This was the perfect location for our family of 6. Within 1-2 blocks from the metro, grocery store, pharmacy, 25 minutes walk to the White House, approx. 1 mile to the National Mall. Owners thought of everything we might need during our stay and we really appreciated not asking for a long list of chores prior to check out. Owners were very responsive. Overall great place to stay and I would definitely recommend it.

The 2 floors are a perfect stay, beautiful, each room so creatively designed. Private, owners are super nice and accessible if you need anything but we didn’t need a thing perfect! Very convenient location in heart of DC.

Wow! I cannot convey how wonderful of a find this property is. We've stayed in nice rentals before, but none with as much thoughtfulness nor as many comforts as this one. Anand and Lisa really know how to make a house a home and are responsive, attentive and kind owners. The location is top tier, near shops, restaurants and the sights of DC. I give this property 10 stars and highly recommend it. No complaints and no notes 👌

Our family of 7 had a great time staying at The Frosted Castle. The owner was very responsive and easy to communicate with, both before our stay as well as during our stay. A minor A/C issue was quickly fixed and the owner assisted us with parking tips for our rental car. We felt comfortable and safe at the property and would not hesitate to recommend it to others.

This was our first family trip with our granddaughter of 16 months. The property was perfect for 5 adults and one infant. Everyone had their own space even the baby. The weather was rainy so we cooked dinner in the house almost every night. The kitchen was well equipped and the pantry was fully stocked. It is an ideal location and Anand and Lisa couldn’t have been more helpful. We highly recommend this property and hope we will be able to return in the near future.

I highly recommend this lodging! Was headed on a work trip to DC last minute and had to find lodging for 4 of us. All hotels were booked & decided to look on Vrbo & came across this historic home. The place is beautiful and immaculate. We were all so taken with it. We were comfortable in our own room with a good amount of privacy. The 4 bedrooms are a good size as are the 2 bathrooms. The decor is modern & beautiful. Anand made himself available and couldnt be more accommodating as a host. There is not a negative thing I could say. I highly recommend this beautiful & historic home for a group of friends or a family stay.

This house is in a great location, nicely appointed and comfortable. There was a wonderful supply of coffee, tea, and snacks, including fresh muffins. The owner was extremely helpful in all areas, met us personally, answered questions and concerns, and assisted in parking locations. We highly recommend this location and would be happy to visit again.

Our family of young adult children stayed for 6 days. It’s location was perfect. Plenty of room for all and we really enjoyed the outdoor patio for coffee and cocktails! The owners were easy to communicate with and very responsive. Would absolutely stay again

This West End first floor four bedroom apartment is perfect for any visitor to Washington DC that needs room for a family and wants to stay in the heart of the city. This very comfortable two floor apartment has everything you could possibly need for a long weekend or longer. The beds and bedrooms are comfortable, extremely well appointed and offer privacy for up to three couples. There is even a spare room space for a child or teen. Our hosts were excellent. They were helpful, friendly and went out of their way to ensure our stay was pleasant. They provide coffee service and fresh baked goods for us to enjoy on our arrival. The whole house has state of art technology for listening to music or watching TV. There is outdoor seating both in the front of the apartment and a small grill and seating area in the back. The kitchen is completely outfitted for preparing meal or just casual eating. Everything about our stay and accommodations was as advertised or even exceeded expectations. Next time back in DC we will be staying at Anand and Lisa's beautiful home.

This property is as advertised. Accessibility to just about everything you need. We did about 50% walking and 50% Uber to where we needed to be. We were there for a conference so meals were all out. We didn’t utilize the kitchen amenities but if you needed to cook it looked to have everything you would need to put together a meal. The property manager was very welcoming and explained everything we needed to know about the house. The beds were all very comfortable and the bathrooms were very clean. I’d recommend this place and would definitely consider coming back.

I cannot tell you how happy I was with this property. And it was better made by the hosts. The house is gorgeous and is decorated in a unique manner as to present the vibe of DC. The location is perfect in relation to all of the tourist spots. The house had everything. There was not a thing I could want. For cooking, you had everything that you needed. It was clean and the temperature was comfortable. I stayed in late winter and there are heating/cooling units in each individual room and I was never cold or damp. I have a case of severe allergies and the hosts went above and beyond to take care of me getting an air filter and also presenting me with specialty snacks upon arrival. And when I was leaving and my flight was cancelled, they helped me with a place to stay while I was searching for another flight. I was traveling with two teenagers and the unit is spread out to give plenty of room and stacked with activities for kids. I could really have not have asked for more.It is a beautiful place, great location, great comfort, and amazing hosts. You could not want more. And I would definitely book again and recommend to others as a stand out property.

Easy to book and great communication. Very flexible with our check in as our group was coming from different directions and dealing with many travel delays. The property was very clean and comfortable and suited our needs well.

After a small mechanical hiccup early in our stay, Lisa and Anand acted promptly and made it right. Ultimately, we had a great time. Would definitely rent again.

We rented with our three adult children who we raised in DC - our first thanksgiving without a family home in the area. We absolutely loved the proximity to Georgetown and West End, and we were all very comfortable. Nice amenities at every turn.

Excellent communication from beginning to end. Street parking during our stay was a breeze- most days the spaces directly in front of the home were available. Walking distance to shopping, restaurants, and The hosts have thought of every detail. We arrived late at night to a house well lit, warm and inviting. The pantry was stocked with fresh fruit, muffins, and a variety of snacks. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The outside private space in the back was perfect for a cocktail. We have family in the area and will definitely return.

The property was convenient to Georgetown (walking) and all the national monuments in DC.

Excellent location to explore dc. Near metro. Very clean, nice beds and full stocked apartment My problem is was we felt misled by listing. At price point of over 1200 a night including taxes and fees along with description of property we felt we would have the entire brownstone home. The rental is the basement of the home that has been retrofitted to connect the two rooms on the second of the four level brownstone by two separate staircases from basement(to keep the apartment separate from the owners home) One room in the basement is actually the converted garage. Im 6 ft 6 inch and could not walk through the front door without ducking. The basement bedroom has approx 7 foot ceilings. The bedrooms on the second floor have approx 15 foot ceilings with very well designed and very comfy. Problem is your living space and kitchen are in the basement with small windows. The front sitting area is very nice but shared with the owner who lives above you. You cant beat the location. We just felt misled on the listing

We had a fabulous experience from start to finish. As we were drove from Toronto we were running late and Anand (host) happily accommodated us. He met us at the property and showed us around the house. Everything was in place and we felt like we were at home. We all had a very great time. The grandkids were thrilled that they were toys for them to play with. I will highly recommend the place for all to stay when you are in Washington.
