We loved staying at the Lodge this past weekend. It has fantastic views & the indoor pool was great. Lots of comfy seating to all hang out together & plenty of room to explore nature outside. I would defiantly go back & bring the family next time.

The property is even better than the pictures. The hosts were very kind and very responsive to any questions we had. The lodge has everything you could possibly need to have a wonderful stay! Also, the entire lodge was very clean!! Thank you so much for a wonderful getaway.

This was a great place for our Christmas family get-away. The space was well organized and provided just the right environment for building good memories. The Christmas decorations were amazing and the place looked great.

A place we will come back to every year. Very well taken care of! Tom is easy to work with and always makes sure we have everything we need!

I booked this property for my husband and his buddies to hunt the property. They had a great time and my husband got the biggest buck he's ever gotten! I did not stay this trip but our family stayed for spring break this past spring and had a nice relaxing time. The pool is a blast, even for adults, and the property itself is beautiful and really private. House is large and accommodating for families :)

We enjoyed our stay very much. Communication was easy and the home was just as described.

Thank you both for having us again. Beverly had the lodge beautifully decorated. She put out pumpkins for us and a carving kit for the kids. We love coming here. This is our third visit. The privacy of the property is ideal. We never want to leave and can't wait to come back. Thanks.

This was our second time staying at the lodge in the last year and once again everything was amazing. Beautiful lodge, very clean, great communication with owners, owners were extremely accommodating to our needs, scenery is second to none and all the amenities kept everyone enjoying their stay! This is a beautiful and serene part of the world, which brings my family together and regenerates us for the year ahead. Tom is exceptional and kind host.

We’ve been coming here now our 4th year. The best for a big family and LOTS to do. Private, clean, accommodating and the best place ever according to our 8 grandkids. We never leave once we get here… get all our groceries before we arrive. I love doing the cooking ( I do get help). Everybody has a place to sleep and all can DO THEIR own thing. Read sleep swim paddle etc.

Tom and Bev were great host, do a great job providing the things you need. Even had some fishing poles for sale if needed.

This place has something for everyone. Want to go fishing? There's two lakes full of bass and bluegill! Hate fishing? There's a dock you can swim off of! Hate the outdoors? Well, for starters, I don't know why you're traveling to the country for vacation. Maybe you're getting away from everything to work on the next Great American Novel. I'm not here to judge. But when you need a break and realize that you still don't want to go explore this amazing property for some reason, there's an indoor pool, board games, air hockey, and a giant TV in almost every room! Did you forget your groceries? Well, there's fresh eggs and a small garden down the driveway a bit. And to top it off, you will not find more friendly hosts than Tom and Bev. You will NOT be disappointed in your stay. I guarantee it.

I can’t speak highly enough about this property or the owners! The kids and adults were laughing and having fun in the pool within minutes of arriving. We loved taking the boat out for some afternoon and evening fishing expeditions. The kayaks were an exciting treat. I loved just going to the dock and relaxing in nature while reading my book. There is truly something for everyone! Unfortunately, we had a family emergency while there which cut our trip short. During it all, Tom and Beverly went above and beyond and even offered to cancel their plans for the day to help watch our kids if we needed, while we tended to my Dad at the hospital! These hosts have heats of gold and their property is a little slice of heaven that we will continue to make a family tradition of visiting.

We love to come and stay with Tom and Beverly. They let our kids feed the calves, give us fresh eggs and delightful to talk to. The peace and solitude are priceless, not to mention catching fish! We can't wait to come back.

Spring break road trip with the family and dogs, found this place as I was looking for something near St. Louis and decided it was worth a shot since there was lots to do for everyone. We had a blast, the games, the boats, and the pool was amazing! I felt like a kid again swimming in the waves, loved it! And the dogs loved bird watching and being in nature! We will be back!

We have stayed in many rentals and this was the best so far!! Clean, well stocked, beautiful location, wonderful and responsive hosts. The two lakes, well stocked kitchen, outdoor activities, tranquil setting and so much more leave us planning our return!

We had a delightful time in the otherwise frigid month of January just hunkering down in the rustic comfort of this incredible cabin. Despite the weather being prohibitive in terms of thorough exploration of the surrounding grounds, the property was great and great views are available from nearly every window. This was a stay to remember and we'll definitely have to plan another soon!

It had a lot of fun activities for all ages to enjoy even in the winter time. Nice big living room n dining room. Well supplied. Wish check in time was earlier n check out time was later. The chemicals in the pool made us all itchy but it was fun and warm. Some of the kitchen things were not the most clean. Not a place to really put our non cold groceries. Loved having another refrigerator. Looks like a great place to stay in the summer.
