Overall great stay. I would power wash the pool area. The spider webs hanging from the celling was really uncomfortable. I wasn't sure if something was going to drop on me or in the water.

The place had a ton of space, inside and outside! Very clean, more towel than I have ever seen, it was stocked with TP and laundry detergent! The driveway was able to fit 5 cars. And more spaces on the lawn! Definitely would recommend!

Communication, coordination, admin, etc w/the owner and VRBO was flawless. Location is near most amenities and main roads for easy access. House itself is just old. Interior is dated - old furniture, kitchen appliances, etc. Exterior looks fine from a distance. A/C worked fine. Generally the house was clean but paper towels used to blot up a small amount of water spilled on the blue high shag carpet came out literally brown w/whatever came up w/the water. Lots of clean utensils in the kitchen but the coffee makers were so gross that even after trying to clean them up we went out each day for coffee. I guess the market supports the pricing but this wasn’t worth what I paid.

Come into town often nice an clean

House was dingy. Upstairs attic bedroom space was dangerous. Only one bedroom had a closet. One bedroom was at the end of the kitchen with no privacy. Upstairs bathroom was extremely small, men had to shave in the downstairs bathroom. Used soap and body wash left in shower. Refrigerator was noisy. Coffee pot was dirty. Would not stay here again

Excellent communication. Provided a high chair and pack n play for our infants… THANK YOU! The only issue we had was with the upstairs bedrooms/bath. As reported ceilings were low and lightning was either low or very bright. Additionally, the two window air conditioning units were noisy. Also the upstairs bathroom uses a pump for the toilet and shower drain. Quite noisy. The downstairs spaces were very accommodating. If only downstairs spaces are used I would give 5 stars!

Wounderful area, awesome host, friendly setvice. Even though there was a minor hiccup she addressed is quickly and was very professional about it. Even though it was not resolved immediately she was awseome about everything. Kim is a great property manager

Kim was an excellent host the house great it had everything we needed. I will definitely be booking with Kim again in the near future.

Great time, even our dogs had fun. One slight issue and, there was an immediate response and repair. Wonderful hosts. If our daughter marries again we will definitely return.

It was a bit difficult to find but once we got there, everything was ready to go, clean and in order. The pool is attached to another home on the property but is available to all guest, and was nice on a warm day. The upstairs bathroom was small but better than going downstairs. Overall, it was a great find for a late weekend trip.

Recently stayed at this property and it was dope. Plenty of room for 4 adults and 2 dogs. Upon checking in, it was clean and smelled great. The living spaces are large and nicely cooled, the bedrooms are decked out with plenty of storage and the kitchen is massive with everything you need. Bonus fun: the knick knacks and books are something to see! Peep the salad recipe book from 1979, it was like opening a time capsule. I HIGHLY recommend this spot if you need to stay in the area I’d definitely stay again.

Perfect spot for a big group

Overall had a great weekend and would recommend this property.My only complaint is didn’t get use the pool due to other guests.

The location and house is fine. Though the house is older it is a great space for a large family or group of friends with a very large kitchen. Our biggest issue was keeping the house cool enough to sleep at night. The first floor rooms were great but the 2 sleeping areas upstairs were so hot one of our couples left and got a hotel room. The house is listed as having central air but it is not connected to the second floor. Instead, there are window units and they are no match for July's summer temps. In fact the breaker for that area kept tripping due to how hard the units had to work. The upstairs bathroom was like going into a Florida attic. There was simply no way you could shut the door and take a shower. The two single beds upstairs were also uncomfortable though the rest of the beds were fine. Probably a good choice if the temps are below the 80's at night.

We thought this property felt like staying at a cared for home. We were in town for a close loved ones passing so we needed a calm space to process and spend time with local family. This place was perfect. The pool on property was a much needed respite and we all had enough space to care for ourselves and spend time with extended family.

This property was very nice. My family enjoyed the property and the pool. The host was very nice and gave us a warm welcome. I also enjoyed the shower upstairs!

Great house.

There were pros an cons about this property. Pros - property mngrs were responsive and attentive when we had resolvable issue, good amount of space, close to our venue, surface level clean Cons - property needs some TLC - carpet needs replaced/deep cleaned, walls/doors need wiped down, floors need scrubbed.....whole house needs a good deep cleaning (it appears the cleaning fee does not pay for a professional cleaning service, which is unfortunate), interior stairs going to remodeled attic are not safe coming down, upstairs bathroom is not great - issues with toilet flushing and makes grinding noises....it's like an RV toilet, upstairs shower surround has a hole where you can see sunlight coming through where they likley built over a window, exterior needs TLC as well, and right off a fast moving roadway. Overall, the property was ok, but we wouldn't stay there again. Def not a 5 star property, but if you're looking for a place just to sleep and you don't care about staying somewhere super clean, this will do. It should be noted that we didn't mention any of these cons to the property mngrs during our stay, because none of these things could have been resolved in 3 days. They were larger issues due to house construction and maintenance.

This location was close to most of our visiting places. It was very comfortable and made this vacation smooth. We will have positive memories from this vacation including this setting.

Upon arrival we noticed a small issue upstairs, we contacted Kim the property manager who resolved the issue immediately and went out of her way to make sure we were happy. Thank you Kim! This house was perfect for our family of 8, it’s close to beach and grocery. The price was good for what we received, we did not use the pool.

All necessities were provided. Quiet neighborhood. Cozy home. Perfect getaway for our group. Highly recommend

This large home fit my family of 7 perfectly. It was clean and pleasant to stay in. The large 75' pool was unique and very fun to swim in. The home was very close to a grocery store to stock the fridge and a very short drive to the beach. We would love to stay there again!!

The house was perfect for what we needed. It had enough space for a family of 5 and close to everything we wanted to be close to. Unfortunately we had a bit of bad weather the first 2 days, so the pool was too cold to use once the storms passed, but overall it was exactly what we expected and would rent here again.

Had a great stay

Great property for a big group of family and friends to enjoy a weekend for the Daytona 500. Plenty of space. Clean. Huge yard for the kids to play in.

Property was ok.

The stay was overall good. I knew that it was not going to be fancy but would have appreciated it to be cleaner. The pool situation was a bit funky and it should be noted that it was not heated at all. Decent stay for the price.

Great place for the price, we didn’t go to the beach but it was close enough to get to in little time. Place was a cool older house with lots of charm. Only thing is some of the beds need upgraded but it was fine for a few nights and for the price, great value. The pool was across the property at another house next door, guessing it’s the same owners. We didn’t use the pool as it was too cold outside (January). Would definitely stay again!

Good space for a girls weekend as it was easy to get to downtown Canal Street and Flagler Street. New Smyrna is a great little town with lots to see. While this area is not within walking distance, it was certainly convenient. This modest house served as a good home base in an older neighborhood. It is clean and at a reasonable rate. Comfy living room. There are lots of towels and extra linens. Kitchen is equipped for folks on vacation, not cooking. (So many great places to eat, it was fine for us) Older guests should know the stairs may be a challenge but there are two bedrooms downstairs and two upstairs in renovated attic space. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend the property. Kim, the property manager, is conscientious and answers questions promptly.

Booking was very easy and property/house was as described. The house was clean when we arrived and it’s very conveniently located to everywhere we wanted to go. The space shower (that’s what we called it 😂) is interesting but we figured it out. Just turn the bottom knob and it turns on the main shower head (you’re welcome!) There were a few of us and there was plenty of space. The downstairs was a nice hang out spot either at the dining table or in the living room. Huge kitchen. All in all a great stay for our annual friends’ new years!

Zero complaints. Had a great stay.
