Wir waren mit unserem Aufenthalt sehr zufrieden. Sauberes Appartement mit sehr guter Ausrüstung, insbes. in Küche alles vorhanden, was es braucht. Netter Kontakt mit Property Manager. Wir haben uns insgesamt sehr wohl gefühlt.

Clean and spacious apartment. Have everything we need (6 of us) for the whole week. Diarmuid is great to work with. The only thing guest should know is that the beds are kind of short. If you are over 6 ft tall, you might find it a bit tight.

The property was as indicated in the Home Away description. All in very good order, clean, and had all we needed and then some. The location was spectacular.

The apartment was clean, spacious, comfortable and met all the needs of our family of 6 (17yo and up). Diarmund and Cascia were excellent hosts. They provided detailed communication, quick responses to questions and Cascia met us shortly after we arrived to orient us and also provided many local recommendations. Words will not suffice to describe the beauty and peacefulness found on the balcony... Surrounded by snow capped mountains and at least 3 waterfalls (one of which is lit at night) with the background music of rushing water, birds chirping and cowbells. It doesn't get much better.

Clean, spacious, comfortable home with the most amazing view from the deck! We enjoyed the walk from the back across the meadow to get to the path to town or to walk futher into the valley. The campground's store and restaurant are very convenient if you don't feel like walking to town. Bus stop is right in front of the property so easy to get to train and train station. We LOVED this area in Switzerland....breathtaking!

We stayed with 4 adults and 2 children for one week over New Year’s Eve. We very much enjoyed the nice and clean apartment in Lauterbrunnen. To have two bathrooms was clearly a benefit. The nearest ski bus stop was just opposite the main street - perfect! In fact we didn’t use our car during the whole stay. Thanks to Di(armuid) for his friendly introduction & explanations.

This apartment had everything we needed. We are three couples who thoroughly enjoyed hiking in the Berner Oberland. We loved having laundry in the apartment.

We were a party of 2 couples staying for a 2 week holiday in Lauterbrunnen a place we had visited a few times before so we knew the area and the location of the apartment having stayed on the same complex twice before.The arrival information and access was easy and straightforward. On entry we found the apartment clean, comfortable and well presented although we did discover a small issue which was very quickly resolved by the owner.The location of the apartment is ideal with easy access to busses, trains and Lauterbrunnen centre. It is also ideal for activities straight out of the door. We also found that the Shop and Restaurant at the Jungfrau campsite to be very good, with the shop being well stocked for most things. Be advised the restaurant is well priced and very good but gets very busy and it's not always possible to book.Our 2 weeks passed far too quickly and we made very good use of the apartment, returning most days to sit on the balcony admiring the view of the mountains whilst partaking of some beverages.We had no problems with the apartment and half way through our stay we got a change of towels and bedding, but unlike our stays in other apartments at Hafod a Hendre the beds were made up, bins emptied and things like dishwasher tablets were all replenished.All in all a great 2 weeks and the apartment was a great base offering all we needed for our stay. Not cheap, but we'd happily return.

Lots of space for extended family of 7, including 3 teenagers. The most comfortable beds ever which was perfect after long days in the mountains. Centrally located so everything was easily accessible. Beautiful mountain views from living room and deck. We hated to leave!

We are so happy we stayed in the town of Lauterbrunnen, it was very convenient for day trips and the scenery was stunning! The condo was well equipped and very comfortable. We walked into town often using the path behind the complex and it was only about a 10-15 min easy walk. We also took the bus which was super convenient going either to the train or in the other direction to the cable car leading up to the Schilthorn. The bus stops were right outside the complex operating buses every half hour. The camp ground right next door was great too! We ate at the restaurant and stopped for a drink there after a long day of touring. The food was very good and the prices were reasonable! Diarmuid was great to deal with and gave us some great travel advice as it was our first time visiting Switzerland. I would highly recommend staying here!

Beautiful spot! Loved the view from the deck/balcony! The apartment had everything we needed and was comfortable for 3 couples. We enjoyed the restaurant at the campground and the easy 10-15 minute walk to Lauterbrunnen. Very convenient location to see the beautiful Bernese Oberland area of Switzerland by train, cable car and funicular! We walked to Trummelbach Falls...it's a must do! Diarmuid was easy to work with and gave us great suggestions for hikes. Thank you!!

We loved our stay in Lauterbrunnen. Diarmuid and Casaia are wonderful host. Di met us in an hour when we reached the property and walked us through the property and also gave us information about places to visit while we were there. The place is very well managed and clean. We felt like we were at home. Its only 10 minutes walking distance from train station and village or 3 minutes in bus. The bus stop is right in front of the apartment. Would love to go back and stay at the same place.

