Camera, esterni non puliti, ho trovato cimici morte e il terrazzo era sporco e pieno di mozziconi di sigarette Mancavano le federe ai cuscini, le lenzuola del letto singolo erano sgualcite, come se fossero già usate, ho trovato dei pezzetti di pane.

The owner contacted me personally to ensure my booking confirmation and arrival time. No pre payment was required and we were able to take care of the bill that evening as we had dinner at the restaurant on site. It was a bit tricky finding the entrance with construction going on, but the owner was able to help out with that. We were given a voucher for breakfast at the local bar in the morning, but unfortunately we were not able to use it as we didn't have the time to. Was not the fanciest place to stay, but it suited my one night stay and it was very close to all bars, shops and restaurants.

The location of the b&b was in the city center, although surrounded by bars and cafes, which were nosy as L’Aquila is a university city full of young students, it was impressively quiet. But the magical thing about this place is the restaurant. Very good food (actually difficult to find bad food in Italy), Tuesday night I even watched Napoli-Liverpool having a tipical local pizza and discussing with the especially friendly host. That’s Italy, you never feel away from home.
