If you are looking for a truly unique experience in Amsterdam, you couldn't go past staying in this beautiful houseboat. It's location is 5 star and what I didn't realise is you stay right where you are because from the deck you get to live local Amsterdam - everything happens around you. We didn't leave the boat except for groceries, and believe me, you won't want to eat out - the whole houseboat experience is just too good to leave. Everything you could possibly want and need is in the boat and everything is pretty, cared for and stylish. The owners, Roberto and Carl, go over and above what is required - you'll enjoy your hosts.

This place is too cool. Having traveled to Amsterdam many times, I had long dreamt of staying on a houseboat. I had high hopes of my first experience on one, and this place greatly exceeded those high expectations. The boat itself is newly renovated, fitted with luxury appliances and tech, and all with an eye for design. With 3 bedrooms, it's great for small groups and provides individual privacy when you want it. Centrally located in the heart of Amsterdam, this home provides the perfect canal-side setting that ensures you'll feel like you're living like local on your Dutch getaway. Robertino could not have been more welcoming. Check in was smooth and the place was full of breakfast treats, cold Heinekens and plenty of coffee for the espresso machine. Can't say enough good things about this place. You're lucky if it's available for the dates you're considering!
