This is the third time we stayed at this place, and every time we enjoyed it. The cabin is nice and clean. Beautiful view from the cabin to the lake. Nice and clean water at the lake. We will be back again and I recommend everyone to stay in this amazing place.

Great for kids. My kids loved the big bedroom with the bunk beds and loft bed. Grill wasn’t the best but I luckily brought my own. The tap water wasn’t drinkable. Those are small gripes for the price though. Overall a great stay.

This was such a great place! The location is beautiful and relaxing. The cabin was very nice and well kept. The owners were great and made sure everything was hassle free. We would love to go back.

Very quiet, very spacious, huge outside deck.

Cozy, quiet, relaxing cabin stay. Home was clean and cozy. View of pond/lake was fantastic. We visited the first weekend of April. There area had snow a couple of days before our arrival. I would have spent a great deal of time on the back deck if the weather had been warmer. Looking forward to visiting again.

Cabin was clean and cozy . Beautiful property, and everything was there that we needed to cook breakfast and dinner. I highly recommend this special place!

If you're looking for a place to get away from life and society, this is the place. Easy lake access and no phone service, but WiFi if needed. Great place to unwind and cut ties with work and life. Would definitely come back.

My friends and I celebrated my birthday at this beautiful cabin! It was the perfect place to host a small dinner and see the beautiful frozen lake.

This was a beautiful cabin! My friends and I were doing a one night trip to celebrate a birthday, and this stay was perfect for that. The cabin was adorable, perfect for what we needed. Super clean and very warm. The cabin is down a long, windy road which made it feel very secluded and private. The view of the pond was gorgeous and it was frozen over so we were able to walk on it! We are hoping to stay again in the future when it is warmer. Definitely recommend.

Wish we coulda stayed longer

We simply planned too short of a stay! The cabin was nice, and had lots of notes about where things are and how to get around. It was a little tricky finding the cabin (picture is of the back), but we managed! It’s a nice cabin. Ideal for a single family with lots of kids that are old enough to manage stairs safely. There was one bedroom with a queen bed, then the large room with at least 5 smaller beds and an open staircase. It was stocked with several games, books, and movies, had internet, a stove, fridge, etc. it did appear to have blankets/sheets despite the post asking us to bring our own (from Ohio!) the lake is very nice, though we didn’t leave ourselves much time to fish and didn’t make it out on the boats. I’d like to come back when we can stay for an about a week. Well there aren’t many places nearby to eat (perhaps that’s a good thing) and most places are local diners, etc. Some were really good, like Birdseye Diner and the Fair Haven Inn. Some were less good. You should also visit the Taconic Mountains Ramble state park nearby - it is gorgeous.

It is a beautiful house with amazing views of the lake and fall around. You have to get your own bedsheets, did not know that.

Beautiful place to stay. Outside is private with stunning nature setting. Wished we could have stayed longer! They provide wifi, but our phones did not get a signal. Just good to note to make sure you know how to navigate to and fro the cabin. I suggest the owners provide a physical checkout checklist. We admittedly missed a few things as I didnt check the listing (as I didnt use the wifi). Great stay! Highly recommend!

Great place to recover from a hike or stay for a week.

This cabin is perfect for a lakeside escape. We stayed here after a road trip around the USA and it was the perfect relaxing way to finish the vacation. Of all the places we have been we were most sad to leave this one. Thanks so much for having us.

Our stay here was very nice. The scenery was really nice and the house was clean, roomy, and comfortable. We enjoyed time down by the water as well as going for walks along the pond road. We will definitely be coming back to stay another time. Our only disappointment was that there were three different grills, but none of them were maintained or usable. There was no propane for the propane grill. In fact there was wood scraps in the belly of the propane grill. We ended up having to run into town and buy a cheap charcoal grill to use. Otherwise, we were very happy with our stay.

Beautiful, clean, quiet lake house

This was our second stay at the Green Door cabin, and it was relaxing and fun for all of us. Cozy is the best word to describe the cabin. It's nestled in the woods with plenty of privacy and the pond is right there. We enjoyed the firepit tucked next to a large rock outcropping. The beds are brand new, and that was a nice upgrade from our last visit. Very clean and very comfortable. There were a few mosquitoes outside, but no bugs indoors. We managed to enjoy everything. Overall, we all had a great time. Thank you!

We had such a good time spending our long weekend at this lovely camp. The porch is huge so we ate most of our meals out there. We also appreciated how close the house was to the water! It made it very easy to go swimming or paddling whenever we wanted!! It was a lovey stay !

Looking for a secluded camp, on the water, with everything you could ever need this is the place to stay. Cant wait to go back and enjoy more time here. Perfect get away. Great spot for a reset that offers privacy and all the creature comforts anyone could want.

It was a really nice place and you couldn’t beat the scenery…only problem is there is only one room so the sleeping arrangements were a bit of a challenge and there were bugs…but it truly was a wonderful experience and so much fun…the lake was incredible! Definitely recommended for just a small group
