Daniela was wonderful to communicate with before band during our stay. The property is so beautifully maintained and the house, pool, and grounds are even more attractive than the pictures on the VRBO site. Our family enjoyed the outside patio and spacious well equipped kitchen. I have to say the AC was a blessing in the heat as was the swimming pool. Words cannot convey our gratitude for the time together in the magical setting. It was a memory making once in a lifetime vacation. We were a 3 generation family staying at Villa Frassineta for a (very hot) week. The villa worked really well for us, and the communication with Lucilla and Michele was great. Michele organised for the chef Leonardo to cook for us on one night, and I would really recommend that - it was a great experience. A really enjoyable week - I hope we will return.

We spent a wonderful time at the Villa, the place is even more beautiful than in the photos, wonderful garden, good starting point for exploring Tuscany, We were in 4 families with children, the house was perfect, each family had its own privacy, the surroundings were quiet, only cicadas, and vines.Daniela see You again! AMAZING TRIP! We had 14 people for 2 nights and we had the best time ever! We did a wine tour and it was right down the street so we walked there which was so convenient. We also had the host hired a private chef for us which was awesome. The meal was so great and the chef was very friendly. The house was perfect, clean and easily fit our group. We had so much fun hanging by the pool and using the bikes that were at the house. I would recommend this place to anyone, we had a wonderful and relaxing trip!

Abbiamo trascorso uno splendido soggiorno in questa Villa di fine 800 che conserva tutto il fascino dell'epoca pur essendo dotata dei confort che la rendono piacevole in ogni stagione. Il riscaldamento presente in ogni ambiente è stato molto efficiente malgrado la temperatura esterna fosse bassissima; la cucina è spaziosa e attrezzata di tutto il necessario per cucinare per tanti (noi eravamo in 12) e c'è una seconda bellissima cucina al primo piano; le camere sono tutte spaziose e luminose e arredate con stile, i letti comodi e le lenzuola di qualità; i bagni sono moderni con acqua calda a volontà. Infine la sala è calda e spaziosa, perfetta per cenare insieme e per rilassarsi davanti ad un moderno ed efficiente camino. Ci piacerebbe tornare durante la stagione calda per provare la piscina!

We loved everything about this property! Lucille was very easy to work with and accommodated our late arrival to the home. The home itself is breathtaking... you feel as if you are staying in a museum. The property is beautiful and well maintained. We hope to return someday.

The property is a gem. The villa has been restored with great care. The rooms are comfortable and the bathrooms are modern. The setting is fabulous! The outdoor area overlooks beautiful farmland and vineyards. You can walk to a winery that is a short walk from the villa. The villa has all the amenities you could ask for including wine and olive oil for purchase! We arranged a dinner to be prepared and served at the villa and the experience was wonderful. One of the best meals we had in Tuscany! We hope to return to this beautiful villa again in the future.

Sfeervolle en ruime villa, van alle gemakken voorzien. Het zwembad en grote tuin werden tijdens ons verblijf ook keurig onderhouden. Een echte aanrader voor wie van rust en ruimte houdt in het mooie Toscaanse landschap.

This villa was very spacious and plenty of space for 15 persons. A lot of activities in the garden. I highly recommend for big families.

En fantastisk vecka i denna otroliga villa. Mycket fina rum med tillhörande duschrum/wc. Stor och härlig pool med saltrening. Köket en härlig plats att hänga i och laga kvällens middag. Omgivningen underbar. Nära till Arezzo, Siena, Cortona och Montepulciano. Anlitade en kock via uthyraren som tillagade en fantastisk middag. Kan rekommenderas. En svårslagen upplevelse och vistelse.

From the moment we walked in the front door we knew we were in for a magical two weeks. We weren't wrong. Our party of sixteen family members consisted of 14 adults and 2 children (4yrs and 2yrs). They had set up baby cots for the children in one of the middle sitting rooms-perfect. There was ample room for everyone. The grounds were just lovely-fig trees, olive trees and hedges of rosemary!!! The pool was magnificent. The surrounding countryside was just so beautiful and the sunsets were magnificent. Location was perfect. Walk to the winery, 10 minutes to a large grocery store on the outskirts of Arezzo, bodega within 15 minute walk, restaurants 15 minutes away plus easy access to the train station in Arezzo. One could take a train to Florence-28 minutes on the rapid train and an hour by regular train. Siena and Cortono were about a forty minute drive. We took day trips almost every day. Cooking worked out well as we had teams and we took turns. The kitchen is stocked with everything you would need. We also had the chefs cook for us 2 nights. The food was amazing. Daniela was our contact person and she was readily available for any questions or concerns. She arranged the chefs for us. It was well worth it and they are very accommadating. Our hope is to return one day to Villa Frassineta-our little piece of paradise. Dont think twice.

Abbiamo trascorso una vacanza in famiglia, con tanti bambini vivaci. Il posto è l’ideale per passare ore liete in relax. Tanto spazio dentro e fuori, tutto il necessario per pranzi e cene conviviali. Camere grandi e pulite. Lo consiglio.

