It was clean and the wifi was great.

There was no heating available despite what was advertised. The locks were loose which meant coming and going was difficult. These two things meant we spent a lot of time liaising with the handy people. They were great but when you’re on holiday you don’t want to be making time for things like that. A more minor quibble - there was a washing machine but no powder and we had one toilet roll to last 4 nights.

The property had a lovely location, relatively close to the beach, and was well-equipped in terms of cooking materials.

I think there are a couple of improvements possible. First of all, I received over 15 emails in total before my arrival and had to confirm multiple times that I would be coming. I find the many emails really unnecessary and the fact that I had to confirm multiple times felt a bit exhausting/unnecessary. In terms of cleanliness: the dishes were dirty (there was chocolate paste on 2 plates) - I had to wash everything before usage. I also felt a couple of things could/should be provided: 1. only 1 towel per person is provided. As an AirBnb by the sea, I think you should at least provide 2 towels per person. We did not bring our own towels as we expected these to be provided by the AirBnb, and had to use the same one for the beach and showering - not very comfortable. 2. There is a washing machine, but no washing powder. For guests who only stay for a short term (like us), it would be nice if this is available. I don't feel, personally, that guests should buy washing powder themselves. 3. In the manual, it said that there was a fan, but this was never found...

The place was clean, comfortable and cozy .. All essentials were present, and a bit more .. Great views of Clifton, and ease of access to Camps Bay and Cape Town

Location good, but a lot of stairs from gate to flat. The load shedding was a nuisance, but that was not the landlords fault. We were very happy with the flat as it was no overpriced.
