Good location & plenty of room in the apartment. Very clean and breakfast was provided. Hosts very friendly and accommodating.

The listing specifically stated on the bookings site that parking was available at this location and no reservation was needed. When we arrived, we were told that since we did not make a reservation, our parking space was given to another guest who had made a reservation and we'd have to find parking on the busy street (during the holiday season.) Also, the breakfast was displayed out on the kitchen table for our entire 4 night visit. The fruit was not fresh and the pastries were vacuumed packed :-/

Beautifully furnished, clean, comfortable, spacious and quiet apartment. Located on the edge of the city center, convenient for walking into the center. The owner takes great care to provide excellent service. It was also a joy to see that L’Aquila is coming back from the 2009 earthquake. What a beautiful city once again, with lots of nightlife in the center and great local stores.

Nothing negative at all.

The location was excellent for my needs; just a 5 min walk to the Gran Sasso Science Institute for a conference. The house is located within a short walk to down town and there are several good restaurants in its vicinity. Check in and check out was easy and clearly explained. The property was very clean and quite, and very spacious. I do not know how it would be if shared with others. It included cute old traditional details and a number of upgrades. For example the bathroom was renovated. The breakfast was great; it included home made cakes, yoghurt, fruit, pear juice, bread, salami, coffee and milk. The kitchen is fully equipped to serve a family, but no dishwasher, which I think it is not customary in Europe. The host was speaking English and was very prompt to offer information when asked.

The only thing that it was missing was instructions on how to turn on the hot water (not so obvious for North American guests). It will be also nice to have information on restaurants, where to buy wine and food/groceries. This of course can be easily fixed by the host, and with the access to internet easy to find.

showers without hot water, oven and cooking supplies not working (which we were compensated for with ice cream), incorrect location on map (fixed it on google maps), poor breakfast not as shown in pictures and it could be cleaner, my allergies were not good in the apartment

Very well located for exploring L'Aquila, very spacious.

It's next to a reasonably busy street and on the ground floor, so you need to close curtains for privacy and close windows if you want it to be quiet.

Great apartment with lot of space and good equipment

The person who welcomed us did not speak a word of English and it has been annoying to communicate with him. There is a road very close to one of the room so it’s a bit noisy

Right in the centre of the town, very spacious, comfortable and clean. helpful and flexible host

We arrived in bitterly cold weather & the apartment was cold. A phone call to the owner brought someone in 10 minutes and in another 5 it was lovely & warm. Despite the bitter weather, we were always warm & comfortable. The owner changed the linen during our stay & offered to do so again. The location was superb. Central l'Aquila with everything on hand. Restaurants, places to visit. Still lots of renovation after the 2009 earthquake. It must have been devastating.

A very small fridge & no-where to store dry goods, tins etc. The adjacent parking space had a stone missing, which tilted our high wheelbase van to such an extent that it was damaged underneath. Cost 100€ plus to rectify once home. We stayed 8 nights & had a sick dog so we mostly self-catered. Too cold to go out! There was no chopping board, breadknife, cutting knives. 3 frying pans but no wooden utensils. We managed because we came in our van. On leaving, we mentioned this to the owner & she said that if we had let her know, she would have done something straight away. We are sure she would have. She was SO sorry.

great location and having the whole apartment meant we could relax in the morning together and in the evenings too.

could have done with another comfy sofa and breakfast items were only restocked once leaving us a bit short on our last morning.

I chose this place because I wanted to spend a relaxing day with my cat away from the city chaos. L'Aquila is gorgeous and in the apartment I found everything I needed. The Place is located just a few steps from the center. The owners were very helpful and attentive. I can say that I was really enthusiastic.

Beautiful house, well furnished, spacious, all amenities provided including breakfast. We had a very helpful host who even responded to a question at 11 pm at night. Would recommend.

Nice, large Appartment in the City Center of L'Aquila. Parking Space available.

The apartment is on the ground floor of the building. The windows face directly to the inside courtyard which is the parking area. It was difficult to open the bedroom window, becuase if open, there's no barriere. You can reach the parking from there.

A lot of space, well equipped, location close to the park and at the beginning of the old town.

The noiseof the cars.

Very near the centre, yet reachable by car, Parking was not an issue. Very clean and roomy. Exceptional value for money, including wifi and a complimentary breakfast.

Minor, very minor issue. The bathroom is new, but needs some silicon in the shower to stop the water trickling on the floor.