We had a wonderful week in this very comfortable property. It is located a short walk from town. There is a campground nearby with an excellent restaurant and grocery store. It is furnished nicely and very clean. The owner was very responsive to any of our questions. We used Lauterbrunnen as our base to explore Wengen and Murren, the Jungfrau train to the Top of Europe, Bern and Luzern. Our Swiss travel passes made this very easy to manage. The restaurants in Lauterbrunnen are very good. We would love to come back at some point and do some more hiking and we would definitely stay at this property again. We could not have had a better week in this gorgeous area.

This is a nice modern apartment in one of Switzerland's most beautiful valleys. In a comfortable, quiet neighborhood near Lauterbrunnen's waterfalls. 10 minute scenic walk to town. Comfortable sofas in living room and very nice host. There were several small drawbacks to be aware of: 1) even though this is a 3 bedroom apartment only 1 key is provided. 2) master bed is not king size, it is full size (queen size or even a little smaller). mattress is not comfortable. disliked the bed. 3) the view is not facing the waterfall or mountain, it is facing the house next door or parking lot depending which room you look out of. you can see the waterfall and mountain if you look to the side from the balcony. it is not the front view that some other apartments in the building get. 4) hot water shuts off during the day, you have to flip a switch in the breaker panel to turn it on again if you run out of hot water during the day. Despite these drawbacks we enjoyed the apartment although it was a bit annoying at times.

Clean, amazing view and great location!

This property is just perfect, I would say even better than advertised pictures. We were 2 families with total of 3 kids and we had plenty of space. Location couldn't be better, literally just in from of the waterfall. We spent 5 days and it was a great base to visit all the beautiful attractions from this amazing valley. Everything was perfect, from the initial information, booking process, payment, arrival and our stay. A big thanks to Diarmuid for all attention! I definitely recommend this place and also look forward to return in the near future!

Home is clean, well maintained, just as described. I would certainly return. Property manager met us the day that we arrived to familiarize us with the home and the area. He shared many recommendations, and we used many of them. The hikes that were suggested were extraordinary - all perfect for our family including kids ages 6-11. This has been a trip of a lifetime!

This is a very clean modern apartment we have returned to a number of times since it was built 10 or so years ago It's not luxury nor is it as convenient for the ski areas but if you are on a budget you will save 1000gbp compared to a similar apartment up in wengen The regular and ski bus give great access but actually if you aren't carrying skis then the walk into lauterbrunnen isn't too long Plenty of space to store car ,skis and bikes (if you come in the summmer ) I'd recommend it as a spacious apartment in the most beautiful of settings. I cannot give it five stars as it's not luxury. If you want to be skiing from 9 then you will struggle as door to The base of the Eiger is just over an hour so you'd have to get up early but if you are happy to ski from 1030 to the end of the last lift at 430 it's fine It's great in the summer

We stayed as a group of 3 couples for two weeks. The apartment is a really good size, with a great open plan kitchen-dining-living area with a large table and comfy sofas. This meant we all had plenty of space to chill out in the same area. The kitchen is really well equipped for a holiday apartment, we cooked most evenings and had everything we needed. The listing is accurate, actually it seems bigger than it looked in the photos. Everything was spotlessly clean when we arrived. The apartment manager Diarmuid was very friendly and helpful, and knows the area very well. There is a bus stop to take you to Lauterbrunnen station or the Stechelberg cable car at the end of the road (1 minute walk) in the morning, it's free with your ski pass. Otherwise, it's only 10 minutes to walk into town in the evening, or there is a good (and good value) restaurant at the campsite only 5 minutes walk away. There is also a small bar and shop at the campsite, and the restaurant also does takeaway. We would recommend the property and would stay again.

We loved the clean and lovely apartment with the beautiful views. The location was good, handy to many things. We also enjoyed walking in the area.

This first floor apartment is spacious and modern with plenty of comfortable seating and a fantastic view from the balcony. The kitchen has all the up to date appliances that you could wish for, and the 2 bathrooms are well lit and appointed. On our first evening the property manager, Diarmaid, visited and was most welcoming, giving us some ideas about activities we might like to try. Lauterbrunnen and the surrounding area is a fantastic place to holiday, with bars and restaurants in the town itself and a bit further afield. The adjacent campsite, Camping Jungfrau, also has good facilities open to non residents and regular social and music evenings, only a couple of minutes walk away. All in all a great base for a summer holiday spent walking and sightseeing, and would be equally good in the winter as a base for a skiing holiday. Highly recommended in all respects.
