We had a wonderful stay. The house is very spacious with plenty of bedrooms. We had a couple of issues during our stay and the owner responded in a very timely manner and went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our visit. I would highly recommend this rental.

Oven was broken, most of the lights were out, no water pressure in any of the bathrooms. There was dried blood on the sheets in the downstairs bathroom. The home was in a conveniant location but it wasnt clean and it was filled with broken appliances.

The property is in a great location, very close to the heart of Newport (@2 miles). The house was a great size and accommodated the 10 adults in our party.

Lots of comfy beds! A water view. It worked well for our wedding weekend. The location is great. You can tell that it gets booked often. MaryEllen was easy to communicate with.

We rented to celebrated my sister’s upcoming wedding with a little getaway. The house was perfect! Great bedroom setup and a wonderful common space to hang out. Loved having dinner around the circle table! The house was a quick drive into Newport and there were lots of restaurants nearby. Mary Ellen was so helpful and responded right away to any questions we had. Would definitely stay again!

What a wonderful place to gather with friends. We enjoyed the large, open kitchen and fantastic round table with windows galore. Bright, clean and spacious is the only way to describe this space. Plenty of comfortable beds and space to spread out. We enjoyed the basement gym before some shopping, dining and libations! Quick walk to the beach and short ride to downtown, mansions and cliff walk! Great weekend celebrating 60 (and over 50 years of friendship)!!

We have a lovely time staying here. Lots of quick bite places up the street (driving). And a quick uber over to Newport.

We really enjoyed the home. Would have loved for the fireplace to have worked as it was a chilly weekend. LOCATION was awesome...very close to Newport like a 3 minute drive...

Clean, comfortable, spacious house in a convenient location. View from some of the windows of the water was a nice treat. Easy to walk to the beach and several restaurants or quick drive into Newport. Large open kitchen and family room where we were able to relax and unwind. Would definitely recommend for a group or larger family. Thanks for a great stay!

I hosted a few girls for my sister's bachelorette and Mary Ellen and her house could not have been more perfect. It was absolutely beautiful and the upstairs bedrooms accommodated us all. Uber rides to downtown Newport were so easy and about $10. Would definitely stay here again!

We stayed here with 2 families each with young children. This house is great for young kids. There are a lot of toys in the basement for children and there are beach chairs and some other beach gear. These items are not listed in the listing, which they should be as I would have packed differently and is a nice feature of this house. There are also gates at stairs for little kids and some drawers with locks. The advertised charcoal grill was not there when we arrived, but it was provided quickly along with a hose at request. House is spacious and mostly only with needed furniture - hardly any decorations - which is how we prefer it. The backyard is not private - the fire pit practically sits on top of the neighbor's fire pit - and the next door neighbors are family to the host. We didn't use the backyard as much as we thought we would. But the side porch on the other side of the house provides nice privacy. Overall, it was a great experience.

I traveled to Newport, RI with a few friends and my sister for her birthday weekend in April. We had the most wonderful stay at Mary Ellen's property. She was very easy to communicate with prior to booking and also prior to traveling, allowed us an early check in and late check out. The property itself was spotless, huge, had a wonderful kitchen for our private chef to prepare a dinner for us, SO many bedrooms and beds that everyone was comfortable. It was beautifully decorated and sunny and bright inside. It was only ever a 5-7 minute drive max to downtown newport. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend!

This Middletown coastal home was a perfect for our family. It was spacious , clean and tastefully decorated in a non cluttered way,all things we feel important for a family rental. We loved that it was a walk , jog or very short drive from everything we wanted to explore. The beautiful sunrise views over the harbor were an added bonus. Maryellen was very responsive to questions I had before we arrived.
