you can collect the key from locked key box or using passcode.

lift did not work, very dirty, mould in the shower. no exhaust far on the bath room, terrible mattress in one of the rooms. smoke smell in one of the bedrooms.

We collected keys from a super market around the corner which it was very handy as at the same time we got some basics for our stay.

The communal areas of the building need some painting and cleaning but the apartment was very clean and conformable for our stay.

The property was filthy. Would never recommend it to anyone. Don’t be sarcastic. We paid 1,600 pounds.

Location was excellent, easy access to public transport.

The flat was not very well equipped in the kitchen, only 3 wine glasses, 3 tumblers, no oven cloth. Very few dishes, no dish washer as stated in description. This was for a 2 bedroomed apartment for 4 people. We couldn’t have cooked if we had wanted to. All the other self catering places we have had have had much better equipment. There was no plug in the bath or basin and no hairdryer but were provided when requested.

The checkin process, was at a remote location, 15min by cab. The key was then collected from another location (10min cab), a few minutes walk from the property.

Carpets and paintwork very tired and worn and not that clean. The access hall and stairwell were very dirty. We had informed the management company that 5 people would be staying but sheet were not provided for making up the sofa bed and we had to phone and get those the following day.

Great location, 2 nice double bed bedrooms.

Not clean. We rented and paid for 5 which was OK from the space but there were only 4 wine glasses and 3 bowls. It doesn’t cost much to keep such things in order with the amount of people.

The location of this property is great it really close to the center, the check-in process went smoothly. The weather wasn't nice apart of that everything was good.

Great location, close to Oxford street, Covent Garden, Picadilly, Leicester Sq and Soho. Many nice restaurants around, also Tesco is 3 min walking distance. The beds were comfortable and there was enough space for 4 people. The kitchen was well equipped (the only thing which we were missing was a fire pan which we had to buy because of a long stay). I did not have any trouble finding the location and getting the keys - the team member was right on time. You need to make the online check in order to avoid going to the office and be able to go straight to the appartment, but this was not an issue, the check in process was quick and easy. Paula from the City Stay Aparts was always online and very responsive if we needed anything, very helpful.

Wifi was just fine for emailing but slow for online conference calls or video calls if you need to work, the connection could have been better. The heating system was not easy for us to understand in the beginning and we had to ask for help. Just keep in mind that the radiators are on timer and they are automatically switched on for working during the night hours. This was fine for us as this kept a comfortable temperature in the rooms.

The apartment was nice and clean. Location was good and quiet and walking distance to stores.

The property manager was so unprofessional, rude and unfair that if I could only find another place for the night without incurring in the full cancellation policy they said they would apply, I would just turn my back and leave. Since we had a problem in providing our ID, and proof of bill payment?!?! (I was renting a vacation place not an apartment to live in), the agreed key handling directly at the apartment at a specific agreed time of the day, did not happen and we were left 3 hours in the street, under the rain, talking on the phone with Booking.com help desk. We couldn't solve the problem and I was forced to leave my family with the bags on the street, get a Huber (40 pounds R/T) and go personally to their office because they wanted to swipe the credit card. Meanwhile it was 6pm and they pre-authorized the deposit on my card as week-end check-in (double as per regular working hours!). They were so unhelpful that not only the conversation had to be via email exclusively (they had an answering machine on telling to send email because they don't answer the phone) but also when, in such a stressful condition I asked them to provide me the office address their answer was: it is in the mail we have sent you! I can just imagine someone in the same situation with language problems. Not a step was taken on their behalf to ease the stress or compensate me and my family. I was so disappointed with all the above that before leaving the apartment I took pictures of everything scared that I could be charged for broken or missing items! If I could only reach the owner I would suggest him to change the property manager!!! Booking help desk was very nice but I am a Genius level 2 and I never ever faced problems of this kind with hotels. Maybe a more thorough screening of the property (and property managers) should be performed before advertising something on the website.
