Location

There was absolutely nothing in the kitchen apart basic utensils . Not even a sponge to wash the dishes , or hand towel . The towels were also few , considering need at all times for hands in bathroom , we requested more .

Fantastic location

NOTHING ! Everyone was so friendly and accommodating. All staff had been vaccinated against Covid 19

Great location, good value for money, the staff was very friendly, especially Manos. Cleaning is done every day. There is a nice bar beside the pool with good atmosphere.

WiFi reception was not perfect in certain places inside the apartment, but not a big deal. Difficult not to wet the bathroom floor when showering because there is no curtain, however the floor gets cleaned every day.

The apartment was great and the balcony was a great feature to relax after a busy day. Totally recommend it. Special mention to Manolis (the owner) was very helpful and nice to us. He even suggested some places for swimming and food which turned out to be better than the common recommendations from tourist guides. So, ask locals for info, they are so nice!

The swimming pool

Beautiful location, fabulous staff. Shame it was during uk lockdown so not very busy but facilities were fab and the food menu basic but very flexible and perfect. I will be returning. I was in Elounda to visit my daughter who lives a few doors from Hiona, so it could have been perfect.

I am in a wheelchair none of the properties I visited during my stay at Hiona were wheelchair friendly. The manager at Hiona, Manos was very helpful and accommodating and he made 2 ramps to make life easier for me. The biggest problem is the shower. I could not get my wheelchair in there at all. I also visited a few other properties and they were the same. If any of the rooms would fit a wheelchair it would have been 10/10.

Apartments: Spacious, clean rooms, lovely pool, decent breakfast choices (we chose the option with breakfast). Amazing bar 😀 Location: right by a beach and close to some other beaches. The apartments are right at the edge of the strip of some great restaurants, 5 min walking from the center, but very peaceful. There is some amazing nature around, as well. What was absolutely the best witht the entire stay, however, was the staff. Manos was a most attentive, funny, friendly and sympathetic host we could wish for, a so was the rest of the staff. They managed to make us all feel welcome and that we belonged somehow. Would like to return 😀

I missed a few thing in the bathroom a bit at first (shower curtain, toilet brush), but later it turned out not to be an issue at all

Ideal location, literally across small road from the sea, quiet beach 2 minutes away, good range of bars and restaurants nearby. Very friendly hosts.

Bathroom was old Greek style - no shower curtain, so floor got wet - but not a big problem.