The property in general was spectacular, the owners were flexible and courteous, the views were majestic.

Es ist einfach ein tolles Gefühl, wenn man sich auf so viel Platz im und um das Haus herum ausbreiten darf. Es fehlt an nichts, um sich einfach nur wohlfühlen zu können, soweit dies in der Macht der Gastgeber steht. Leider grenzt das Anwesen an einen Acker, der täglich bearbeitet wurde, sowie - wirklich störend - an eine Art Hundepension, deren Insassen uns so manche Stunde Schlaf geraubt haben. Die armen Tiere waren scheinbar zumeist sich selbst in ihren Zwingern überlassen und haben sich bemitleidenswert heiser gebellt. Hierauf angesprochen zeigten sich unsere ansonsten wirklich netten Gastgeber "überrascht". Das ist dann aber wirklich auch das einzige Manko. Haus und Grundstück waren tiptop gepflegt, täglich kam ein Gärtner und schaute nach dem Rechten und vor allem nach dem phantastischen Pool. Der war zwar unbeheizt, das wäre aber wohl in der Toskana dann auch zuviel verlangt gewesen. Zum Schwimmen waren die 14 Meter Länge einfach nur perfekt. Perfekt war auch die ganze Technik im Haus, die Badezimmer waren toll renoviert, alle Zimmer und Betten groß genug und die Einrichtung landestypisch und somit sehr ansprechend. Auch als Ausgangspunkt für Entdeckungstouren eignet sich der Standort hervorragend. In 15 Autominuten ist man in Arezzo, in einer Stunde in Florenz, Siena, Montepulciano oder Perugia, um hier nur die highlights anzuführen. Zudem fährt von Arezzo aus ein Schnellzug in 70 Minuten nach Rom! Was will man mehr?

We have just returned from an idyllic fortnight's stay in Villa Frassineta.The villa has been renovated superbly while retaining its original character.The decoration and furnishings are perfectly in keeping with the age of the property and yet it has all the modern conveniences you could wish for......wifi, Netflix, air con, etc etc.The linens were crisp and white, the towels soft and fluffy! And there was ample china and cutlery so that we never ran out. The gardens and pool are both large and well maintained by Lucciano who was there twice everyday but never intrusive.Our only regrets are that we didn't discover all the lovely outside lighting till the last night! Our fault...Daniela had told us where the switch was!Finally Daniela was so helpful throughout the whole time, from when we booked till we left.She recommended Antica Pieve and Menchettis for meals out both of which we visited twice. And we used the services of the chef on two evenings which worked really well for us.We have been staying in villas across Europe for the last 20 years and Villa Frassineta is undoubtedly one of the best!

Villa Frassineta is beautiful inside and out from the decorations to the lovely flower and vegetable garden to the pool. The house and grounds are much nicer than in the photos. It is the perfect house for a large family to spend time together in Tuscany. The kitchen is well equipped. There is a smart TV with Netflix. The house is a hour (or less) drive to many places of interest. We would highly recommend it for your next vacation! There is A/C on the second floor that works for those bedrooms. During the summer, The bedrooms on the third floor and 1st floor rooms. It was difficult for guests on the 3rd floor to sleep. If you open the windows, mosquitoes come in so asking for fans would fix this problem.

We had a wonderful vacation at the villa. It was the perfect location for day trips to the towns around it, and then the perfect retreat in the afternoon for a swim and a homemade meal. The house has a lovely garden, with flowers, vegetables, and fruits, which is perfect if you want to cook at the villa. We also hired the chef to cook for us, and it was spectacular! We had plenty of left over for another meal and the price was unbeatable. If you are looking for a place to relax, and enjoy Tuscany, this is the place for you! Danielle and her family were easily available at all times. We highly recommend it!

Wow, our stay at Villa Frasineto was completely wonderful! From initial communication to checkout, the entire process was flawless. Daniela and Lucilla were wonderful to deal with and made our stay perfect. The villa was impeccably clean, the pool sparkling, the grounds absolutely enchanting and the kitchen was modern and well appointed. The villa is close to Arezzo and Cortona which are really lovely small towns. We were close to shopping, yet far enough away for a quite stay in the Tuscan countryside. We really enjoyed cooking great meals and eating on the patio right outside the kitchen. The provided bikes were also great for a laid back ride through the neighboring farms and countryside. The main house is really beautiful and all the rooms were just perfect. Lucilla was so helpful with tips about the neighboring area and made us feel very welcome. I highly recommend a stay here. We really had the perfect family vacation and can't wait to get back.

We spent the most delightful vacations in this amazing property. Very big and confortable (we were 14 ..), lovely for families, secluded whilst close to all major cities . Our hosts were wonderful . It was difficult to leave and we hope to come back.

We had a great time in that house. It is just fantastic. Real florentine style, charming, enough space for everyone (13 people) and all necessary comfort. Beautiful garden and fantastic pool. Perfect stay for 13 people! The location is also exceptional. We will come back!
