We had a group of 3 of us (age 50-55) traveling to Dublin from a Thurs. AM to Monday AM the weekend before St. Patrick's Day. Chez Jay was ABSOLUTELY PERFECT! One of the women in our party is from Dublin originally and knew that our location would be ideal. Boy was it! We could walk pretty much everywhere. It is just steps off of Baggot Street and only about a 10 min. walk to Grafton St. and all the shopping/restaurants, etc. The unit is perfectly appointed with all that you would need for your stay. The furniture and artwork are most tastefully done (and our party was made up of two stagers and a realtor!). The closet space is great. The bathrooms are beautifully tiled and clean with ample towels for all of us. For what we felt was a small fee, we were able to have an early check-in after landing at 5a and go straight to our unit for a quick nap before setting out for the day. This was ideal and we were grateful to have it. Elizabeth greeted us on our first morning to give us a rundown of heating, locking up, etc. We were also greeted with a beautiful bottle of red wine to enjoy during our stay. Elizabeth was reachable the entirety of our stay if/as needed. She was delightful and friendly to work with. We will DEFINITELY be back. It would be great for larger parties too as you could take both the upstairs and downstairs units together giving you 5-bedrooms total.

There is no need to look through options in Dublin- just book this incredible condo on Lad Lane- Super clean, detailed communication, helpful recommendations, convenient neighborhood, and stocked facility. It totally has it all! If we return, we know where to stay. Thank you! Thank you!

We had the pleasure and opportunity to book both units at 37 Lad Lane for 6 of us. 3 of us stayed upstairs and 3 of us stayed downstairs. This property is amazing. Do yourself a favor and book it for your upcoming trip to Dublin - worth every penny!

This was the perfect place for us (2 couples) to unwind and relax after a busy, two weeks tour of Scotland and Ireland. Elizabeth was great. We really appreciate the early check in, complete with welcome gift and a fresh pot of coffee. She took the time to make sure we understood everything about the apartment and the surrounding neighborhood. We took her suggestions on local places to eat and we’re happy we did. The apartment is lovely and looks exactly as pictured in the listing. It was the perfect size for the 4 of us. Very comfortable and in walking distance to grocery stores and numerous shops and restaurants as well as several notable tourist sites We highly recommend this property to anyone staying in the area.

I would highly recommend this property. It is perfect as a base to visit anywhere in Dublin, or just settle in for a great place to rest and relax after a long flight. It is exceptionally clean and a short walk to anywhere. The courtyard and patio areas are exceptionally nice for a property close to the city center.

Everything about this property is perfection. We spent 10 days at Chez Jay and felt completely at home in this stylish and comfortable apartment. The home is well appointed with comfortable beds, hot showers, washer/dryer, dishwasher…everything you could hope for. The location was ideal… situated in the beautiful Georgian Core of Dublin. It’s walking distance to restaurants, parks, and countless tourist attractions. If you wish to venture further to cute coastal towns…it’s just a pretty 10 minute walk along the Grand Canal to the Dart station for easy transportation. The hidden gem of this property is Elizabeth who greets you upon arrival. Her insights on the apartment and activities/restaurants around Dublin were invaluable. Such a helpful, friendly, wonderful host. This is now the only place we want to stay if/when we return to Dublin.

This apartment was everything we hoped for and more. Very clean and comfortable, well stocked kitchen, great location, lots of character, and a wonderful welcome. I can't say enough about how much we loved our time in this home. The only thing some might want to be aware of is that there is noise from the upstairs apartment- we had younger folks coming and going at all hours for much of the week, then a couple of toddlers running around. Nothing you can do about it- it is an old building, so it is to be expected. Otherwise, all was great!

My husband and I recently stayed here with our two teenagers. It was a lovely, quiet spot very close to everything. The photos and descriptions of the property were spot on. If anything, it felt more spacious than I expected. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the outdoor spaces were lovely. The property manager met us at check in and gave us many helpful tips about how everything worked (Coming from the States the appliances are a little different). She also gave us some great restaurant recommendations. All in, this was a great spot and we would gladly stay again if we return to Dublin!

The house is charming and in a perfect location. The pictures we accurate. We loved the courtyard and the privacy. Just outside the gate we were in a perfect walking distance to everything. Elizabeth met us at the door when we arrived. Elizabeth could not have been nicer or more accommodating. We loved our stay and I would stay again if I had the opportunity.

The property was as advertised, clean with nice amenities and well maintained furnishings. Very comfortable back patio where we enjoyed a bottle of wine one evening. All communication was prompt and detailed. Would highly recommend.

This property was great for two couples. We were 15 minutes away from all our tour pick ups. You could walk out the back gate and be a fantastic pub or restaurants within minutes. Highly recommend this house. The beds are very comfortable, lovely sitting room and well equipped kitchen.

My family of four had a wonderful time here. The apartment was better than described. There was plenty of space for two adults and two children, it was well stocked with all the essentials, and had loads of charm. Plus, the location can’t be beat - a short walk to Merrion Square and St Stephen’s Green and all the other nearby attractions. Stocking up on food or other necessities was a breeze with the several local shops. And communication before and during our stay was top notch. Thanks very much for a great stay - we hope to return again in the future.

This is the perfect place in the perfect neighborhood! Everything was seamless from booking to checking in and checking out. A few of us who were on this trip have traveled many times together and agree that Chez Jay has been the best place we’ve stayed in. Comfortable beds, great showers, plenty of indoor and outdoor space to spread out and relax…everything you need! Thank you to Elizabeth for checking in on us too - there was a marathon going on the day of our check out that could have been crazy and she made sure we knew about it so we could alert out Airport transportation. This was our second stay in this apartment. It is cozy with a nice mix of antiques and new modern finishes and it is well appointed. The location is great! I wish we were there longer to enjoy the beautiful outdoor patio!

One of the best rental properties we've stayed in. We were greeted in person at the property, delightfully shown rooms/features, and received excellent response during our stay. Everything one could need is already outfitted. Very quiet, very secure. Duvets could have had a lower tog for summer. We'd come back for sure.

The communication during the booking process was exceptional. We met our Swedish friends there for a 4/5 day visit and it was wonderful. This property is perfect for two couples. Ms Elizabeth made the trip easy and was full of helpful information. The food in Dublin is very underrated as we enjoyed many wonderful meals.

Fantastic 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment in quite but well located neighborhood where all the amenities are within walking distance. Nice walk to dart/train station and city center. Very tastefully decorated and updated. Would highly recommend.

City stays for us as a family are all about being in a quiet, restorative spot that's just a quick walk to the center of it all, and this was it. Why stay in a hotel when you can have the bottom floor of this beautiful historic home restored with care and absolutely beautiful design? From the first communication all the way through to check-out, we felt cared for, as well. The home is close to public transport, and it's also very easy to just walk into town. After a long day in the city, we could come home to this oasis, and it's so close to everything, after putting our feet up, we could just head out again and by anywhere in minutes. Joy!

Great place with plenty of room and a great back and front patio. Two bathrooms also were great. Host was great to work with!

The flat is perfectly located for exploring Dublin and is an easy walk to restaurants, shops and St Stephen’s Green. It is very comfortable and well equipped. Jacqui was very responsive and helpful throughout. If you are headed to Dublin, I can’t imagine a better place to stay.
