Great property, photos don’t do it justice. Pool very well maintained and great for kids. Bedrooms comfortable and well sized. Break out areas well equipped with good wi-fi. Would love to return next year.

Fine stay

We arrived on Saturday 3/6 on Monday 5/6 woke to what sounded like living on a building site Noise was horrendous contacted ? Villa owner who came he later emailed to say contact yourselves we did we replied to email as your assistant requested No reply at all we then wanted to try and have our holiday but had a request by vrob support to rate your customer service assistant as we had np reply we tried again to reply to the original email and had an email stating that our complaint had been completed and could not contact how can it had been completed when vrbo could not even have the professionalism or decency to respond to we had no response to our customers complaint and concern's we are totally shocked disappointed and disgusted that a company cannot deem to have any customer service at all We will await reply to this to see how to take this forward

Villa was as advertised with all modern convivences supplied, a well stocked kitchen, air con in all bedrooms and the sitting room area was very nice. Outside pool area very well maintained and nice amount of seating, pool good size, location perfect for walking or touring the rest of the surrounding areas from Faro to Portimão, enjoyed our stay very much.

Property in excellent position only 10 minutes walk from Marina and also Old Village and is a large property with 4 en-suite bedrooms and with a good size pool , sunned area and outside dining area . Couldn’t have asked for more 👍👍

The Villa was very nice and comfortably accommodated the6 of us. Lovely pool area and overall good quality. The Villas location is ideal for walking to the Marina. Ideally the Villa needs Aircon downstairs and more info about the Villa and amenities on arrival. Owner very responsive to queries. We will be back one day

Don't hesitate to book Villa Merlo! We are returning from a 3 week stay which was just perfect for a family, great location, very spacious and the villa had everything we needed. Very attentive hosts. Would highly recommend and we will definitely return

Nice villa with plenty of space and 4 bathrooms. Lovely pool and outside eating area. Table tennis was a bonus.

We loved this villa. Great location not far from the marina and old village. The pool and garden is perfect. Really easy straight forwards communication from the owner too. 10 out of 10!

Spacious villa with beautiful pool in a lovely quiet neighbourhood. The villa had everything we needed and we all want to return!

We enjoyed our stay at the Villa Merlo, it was everything we expected. Clean, tidy with a fully functional kitchen and washing room with iron and tumble dryer.

This was our third year in a row (excluding pandemic lockdown) This villa is an excellent choice for your family (old or young), lovely quiet location which is in walking distance to all of the marina’s amenities whilst right by pinhal golf course too. Brilliant pool to enjoy in the hot sun, great size for all the family to enjoy The hosts are superb and always attentive to your needs. Highly recommended this villa And will be booking hopefully for 2022

Buena opción para visitar el Algarve y sus maravillosas playas y pueblos. La casa es muy amplia y el jardín y la piscina están muy bien. Un poco antiguos algunos elementos (baños y grifería en general), pero la estancia ha sido muy cómoda. La localización es muy buena, si bien se precisa coche para los desplazamientos en la región, que merecen mucho la pena (Tavira, Cácela Velha, playas desde Olhao.....):. En general, muy bien.

Villa Merlo definitely exceeded myself and my groups (5 of us) expectations and we were thrilled with the cleanliness, layout and location of the property. The pool and house were spotless. There were 4 bathrooms, air conditioned rooms and the kitchen was stocked with useful amenities. The location was wonderful and taxis to the Marina were only €3. Nightlife was also very close by and taxis were just a 15 minute drive. We also had nearby supermarkets that were just a 7 minute walk away. José was a great host who was very attentive and looked after us very well.Overall, it was a fabulous holiday and we will definitely return at some point.

Excellent villa clean great area and only 20min walk from stunning Marina nightlife and restaurants. Villamoura fantastic place compared to neighbouring Albefuera enjoyed a great holiday and will definitely be back

This is our repeat 2nd year at Villa Merlo and we have again had an amazing holiday with family (9 of us) sharing the Villa Great authentic Portuguese property Stunning pool and sun trap, and best of all a 10 minute walk or €4 Euro taxi into vilamoura marina Jose is a great host and is really good to deal with Already booked this villa again for summer 2020 👍

Fantastic property, perfect location. From start to finish great communication with host. Cot & high chair both supplied by host. Villa is very well set out & very spacious. The pool is amazing, was cleaned every morning by local guy, property also cleaned with towel change mid stay. Kitchen is very well stocked for cooking big family meals. We were a family party of 7 + a baby & we all loved everything about the villa & hope to return. Lovely walk to local spa for fresh fish & meat. Again a lovely walk to marina both during the day and on an evening where it really comes to life with lots of live music and busy restaurants.

A spotless house & pool. Very suitable for our teenage children & ourselves. Location is great. Lovely residential area. 15mins stroll to Marina. Great exercise area for joggers, walkers etc 10 mins walk away. Enjoyed our time there

Velfungerende hus for 2 familier. Aircondition på alle 4 soverom. Bra kjøkken. Litt kjipe utemøbler. Bra basseng og bassengområde (plen).

Overall we were surprised with the villa as it was actually nicer than what it looked like in the pictures. Great having so many bathrooms but the showers could do with an update. Lovely garden with sun on it pretty much all day but again, umbrellas and chairs could be better quality. Walk to marina is fine, 20 mins tops with plenty of cut throughs depending on which point to get to. Overall really happy with stay overall, thanks for having us.

We went villa merlo in End of May/June, villa itself is in a great location 12-15 minutes walk to Marina 5-7 minutes to local SPAR, family train stopped approx 250m from home. Great swimming pool with floats extra available plays table tennis and bbq area out back, rooms were spacious and well able to accommodate our traveling party of 4 adults and 3 children(cot supplied on request). Access was simple and we were treated by the property owner/manager Jose. Cleaning was done mid week and general cleanliness of Villa was great. Will definitely like to stay here again 👍👍
